Formerly the show house, this lovely villa is front line to the La Marquesa Golf Course and enjoys extensive views of the course. Within a minutes' walk of the golf club house, local supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the bank. Use of 2 large swimming pools exclusive to the complex. Superb beaches at Guardamar are only a 10 minute drive. Ciudad Quesada itself has an aqua park, medical centre, supermarkets, banks, bars, nightlife to suit all tastes. Alicante & Murcia Airports only about 35 mins. The larger resort of Torrevieja is only about 15 mins by car.

I have been going to Ciudad Quesada for over 20 years and have spent many happy holidays there with my family. I decided to buy my own villa in 1997 and have not regretted it. I speak fluent Spanish and know the area very well. My priority is the satisfaction of my guests and my aim to ensure that they enjoy a relaxing and hassle-free holiday - the personal touch you won't get with a package holiday.

great location

lovely to find all the little extras you would have at home but not expect in a rental property . Great location for exploring from Alicante down to Cartegena , and especially nice to be able to park up at the end of the day and stroll down to a resteraunt or bar and enjoy some refreshment without the need of driving or taxis , and Peggy the owner was a pleasure to deal with .

Lovely, clean comfortable villa in lovely area.

Had a great holiday, the villa was perfect for me, my husband and our teenage son. The surrounding area is lovely with fantastic restaurants on your doorstep! The owner Peggy was easy to deal with, would highly recommend.

Very relaxing

This was our first visit to La Marquesa, the villa is ideally situated for the numerous bars and restaurants and the pool close by which at the time we visited was virtually unused so we had it to ourselves quite a lot of the time. The Villa was very clean and well looked after and the people who look after it were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Peggy, the owner was very easy to deal with and responded to e-mails very promptly. Rojales was a 10-15 minute walk away with a large market. Overall this was a very relaxing holiday and would definitely go back. Many thanks Peggy.

This was our second stay at this lovely Villa, and wont be our last as we intend to book it again soon. After only a 35 minute drive from Alicante Airport, you arrive at this fabulous Villa, which is spotless and very well equipped with comfortable furniture. The booking and the handover work very smoothly and hassle free. The views from the Solarium of the Villa are stunning overlooking the golf resort - have a beer, wine, or G&T up there and watch the sun go down - oh how we wish we were there now! The position of the Villa is perfect just a few yards from the wonderful choice and quality of restaurants and bars, yet remains remarkably quiet. The onsite Supermarket stocks a good range of food. If you are going for a golfing holiday there would be no need to hire a car as everything is on your doorstep. However, it is nice to get out and visit the surrounding areas, markets, and of course the marvellous sandy Guardamar beach, which is only a 10 minute drive away. There are two swimming pools, one being a stone's throw from the Villa - very handy for a dip. It is an English speaking resort, and all the staff are very helpful, and food and drinks are very cheap making it a really good value holiday.

Fabulous Villa

We have been staying here. For 2or3 times a year over the past 4/5 years the place is a credit to its owner Peggy who is brilliant to deal with the decor and amenities are a credit to her.The top terrace has breathtaking views of the fabulous golf course and is two minutes walk to brilliant restaurants,Indian,Chinese and Steakhouse just to mention a few.Its a wonderful safe and trouble free part of Spain and forgot to mention a large supermarket.Great comunial pool and close to great beaches.

A very well situated accomodation consisting of two bedrooms and one bathroom.Plenty of room for four people.Fifty metres from the most excellent resteraunts you could wish for and one hundred metres from the golf clubhouse for the more energetic.Have stayed here many times over the past few years and have booked again for 2015.Easy to deal with proprieter and representatives at the location.All in all my ideal holiday.

Location

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Sandy blue flag beaches which stretch for miles can be found at Guardamar (only about 10 minutes by car). There are many other lovely beaches along this coastline which offer safe bathing and good facilities.

Travel:

Alicante or Murcia Airports are only about 35 minutes away. Airport collection can be arranged if required. Car hire, not essential, but recommended if you wish to explore further afield.

Distances:

Local bars and restaurants are only a minute's walk from the villa. Guests can also walk to the nearest town of Rojales within about 10 minutes (a must on market days if you want to pick up some bargains). The Town Centre at Ciudad Quesada is about 5 minutes by car. The lively resort of Torrevieja is about 15 minutes by car.

Further Details:

There is plenty for all the family to enjoy. Recommended is the Moors and Christians Fiesta in Guardamar (usually around 25 or 26 July), but there are many other local fiestas too. Alicante town is steeped in history and a visit to the castle or local museums is recommended. The port area is very interesting and there is some great shopping here. The Palm Groves at Elche offer some shade in the height of the summer. Trips can be purchased locally for Terra Mitica or for an evening out at the Benidorm Palace.
