A comfortable 3-bedroom family villa with Wi-Fi, satellite TV and panoramic sea views overlooking the Bay of Alcudia and the Mountains of Sierra de Levant. Nestled away in an area of natural beauty with a little island and lighthouse 150m off-shore, an 8 minute walk to the nearest sandy family beach with crystal clear waters. Within easy walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the popular resort of Puerto Alcudia with its stunning yacht marina, long stretch of sandy beaches and wide variety of beach-side cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and amenities. There is an 18-hole golf course at the nearby Alcanada Golf Club which is recognized by a number of well known golf magazines/guides as one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe, including being named the best course in Europe for the past 4 years by a leading German Golf Journal. Alcudia Old Town, which is a short drive away, hosts a market every Sunday & Tuesday and some first-class restaurants & bars are to be found within its walls. The villa has a wonderful covered outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and the bay of Alcudia, a delightful spot to enjoy lazy summer evenings eating alfresco! About Louise Kay

I am English and have lived in the UK for the past 13 years, having previously lived and worked overseas for over 20 years in East Africa, the Middle East and South America. We visited Mallorca for the first time in 2003, toured the entire island and fell in love with the relatively unspoilt and more tranquil north of the Island with its spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. We purchased our villa in 2003 and it has become a second home for all of us, including our 5 boys and their wives/girlfriends, as we spend most of our family holidays there and always have a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. Especially enjoyable are the evenings spent out on the terrace, all the family round the table, a home-made paella, some good local vino and lots of banter!

We chose the popular area of Alcanada in the north of Mallorca because of its spectacular coastal and mountain scenery and because it is relatively quiet and unspoilt, yet within minutes, you can be in the centre of the popular holiday resort of Alcudia with all its attractions, endless stretch of sandy beaches, up-market yacht marina, lovely boutiques and fun-filled nightlife! We love the fact that its so easy to hop on the plane, (just a 2 hour flight London/Palma) and within a few hours be out on the terrace enjoying the spectacular views over the Bay and the mountains beyond. Over the past 12 years, we have enjoyed many an evening wandering around the tiny cobbled streets of the Old Town of Alcudia close by and dining in some of the finest restaurants in the north of the Island.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is just a 5 minute walk from the picturesque little beach and beach-bar in Alcanada, ideal for children. For keen golfers, the prestigious Alcanada Golf Club is just 1.5 kms away with its challenging 18 hole course right by the sea, overlooking Aucanada Island and its famous lighthouse. Cyclists can enjoy the challenge of the steep and stunning mountain scenery all around this area. Water sport enthusiasts can take advantage of the amazing sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities nearby. The Old Town of Alcudia is 3 kms away & holds a local market there Sundays & Tuesdays.

For those wanting a more lazy holiday, there is a 5m x 3.5 m private pool at the villa. The fully equipped kitchen means entertaining at home out on the terrace overlooking the pool & sea is easy, relaxed & fun!

Notes on accommodation: This spacious, comfortable and well-equipped villa has been very well maintained and looked after and there is a feel-good factor throughout, due to its clean & bright interior. It is ideal for a large family, or 2 families (with 4 children) or 3 couples wanting to holiday together, with a spacious childrens' bedroom (with 4/5 beds) next door to the master double bedroom & main bathroom, plus a further double bedroom & shower room/toilet on a separate floor ensuring privacy. It is perfect for a fun-filled family holiday with its fully-equipped kitchen, spacious entertaining & dining areas inside & out, lovely pool area and everything you need to make your time here relaxed and stress-free. There is lots of storage/hanging space in the fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms, as well as in the large integral garage, where bikes & other large items can be safely stored. The A/C units in all bedrooms provide heating during the winter months. No smoking or pets in villa. Outside: The outside covered terrace & adjoining pool area at the front of the villa is the perfect spot to relax on the comfortable terrace furniture/sunloungers & enjoy the breathtaking sea views day & night. Admire the most spectacular sunsets over the bay whilst sipping your sundowners or enjoying a delicious BBQ by the pool & eating al fresco. The private pool is 17.5m2, ie 5m x 3.5m; depth 1.3m to 2.1m with steps in the shallow end; it is not suitable for diving & care should be taken with young children at all times. The pool area is bordered by a variety of exotic palm trees which line the front of the property for added privacy & there is a small garden at the rear. The roof terrace offering panoramic views is ideal for catching the last of the day's sun. The large gated driveway with automatic lighting & the external shutters on the windows & patio doors offer added security. Splendid bougainvillea adorn the entrance & the driveway up to the villa. Utility Room: Part of the large integral garage is used as a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, fold-up washing line, iron, ironing board, spacious drying area, hoover and storage space. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Villa is cleaned & prepared for arrival and at end of stay. Towels & bed-linen are included in rental price. For a 2 week booking, an additional bed-linen & towel change at beginning of week 2. Additional cleaning services can be arranged at extra charge. Other: A/C and heating units in all rooms. With two bathrooms on separate floors and a large childrens bedroom with 4/5 beds,it is suitable for two families sharing. Large garage for secure storage of cycles and ample wardrobe/hanging space in all 3 bedrooms.

Perfect week at the perfect villa

What a fantastic villa!!! Contacted Louise regarding staying at the villa for ironman week so me and some friends could compete in the race and enjoy a holiday after.

The villa is lovely. Huge space, super clean and has everything you could need. Pool is awesome - we spent many evenings in it as it gets the sun until 9pm ish. Rooms are great and the views from the top balcony are breathtaking.

1 mile from alcudia town makes it very easy to pop out to the beach or for dinner but ensures the neighbourhood is super quiet when chilling by the pool.

Would highly recommend to anyone whose thinking of staying here! If I race ironman Mallorca next year I'll be heading straight back here trust me. Beautiful house, beautiful location

Another fabulous holiday at this villa

This was our second visit to the property and it was as fabulous as we remembered it a year ago. The property is as described, clean and well maintained. Louise is great to deal with and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending. We spent 9 days here and spent most of our days in the pool, early evening was spent on the balcony at the back which is a sun trap and perfect for sharing a bottle of wine (or two) before getting ready for a night out. In the evening we walked to Port Alcudia for something to eat and drink, we went on a boat trip to Formentor which was good and visited the waterpark in Alcudia twice. We are looking forward to coming here again, it is home from home and we didn't want to leave.

Lovely villa, beautiful setting,

We had a most enjoyable stay here, the villa is as it is advertised, the description of it & the location are very accurate,. Alcudia is easily accessible both by car, & on foot. The villa is placed nicely on a hillside over looking the sea in a tranquil residential area. everything we would have expected was in the villa & there was plenty of parking space in the street.

Louise is easy to deal with, readily available & prompt in her responses, for example the pool needed attention & the maintenance men were round the same day we got in touch.

Altogether a really good package.

Relaxing holiday in quiet location overlooking sea

The villa was exactly as we expected. Well equipped with plenty of balconies, the main one providing wonderful views over the sea. Property was spotless and well maintained and had everything all 4 of us (2 adults & 2 teenagers) needed.

Area is beautiful and has numerous sandy beaches and coves, either within walking distance or no time in a car. Some lovely restaurants in Alcudia - we liked the tapas at C'an Fuat and food at Celler Can Costa, although with good local produce at the nearby supermarkets we ate on the balcony a few times too.

With all this on our door step we had a relaxing holiday and will return to Majorca before too long.

I would like to add that Louise was very easy and pleasant to deal with both before and during the holiday. Not something that can always be said of other owners sadly. Thank you Louise.

Amazing sea views!

The location of this villa is perfect! A 5 minute walk to a small and secluded beach with a brilliant beach bar. There's two really local restaurants that I would recommend Restaurante 35 de Alcanada which is very good in price, with very friendly staff and Restaurante La Terraza which is more pricey, but definitely worth it, the food is incredible and you get amazing sea views!

The villa itself is very spacious on a quiet road. Big rooms and big bathrooms to go with them, lots of balconies to sit down and relax on. The pool is a fair size, which is pretty deep. To make more use of the pool, a pool cover would have been useful to keep the warmth of the pool in, as it was pretty cold when you first got in, and you had to get used to the temperature. The villa came with a very useful put together folder of different attractions you could go and see around the island. As we ended up doing one of the boat tours from that, which sets off from Alcudia and goes north, where it ends up stopping and you can jump into the sea! The floors of the villa could of had more attention to while cleaning as still bit grubby, but the rest of the villa was very clean and tidy.

Overall, a much enjoyed holiday, with a very lovely villa!

Regarding the pool temperature during your stay 4-11 June, the pool was slightly colder than normal due to unseasonably cold weather in May, and averaged 25/26 Degrees Centigrade/ 79/80 Degrees Fahrenheit that week, so our apologies if you found this too cold to swim in comfortably. We are glad to know that you found the folder of places/restaurants we recommend to be useful and I have passed on your comments regarding the floors to our cleaning team, but good to know that you found the rest of the villa to be clean and tidy. Lovely week in top class villa

The location of this villa matched the presentation with this villa having everything you could wish for from the stunning views to the cleanliness and spacious accommodation, with a choose of balconies or the poolside to catch the sun. Peaceful location, however only a short walk from the Spar supermarket and a couple of beach bars and a short walk in the opposite direction and you were in the Port with varied and lively bars / restaurants with some thing for everyone. We have stayed in many villas over the years and found this to be the best one to date (we always said we won't go back to the same villa or resort but this may now change!). The service we received from Louise from start to finish has been first class, Many thanks Karen and Family.
