Villa in Calahonda, Costa Del Sol, Spain - Villa Close To All Amenities

Located in a quiet cul de sac in Calahonda close to the beach. This villa comprises 3 bedrooms, full bathroom and guest wc, living and dining room with Satellite TV and modern style kitchen with American style fridge freezer and built in deep fat fryer (this modern property does not have a built in dishwasher and the traditional dish washing system operates). At the front of the property there is a large tiled open terrace, a swimming pool and shaded terrace. The pool is enclosed inside a railed off area ensuring peace of mind for parents of young children. The front of the property is in sunshine from midday to sunset. There is also a lime tree which produces fresh limes all summer and is very handy for making fresh mojitos. French doors lead to the rear terrace and lawned garden which has a selection of fruit trees, a built in BBQ and access to the covered roof terrace. The roof terrace has all day sunshine and is an ideal location for an evening meal or quiet drink.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Luna Beach is less than 5 minutes drive from the house. Parking is available on the beach. It extends to the small and picturesque harbour of Cabopino which has a good selection of port side restaurants and bars. The village of La Cala is less than ten minute drive away. It is a traditional Spanish village with a lovely beach. Further down towards Marbella are many more beaches and beach clubs.

Travel:

Malaga Airport is about a 35 minute drive from Calahonda and a car is recommended for getting around. There is a good selection of local car hire companies offering very competitive prices in the airport. The internet is also worth checking out. There is a good local bus service from the N340 that travels to Marbella and Fuengirola and also a train service from Fuengirola to Malaga City. Fuengirola is 15 kilometres for Calahonda. Gibralter can be reached in under 2 hours along the motorway.

Distances:

There are many places to visit within a short drive of Calahonda. From traditional white villages such as Mijas and Ronda to the glitz and glamour of Puerto Banus. For those who would like a day away from Calahonda consideration should be given to Gibralter, Seville and Granada.

Fuengirola 15km. Torremolinos 32km. Benalmadena 22km. Marbella 16km. Puerto Banus 30km. Mijas Pueblo 25km. Malaga 45km. Granada 175km. Gibraltar 100km. All distances are approximate.

Further Details:

There is a large selection of supermarket chains within the Calahonda area. Calahonda also contains a selection of local and international restaurants to suit all tastes.

  • Notes on accommodation: Villa Carol is ideal for families with young children. The pool area is railed off and front terrace safe for children to play. The villa is single storey. Outside: At the front of the property is a large tiled terrace area and swimming pool. There is also a covered terrace that receives sunshine from midday til sunset. French doors lead to the lawned rear garden and a small selection of fruit trees. Out here there is a built in BBQ, stairs up to the covered roof terrace which is ideal for outdoor dining or enjoying an evening drink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided. However, clients are asked to bring their own beach towels. Gardener/pool cleaner comes once a week in off season and twice a week in high season.
