Over looking the Bay of Funchal with stunning ocean views these 3 one bedroom apartments make a perfect holiday home. Designed for couples, each property has privacy & lots of space to relax both inside & out, light streams into the living areas with sliding doors leading out to the large veranda´s with the pool below. They feature wooden floors & have fully integrated kitchens with granite work tops, king size beds & spacious bathrooms. All 3 apartments come complete with air conditioning/heating, cable TV in several languages, dvd, free wi-fi internet, iPod speakers & the property is in a nice residential area. Parking is in the street immediately outside, however with good public transport links a car is not essential, Airport transfers can be arranged. A complete guide to the Island & local area is provided with information on everything from finding the supermarket, restaurants, public transport walking and much more. Note: This property is for adults only.

Apartment 3 is the most recent edition to The Villa at Number 15 with 125 m2 living space plus large verandas it's situated on the top floor with incredible views over Funchal, the Harbour & Ocean. At the rear of the apartment you also have wonderful views looking up to Monte & the mountains. The open plan lounge, kitchen & dining area is beautifully decorated, comes with large sofas, fully intergrated kitchen & appliances with granit work tops. The bedroom is situated at the rear of the apartment, it's quiet, has ocean views & a king size bed, large wardrobe & the bathroom is adjacent, complete with separate walk in shower, bath, & double basins. Note - Individual photographs of this apartment will be added shortly, please look at Apartment 2 as they almost the same.

First Class All The Way

Do not hesitate if you are thinking about renting this property.....book it when it's available. Communication with Allison was easy with prompt response to all inquiries, even a transfer from the airport can be arranged if needed. We have rented many properties and this apartment really stands out as a shining example of what first class should be; Impeccably clean, exactly as described, everything in working order, quality fixtures and furnishings with a warm welcome and sincere concern that everything is as anticipated for an enjoyable stay. Easy to find and a short drive, less than 30 mins. from the airport with parking available. It's a fairly steep, but pleasant 15 minute, downhill walk into Funchal, but strongly advise a cab for the return uphill. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships from the terrace coming into the harbour, while we enjoyed a cocktail after a day of sight-seeing in Funchal. Although not necessary, having a car enabled us to visit some of the villages along the coast and to see some of the other exceptional sights of Madeira. Given an opportunity, we would return to Madeira and without hesitation would insist on staying at No. 15. Thank you Allison, Raul and Lourdes in helping make our brief stay in Madeira truly memorable.

Another amazing stay in paradise

This was our second stay at Number 15 this time we stayed in apartment no. 3 the top floor last time was in number 2 the floor below. I thought last years stay was shear paradise but this year topped it. The apartment views are even more stunning and the decor is every bit as luxurious as no 2 apartment. Everything you could ever need is provided for you. The bedroom is really roomy and very comfortable. The bathroom is very large and perfect with two sinks a bath and a huge shower, which is amazing. The views from the balcony are fantastic and with two sun loungers and a table and chairs you won't want to leave it. There are also loungers around the pool for your use and it is a lovely area to relax in. If you hire a car there is plenty of space to park inside double gates which make it very secure. We met Lourdes this year properly for the first time, she is the lovely lady who keeps everything spick and span for you. Nothing is too much trouble for her thank you so much Lourdes for looking after us. Louise and Raul are very special owners making you feel right at home and anything you need to know they have the answer. We spent 3 weeks of luxury and relaxation and are returning again for more soon. Give yourself a real treat and visit No. 15 for yourself. Thank you Nicky and Eddie

Fantastic apartment

This is a fabulous apartment, lovely decor throughout and spotlessly clean. The appliances in the kitchen are very modern and of excellent quality, the bathroom is very spacious and modern with a lovely oversized shower. Both the bedroom and lounge are spacious with lovely furnishings. The views from the apartment are amazing, it was great to watch the Cruise liners arriving and looked even more impressive at night time with their twinkling lights. Louise, the owner, is fantastic, she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area, offering advice on restaurants, shopping, taxi's, tourist attractions and anything else we wanted to know. There is also a wealth of information in the apartment itself. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to come here again.

Lovely Modern Apartment - Great Views

Modern apartment in the old town, Funchal. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. Lots of space, beautiful balcony with panoramic views over the harbour. Quite a treat watching the cruise liners come in as the sun rises!

Owner very helpful and is able to arrange airport transfers, taxis etc as well as giving advice on good restaurants!

Highly recommended - we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Lovely Modern Property - Great Views

Tastefully refurbished apartment in Funchal Old Town. Well equipped and spacious, this apartment has everything you need for a great holiday. Owner Louise is welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. It is easy to walk or get a bus into heart of the city. A car is not necessary, in fact I think it would be a nuisance! Louise put us in touch with "Manuels Taxis" who helped us a lot, since my wife has restricted mobility. Funchal itself is pretty but and has some of the best restaurants I have ever visited whilst on holiday (Don't miss "Beef and Wine" and afternoon tea at "Reids"!). We definitely intend to return!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung an herrlicher Lage mit toller Aussicht. Sehr nette Gastgeber, an die man sich jederzeit wenden kann. Ideale Lage für einen Fussmarschin die Altstadt, der Aufstieg ist bei warmen Temperaturen etwas beschwerlich, aber es gibt als Alternative Bus oder Taxi. Ideale Ausgangslage um Madeira zu erkunden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir werden wieder kommen!

This property is in a fantastic location, away from the typical tourist areas & only a 10 to 15 minute to walk down to the centre, it has some of the most stunning ocean & harbour views looking out over the city of Funchal. Once in the centre there´s much to explore like the Old town 'Zona Velha' with it´s many restaurants & bars, this is a great place to spend an evening. The Forte do Santiago & the beach complex Barreirinha are also near by with direct access to the sea, the water is crystal clear! The cable car to Monte & Monte Palace gardens are well worth a visit, take a trip back down to Funchal in one of the famous Toboggans it´s a really fun experience not to be missed! There is supermarket cafe & cash machine near by. For those without a car public transport is very good, a guide to the local area is provided along with maps & info on bus timetables, taxi´s, walking, Island tours, restaurants & attractions like The Blandy Wine Lodge, Botanical Gardens & golf, boat trips, whale & dolphin watching & much more. The property is only minutes from all the main roads to access the rest of the Island & there´s ample St parking.
