Apartment in Llenaire, Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Quiet location. 2 Minutes Walk From Beautiful Beach

This beautiful air-conditioned 3 bedoom apartment is recently totally refurnished. There are 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). Free secure Wifi. Satellite UK television. It is situated in a block of 12 apartments with well kept gardens and pool. The apartment is on the lowest floor of the block with 8 steps up to the front door and allocated parking below. A large balcony with patio table and chairs overlooks the pool and gardens. A 2 minute walk along a palm lined avenue brings you to a beautiful sandy beach with sunbeds, parasols and showers. The centre of Puerto Pollensa is a further 25 minutes stroll along the sea front which is also served by a frequent bus service. The apartment block is inhabited mainly by local people who do not use the pool and gardens. Our guests usually have the pool and gardens to themselves.

Great Location for a quiet family get away

Excellent spot just outside of the main resort Pollensa. Two very good restaurants and the beach are within 2-minutes walk of the apartment.

Excellent service and rapid response from the owner David Lowry throughout.

I would recommend for families looking for a quiet location.

Great holiday

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in August. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It had a nice big balcony overlooking the pool and garden area. Its location suited us. It was only a 2 minute walk from the beach in a quiet area of Puerto Pollensa. However, it was only a 20 minute stroll into the centre of town along the palm tree lined promenade. The owners were friendly and efficient to correspond with.

Would recommend staying and would go back again.

Spacious, well located with all amenities

Stayed, with my wife and grown up children, in La Veleta mid September 2014 for 8 nights.

All in all 4 star, would return without hesitation and will recommend to family & friends. Well priced. UK Owner was very helpful and provided accurate and useful info, sent keys 10 days in advance arrived by Royal Mail. Deposit returned very promptly. Very positive experience.

Location:- great, 20 mins walk along seafront to centre of town. Set in quiet residential area, 1 min to lovely sandy beach with town owned sunbeds and straw topped umbrellas (at a cost). Bus stops to town, pollensa and alcudia also adjacent. Taxi ride from town 5 euros. If you have a car plenty of off street parking and easy access to ring road. 4 minutes walk to nearest spar for newspapers and freshly baked breads. Also couple of decent restaurants within 2 minutes, others both directions in 10 and of course town full of good restaurants.

Pool:- Good sized pool, very private and well maintained set in mature garden ( both the pool man and gardeners visited whilst we were there and did a thorough job).There are loungers but belong to each apartment, not an issue when I was there as not busy. They are plastic without any padded cushions but hey it was 30 C when we were there and we spent a lot of time in pool.

Apartment:- Overall spacious, clean and tidy. wifi was excellent, very fast needed for the offspring aged 20 and 19, flat screened TV shows main 5 U.K. channels plus. Terrace is large facing pool and in the distance the sea. We spent couple of hours each evening here (table & 6 chairs) before we headed off into town, great very relaxing.

Kitchen fully equipped like new. Living area bright and spacious with air con.

Main Bedroom a double has air con and is ensuite. Plenty of storage in all rooms. Twin bedroom air con and access to balcony. Third bedroom smaller with bunk beds, no air con but access to terrace so sliding doors could be left open at night with security/sun grill down. Also main bathroom. Loads of hot water when required. Very comfortable and would be extremely happy to return. Negatives- Could do with a lick of paint in a very odd place but this was September, season end and no doubt the owner will be tending to this and other minor maintenance over the winter.

Lovely stay

My family (myself, husband, toddler & baby) had a lovely stay in La Veleta. We found everything as described. It was great not having to take a travel cot. The location was excellent, far enough away from the front to not be noisy, but an extremely short walk to the beach and a cluster of restaurants/bars (tried La Suirelle and Swing both very nice. Around p.pollensa- Tango to the south of the resort- lovely location and amazing value for money, and good food. Pizza in Little Italy fantastic, and paella in Iru extremely tasty). If you want to have amenities close, but not be in the middle of the resort, this was just with a lovely wide beach and a nice stroll/v short drive into the port; plenty of people around but not overcrowded. Apartment was well kitted out with everything we needed. We happily come back or recommend to friends.

Clean comfortable and well positioned

This is a nice apartment in a good location. Not too far from main busy area but far enough to be quiet. Few minutes from beach which is well maintained. Can work out expensive paying for sun beds and shade on the beach every day! Apartment is clean and well appointed. Pool is good size but could do with mattress for the sun-beds. Will return.

Excellent location

Excellent location in the quiet area of Llenaire.

Modern and refurbished kitchen with everything you need. Bedrooms a bit plain but ok. Livingroom area was nice, a good size.

Bathrooms are very dated, and suffer from mould. Bathrooms could use refurbishment.

The balcony has a very nice view overlooking the lovely poolarea, but the table and chairs are too big for the space. The balcony doors needs to be replaced in the two bedrooms facing the poolarea. They are not soundproofed at all...

Very fast internet.

Would consider to return when bathrooms have been refurbished.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the location, poolarea and internet.

Very good contacts with the owner.

We bought this apartment because of its excellent position so close to a beautiful sandy beach yet quiet and set in lovely gardens. We have owned it for 3 years and started with a blank canvas and have totally furnished it with IKEA furniture and furnishings. We tend to use it out of season because our son and his family live only 1 mile away.

Special interest holidays:

The area around Puerto Pollensa is ideal for cycling holidays with many marked cycle routes and a choice of flat itineries and more severe mountain tests in the Tramuntana Mountains.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is only a 2 minutes walk along a palm-lined avenue. The beach is sandy with sunbeds and parasols and showers and changing rooms are available.

Travel:

With the opening of the new motorway it is only a 45 -50 minute drive from Palma Airport. A coach service is also available from the airport which stops at the end of the road to the apartment (2 minutes walk). Car hire is recommended but not essential.

Distances:

The centre of Puerto Pollensa is a 2 minutes drive or a 25 minutes stroll away.

Further Details:

The nearest restaurant is 2 minutes walk away and the nearest supermarket is about a 3 minute walk
