Villa in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, Balearics

This beautifully appointed villa is set within it's own private garden, has it's own private pool. It is within a very peaceful conservation area but is also close to Santa Ponsa, Puerto Adriano and the small village of El Toro. It's accommodation is over two floors with two en-suite bedrooms upstairs both sharing a beautiful terrace overlooking the private garden and a further bedroom suite downstairs with access to the covered terraces and garden. It has been furnished and equipped to the very highest of standards and is our home from home. No expense has been spared. All bedrooms have HD TV's with independent Satellite and DVD players not to mention the huge 60 inch TV in the lounge! It is the perfect choice for the more discerning of guests who wish for five star luxury accommodation and surroundings.

The villa is conveniently situated close to several beautiful beaches. It is within a few minutes walk of the small sandy beach at El Toro, adjacent to Puerto Adriano with its cafes and restaurants, a 5 min drive to the large beach in Santa Ponsa surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants. It is a 15 min drive through pine forests to the more secluded beach at Portals Vells with its own beach restaurant, a favourite anchorage for the superyachts. Many more sandy coves are a short drive away.


Palma International Airport is a 25 min drive away and the ferry port in Palma is only a 15 min drive. Hire car is recommended in order to make the most of Mallorca but is certainly not essential as there are several restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance. The new marina of Puerto Adriano provides the area with many more cafes, bars and restaurants as well as designer shops. Buses and taxis are inexpensive and reliable.


Palma with it beautiful cathedral, fabulous shops, restaurants, bars and cafes is a 15 min drive. The mountain villages of Valdemossa and Deya are approx 1 hour by car and the chic marina at Portals is a 10 min drive. Magaluf and Palmanova with their bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment are within a 5 min drive as are the main family attractions such as Marineland, Western Water Park, Pirates Adventure and Aqualand.

There is a fantastic selection of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and budgets in nearby Santa Ponsa and the surrounding area, some of which are within walking distance of the villa. A comprehensive list of some of the nicest ones can be found in our guest book. Santa Ponsa also has a large selection of shops, supermarkets and boutiques. Cafe culture can be found in the streets of Old Palma with its authentic Spanish plaza's whilst the more energetic shoppers will enjoy central Palma for a myriad of shops, designer boutiques and department stores, not for the faint-hearted! Puerto Portals has a small exclusive selection of designer boutiques, and there is something for everyone at Porto Pi, a covered shopping mall on the seafront in Palma 15 minutes drive away. The mountain villages of Esporles and Fornalutx are worth a visit and have authentic markets and open air cafes. Fornalutx was voted 'prettiest village in Spain' for several years and lives up to expectations with breathtaking views and olde world charm. Andratx is a 15 min drive away and has the best of both worlds, an old town full of character and atmosphere where they hold a weekly market and Andratx Port, full of designer boutiques, superyachts, cafes and waterside restaurants where you can relax and soak up the atmosphere. Within a ten minute walk is the Port of Adriano which, as well as a range of restaurants and cafes to suit all budgets, has a new watersports centre which offers PADI diving courses from beginner to advanced/free diving, as well as paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing and boat/jet ski hire.

Booking Notes:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to the holiday. A security deposit of £500 will also be required which is fully refundable upon return of the keys and providing no damage has been done and no excess cleaning required. Pets may be accepted. Please enquire.

Changeover Day:
Changeovers are on Saturdays in peak season but can be flexible at other times of the year. Guests will have access to the villa after 3pm on the day of arrival and must vacate by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the rental of the villa per week.

In order to secure the reservation a 50% non refundable deposit of the total rental rate is required upon booking with the balance due eight weeks prior to the start of the holiday. A security deposit of £500 is also required and is payable with the balance. This will be refunded after your stay providing no damage has occurred.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa has hot and cold air-conditioning in all rooms which are individually controlled and has a wood-burning open fire in the lounge making it suitable for use all year round. It is perfectly suitable for families with children but it should be noted that the private pool is not enclosed. The garden is private and secure with private entrance gates. There is a covered carport for your personal use with a lockable side gate into the front garden. Outside: The villa is surrounded by it's own private garden which has a lawn, private pool, and several covered terraces. The large live-out covered terrace outside the lounge has two and three seater wicker sofas and a coffee table. It overlooks the garden and pool and is the perfect place to relax. The covered terrace outside the downstairs bedroom has a dining table and seating for six people and also overlooks the garden and pool. A further terrace on the upper floor is shared by the two upstairs bedrooms and has beautiful views over the golfcourse and the sunset. Utility Room: Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Clothes airer. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa will be cleaned and freshly prepared for your arrival with high quality bedlinen and towels. The property is rented under the urban law with no touristic services of any kind provided. Strictly non smoking. Other: The bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and dressing areas with plenty of hanging space as well as bedside tables and chests of drawers. They are tastefully furnished and accessorised and complemented by quality bedlinen.
