The Old Dairy

The Old Dairy has an open plan kitchen, dining, sitting area with the original beams exposed. The double bedroom and bathroom which has a bath with shower overhead are on the ground floor. The twin beds are in a gallery room in an old loft area accessed by narrow spiral stairs. This cottage is not suitable for children under 5 years. The downstairs area is tiled and heated with underfloor heating. Outside is a small courtyard garden. Parking is close to the cottage.

Brook farm cottages are centrally situated in the country. 10 miles south of oxford and 3 miles south of the market town of abingdon and with in an hours reach of london, windsor, lego land, warwick, stratford on avon, cheltenham, the cotswolds, bath, stonehenge and many other places of interest. Brook farm cottages are situated between 3 pretty oxfordshire villages with a choice of pubs and restaurants nearby.

About Pam Humphrey

We have a small farm comprising of free range chicken and horse liveries and needed to make use of old redundant farm buildings that had been a milking parlour. Our cottages are situated on the edge of the farmyard and still retain much of their original character.

We are central in the south of the country and have easy access to the A34 and many places of interest with in an hour.

Nearest Train : Didcot at 4 Miles Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

We are well situated for walkers being within a few miles of the Thames path and Ridgeway


Beaches on the south coast are approximately an hours drive.


Airports and ports are easily accesible by motorway and some of the airports can be reached by train from Didcot station 4 miles from the cottages.


The nearest villages of Drayton, Milton and Sutton Courtenay are just over a mile from the cottages. These villages have pubs and village shops. The market town of Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage are 15 minutes drive and the University city of Oxford is 10 miles away.

With in 1 hr of London, Legoland, Windsor castle, Warwick castle, Bath, Cheltenham, Cotswolds, Chilterns.

Notes on prices:
Easter Christmas New Year and end of May bank holiday week are charged at the August rate. Bookings over 3 weeks qualify for a 10% discount.

  • Notes on accommodation: Children are welcome at Brook Farm cottages. A laundry room is available for use by the guests at no extra cost. Linen for the beds is provided but bath towels are at an extra cost. Kitchen towels are provided. A car is necessary but shops and pubs are within easy reach. No pets are allowed. Outside: Parking is available outside the Old Parlour and Shippen and close by for the Old Dairy. Each cottage has a courtyard garden which links in to a communal safe play area for children.
