Holiday haven

What a fantastic property! We had a fabulously relaxed time and the house was perfect for what we needed. The pool is private and essential for those hot days! Willow was fantastic with communication and Dave is a huge asset to the team, he could not help enough.

Peurto Calero is just a short ride away and I would highly recommend. It's quiet marina setting makes for a perfect evening for cocktails and dinner.

Overall a fantastic holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Thanks to Willow, Dave and Sue for making our stay amazing.

The villa was everything we hoped for. The outside area was very private and enjoyed our days lazily round the pool. The owners of the local Spanish bar were very friendly and welcoming. Dave the property manager was a very helpful pleasant man and nothing was a trouble. The owners communication made the booking so much easier. We have booked again for this summer and looking forward to visiting lanzarote again.

Relaxing and secluded getaway, fantastic

We stayed for 2 weeks, the property is as described, clean and well maintained. The most relaxing holiday we've ever had! The garden area is surrounded by a high wall so very private. The village of Conil is also very quiet and there is a great welcome at the local bar (ask for the deep fried octopus!). Dave, the onsite caretaker was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Tony and Willow, the owners were very easy to deal with. We have booked to go back in October and we are really looking forward to it.

Great quiet place to stay

What a lovely place to stay, we went as a couple and was perfect for us. We wanted quiet and out of the way and it was exactly that. Dave the property manager was excellent and happily offered and gave us lifts into the next village if we wanted. The pool was ample for the 2 of us and we had a few good evenings into the nights with the barbecue. We are both eagerly looking at booking again for this year.

Perfect holiday!

We loved La Bodega and everything about it. Its the perfect size for 2, very homely, well equipped and even has it's own private pool! Conil is a sweet village with a local shop and 2 tapas bars well away from the resorts but equally very close in the car. Other great things nearby are the West Coast and all it has to offer (El Golfo etc), the Bodegas of The La Geria region and the sweet town of Tias with a much larger supermarket. Nothing on the island is much more than half an hour away from Conil and it's central location.

Dave the property manager lives just around the corner and is incredibly friendly and helpful.

We couldn't have asked for more. Excellent value for money.

Activity and Interests


10 mins drive to Puerto del Carmen beaches ranging from small rocky coves to the deep sandy beaches of Fariones and Los Pocillos.

20 mins drive to the black beaches of the West coast. 30 mins drive to Papagayo (perhaps the best on the island).


Guacimeta airport Arrecife 7km. A car is recommended but not essential as a cheap and efficient bus service covers Tias, Pto. del Carmen and Pto. Calero from Conil.


Conil has its own supermarket and a couple of tapas bars. Tias 5 mins drive has 2 supermarkets, banks, several restaurants and bars and a petrol station.

Further Details:

Not to be missed are the Cesar Manrique designed places of interest around the island including Fire Mountain, the Caves, the Cactus Garden, His House etc.
