Penthouse Apartment-Fabulous 3 tiered pool.Great for families, couples, cyclists & walkers.

A superbly located and maintained privately owned apartment, in Bellesreguard, literally the other side of the road from the famous Pine Walk and beach.

It boasts an expansive roof terrace with views of the mountains and sea that gets the sun from sunrise to sunset. The apartment is in a beautiful complex with landscaped gardens with lily ponds and a stunning 3 tiered swimming pool, perfect for children and length swimming.

The apartment sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and has a light and spacious living area with access to a balcony with dining furniture overlooking the gardens and pool. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with separate utility area where we have the washing machine, another sink for hand washing and store the highchair, beach paraphernalia etc. A great place to store pushchairs, if needed. The roof terrace has another dining area. In fact, in all, there are 3 different places to eat, depending on the temperature and your mood! There is a new high tech air conditioning/heating system in all rooms.

We feel we have a fabulous roof garden that you would hope to find in the Mediterranean, complete with an olive and a lemon tree! We use it as a real living space - to cook, eat, drink, relax and read and sunbathe in complete privacy. It is 90 metres square - the same area as the apartment below!

We have tried to avoid going to Ikea in Palma for everything but to furnish it in an individual, happy sunshiny style and have chosen (or made) quirky pieces/art work such as Rob's own furniture; paintings; clock and sculptures. We have provided everything you need for young children -an Avent steriliser, highchair, travel cot and bedding, plastic bowls, plates and cutlery. We also have an extensive range of soft toys, children books and DVDs and beach toys for you to use. We know how stressful it is to pack everything you need for young children into a tiny bag, fitting Ryanair's strict dimensions! We have been there!

Our apartment is in Belleresguard which is the most exclusive area of Puerto Pollensa and it really does feel exclusive! The whole complex is privately owned and is so safe and quiet. We have brand new access gates with security codes and at night it really is so quiet - no hotel or complex bars thumping away with music till the early hours. Bliss !

Puerto Pollensa is so easy with young children! We love the family atmosphere of the resort - no high rise hotels; no blasting night clubs ! But plenty of fun water sports for all ages on the main beach.

At the front of the complex, there is a fantastically well stocked cafe/supermarket, that does everything from children's meals to a full-on evening menu with authentic tapas and cocktails. Tony does a mean Stawberry Moquito! It has free WiFi on site.

And across the road is the famous Pine Walk and a 10 minute stroll into the town along the water's edge, passing many bars and restaurants. Or 5 minutes the other way to "Gin and Tonic Corner" at the Ila Dor hotel!.There is no need for a car if you wish to just enjoy the resort! However there is a large car park at the front and Tony hires cars from the café that are delivered and collected from the car park.

The apartment is perfect for couples (you can have your own bathroom!) or families of 6. We cater for all group sizes. The summer months often see a couple with 2 children and their grandparents-halves the cost and has the bonus of having a babysitter for the odd night!

The area is very popular with bird watchers and cyclists out of the main season and we feel our apartment and Puerto Pollensa offer an all-year round destination. We have a great heating system in the all the rooms plus cosy blankets for chillier mornings. The hikes are so quiet making bird/wildlife watching so much more exciting. Plus the roads are clearer for cyclists.There are now more cheap flights available in the winter months when it is quieter and less expensive to rent.

We use a professional English speaking management company with a 24 hour emergency contact number.

It is a no smoking apartment. No pets allowed.

About Rosalind

This is me on our balcony. We bought our apartment in 2007 as a perfect holiday home for our children-Rosie(11) and William(8) (2016). We came on holiday here and fell in love with it! It was by far the most pleasurable and easy holiday we had had with young children!

We have completely refurbished the apartment; from brand new air con to new white goods and TV/DVD and created a new roof top garden and included some of Rob's own art work! We have also started a library of books;lots about Majorca.

There is nothing we enjoy more than barbecuing local meat on the roof terrace with a glass of cava whilst the sun sets - whilst the kids sleep soundly! And on the question of sleep, it is absolutely silent at night!

I pride myself on a personal service by offering any extra help, both before and during your stay.

There is a brand new air-conditioning system which also serves as heating too. We have ensured that the apartment is completely suitable for children, as we have young children ourselves. We can also provide a travel cot with bed-linen at no extra cost. There is a wide range of young children's DVDs. book, toys and beach equipment. There is a monitor so that you can sit on the roof terrace with complete peace of mind. For the adults, there is also an extensive selection of DVDs; and mini discs. We have a library of books which contains books of interest on Majorca - from regional food to birdwatching! For safety we provide smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher & blanket kept on top of the fridge There is a choice of three places to eat within the apartment: 1. In the living area which has a table and 6 chairs. 2. On the balcony which is great for breakfast. 3. On the roof terrace where is a large round mosaic table seating 6. Outside: Our roof terrace is expansive - exactly the same area as the living space below. It has 360 degree views of mountain and sea and gets the sun all day long. There is a mosaic dining table which seats 6. Two sun loungers and a 4sq.m parasol. There is an outdoor mosaic shower which has hot and cold taps - useful for cooling off! We have created a roof garden with a lemon and olive tree and sparkly lights for the evening. There are two barbecues; a built-in charcoal one and gas one too. The roof terrace walls are just over 1 metre high, making it safe for children when supervised. It is also possible to sunbathe on the balcony downstairs which has a retractable blind to ensure privacy. The communal swimming pool, set in lovely gardens, is about 30 metres diameter. It is split into 3 tiers making it perfect for length swimming as well as toddlers wanting to splash in the circular shallow part. Sun loungers are provided around the edge. Utility Room: Brand new washing machine, another sink - useful for washing through sandy clothes! Mop and bucket, iron and ironing board, beach equipment, and cushions for the sun loungers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Towels, bed linen and tea towels are included in the rental price. There is no extra charge for use of our travel cot and highchair. Other: All 3 bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with coat hangers and bedside cabinets. There are metal shutters at all the windows allowing a dark and quiet night's sleep. A travel cot with bedding, will be set up for you in any of the bedrooms at no extra cost

Fantastic apartment! Brilliant location. Just fab!

We had a fantastic 10 nights in this property. The apartment is lovely and was perfect for our 18 month old baby. The location is ideal, a very short walk to the lovely pine walk. The swimming pool is also great. The owners could not be more helpful. We would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

An excellent family apartment.

A very clean and tidy apartment in a well maintained complex with everything that you would need. It was excellent having breakfast each morning on the fabulous roof terrace. An excellent selection of books, DVDs and music as well as interesting artwork are indicative of a thoughtful approach by the owners. The apartment is very well situated; close to the pinewalk and beach.

The owner was exceptionally attentive prior to our stay, responding promptly to any queries we had.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this very comfortable property to anyone.

Perfect holiday location

We stayed in this fabulous apartment for 10 days with our 3 children, ages 9,5 and 13months for 10 days and really didn't want to leave. It was a home away from home, so we'll equipped with everything we needed. We loved the roof terrace in the evening and breakfast on the balcony overlooking looking the wonderful pool.

The complex is very clean and well maintained, and feels very safe.

The swimming pool is great for children of all ages with slides built in and loads of inflatable toys available to use.

The little town of Port de pollensa is full of great restaurants and shops. We also took the bus into Pollensa a couple of evenings and found great restaurants in the square and very good value for money.

I would love to return to this apartment!!!

Great family holiday

We stayed at this lovely apartment for half term with our 4 children (1,3,8 & 9). The apartment itself was very clean and spacious and the roof terrace was a great bonus for relaxing, BBQ's and hanging all the wet beach towels. The kids also loved the roof top shower to get all the sand off after the beach. We used the pool everyday, great for young children and there is a deeper area for the old ones too.

The location is perfect. A few minutes walk to the pine walk and its quieter on the beach that end than nearer to the town so was never very busy on the beach even in half term. The sea is so shallow and calm for the children to play in, they spent hours building sand castles and catching crabs. It's a lovely 15 minute stroll along the pine walk to the main town and square where there are lots of great restaurants, shops and bars.

There is a café and shop in the complex which was very handy for fresh bread and food each day and very easy to just pop back from the beach for some lunch and they also make up rolls and baguettes to takeaway. Ros was great at replying to all my queries very quickly. Overall you can't go wrong staying here for a family holiday, it's just perfect, I really hope to return one day!

Beautiful apartment in fantastic location

We loved our stay in this apartment. Everything was as described and cleanliness was first class. The owner provided all the information we needed, with really friendly customer service. There is an excellent roof terrace to relax on with loungers and table and chairs. The pool area was also well maintained and very quiet when we were there, so it was no problem finding a free sun lounger and often the pool was empty. There is small cafe/supermarket at the entrance to complex which is so handy. We loved being surrounded by the mountains and the beach is only a couple of minutes walk away on the beautiful Pine Walk. Puerto Pollensa is a gorgeous resort with soft sandy beach areas, shallow sea in a beautiful bay with just the right amount of shops and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this lovely apartment and resort.

Everything you need for a family holiday

The apartment was great for us (me, my husband, toddler and my parents)- there was plenty of space, lots of dvds and toys to keep kids (and adults) entertained, and the location is great. A short walk from the sea front, a nice stroll along the pine walk to get to loads of restaurants and cafes, and its really handy having the shop and cafe on site.

Ros replied to my queries really quickly and provided loads of helpful information before we arrived in Mallorca.

I'd recommend anyone visiting Puerto Pollensa to have a meal at Bellaverde- its a vegetarian restaurant with fantastic food (everyone else in my family are meat eaters but they loved it too!) with a lovely courtyard and kids' play area.

Special interest holidays:

Our apartment is a great place to stay all year round. As Spain starts to come out of its recession, there are more flights now available in the winter months.The apartment is just in front of the Boquer Valley which is renowned for its bird watching. In the spring, the area is very popular with avid birdwatchers. Puerto Pollensa is also very popular with cyclists out of season - as the mild climate and mountainous terrain are perfect for training or pleasure. We have many Team GB cyclists staying in our apartment in February and March.

Coast/Beach:

Only 1 minute walk from the Pine Walk and beach. The Pine walk stretches all along the edge of the water into the town. The water near the bay is exceptionally shallow, safe and clear making it safe for children and perfect for snorkelling. Further out in the bay, there are plenty of opportunities for water sports and sailing. There are many beaches in the vicinity - Formentor is stunning and is reached by car in 20 mins (the drive itself is stunning) or by a glass bottom boat from the harbour.

Travel:

Palma airport is a very easy 40 minute drive mostly by motorway. There are inexpensive shuttle buses that run regularly as well as private taxis or car hire. Once in Puerto Pollensa there is no need for a car as all amenities such as bars; restaurants and shops are within walking distance. There are plenty of cheap local buses should you want to visit Pollensa. If you wish to travel further afield and do hire a car, there is a car park at the front of the complex Our café arranges car hire too.

Distances:

Two places to visit nearby that should not be missed are Pollensa which is a beautiful old town just 5km away. There is a great Sunday market and it is lovely to sit in the atmospheric squares in the early evening. Alcudia old town is also very pretty with its old walls and winding roads. This is just around the bay; a 10 minute drive. If you want the bigger tourist attractions, such as water parks, the bigger tourist resort of Alcudia is just round the corner from the old town.

Further Details:

A supermarket and cafe is located at the front of the complex and is open from 8am till 12pm in the high season serving great coffee and snacks all day and great tapas and cocktails in the evening. We are sufficiently away from it so that there is no noise from it at night. It also has free Wi Fi access. There are other larger supermarkets 10 minutes walk away, in the town. There several restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the apartment, mostly either on or just off the Pine Walk. The famous Illa D'or hotel is 5 minutes away. There are several banks in the town centre and a very large selection of shops. The local market in on Wednesday mornings in the main square.

N.B. Please do ask for the total price from me when finalising a booking, as the quote generated automatically by the website, is not always accurate, especially if the dates straggle over 2 different season rates.
25% non-refundable deposit is required within a week of accepting the booking. The remaining balance is due 10 weeks before the start of the holiday. This can be paid by cheque or by direct transfer to our UK bank.
A refundable security deposit of £150 is required and is added to the remaining balance and then refunded on your return.
A brochure is emailed out on receipt of the final payment.

Changeover Day:
From Whitsun till the middle of September, the changeover day is Saturday. For all other times, it can be flexible. Arrival time is usually 2pm. If arrival and/or departure date falls on a Sunday, there will be a supplement for cleaning as we are charged double. Departure time is usually 10am.

Notes on prices:
We have mostly kept our prices at 2008 levels.
