Your house your truly magical!

  • 5 of 5

The house was very comfortable and easy to use. David and Eilis are wonderful and made us feel as though we were more than visitors for our time there. From the horses to the chickens and dogs - we truly felt welcomed and a part of the daily life of the equestrian center. We even got to see the horses getting new shoes! I truly cannot say enough about our stay! I highly recommend your house to everyone I show our pictures to because we felt we were family instead of visitors!

Amazing Ireland Experience

  • 5 of 5

The lodge was amazing with an Old Ireland cottage feel. Enjoyed a fire every night and a nice feeling of home . The hosts were very helpful and friendly. A short drive to Cork and other places for sight seeing. A quick trip to Mallow for any supplies, but still out in the country enough to enjoy the landscape.

Favorite Vacation Rental Ever

  • 5 of 5

We booked this property back in June 2013 for a week, and at the time I tried to post a review but the site was having problems. (It wouldn't let me enter my original dates, so that's why it says June 2016) Well, it was so GREAT, here I am years later still thinking about this vacation and the amazing owner, David. We brought our three kids and my uncle along for this vacation to Ireland to trace our roots, and when I saw the thatch roof online, I was sold. We arrived to a very clean and well stocked home that is so much better than the pictures even show. It comfortably slept all of us and many evening were spent by the fireplace with hot cocoa and laughter as we relived the days events. David met us at the rental and showed us everything we needed to know, built us a fire, plus sat with us for several hours (at our request) while we plotted out our Irish road trip. The house is in the most picturesque setting, it's like a fairy tale. The kids had so much fun seeing all the animals in the barn and David even gave my equestrian daughter some riding lessons. Really, this review is even more about the host than the gorgeous house, because David is the epitome of an excellent host. It felt like we had (have) family in Ireland!! If you book this property, you will not be disappointed. This is a vacation we plan to repeat in the future, and we rarely love a place enough to want to visit it again. We will definitely try to book this place when we return!!! 10 stars:)
