We absolutely loved it, my wife cried she was that overwhelmed with the stunning views of the sea being so close hearing the waves it was so relaxing. The apartment was homely everything you need and comfortable and clean. "Stunning" what more can I say. Thank you.

Stayed 5 nights at the end of June 2016. Two bedroom apartment, 30 steps from door onto beach, perfect for those who want to get away from it all.

Absolutely no mobile reception from most networks as Praa Sands is in a small valley, which may be a problem to some, but wifi in apartment very good so you can get around this by using whatsapp etc. We didn't have a car, buses run every two hours from the bus stop behind the apartment to Penzance in one direction and Helston / Falmouth in the other, a taxi to Porthleven costs around £17.

Condition of the flat is very good, there was plenty of space for four adults with every kitchen appliance you need including a dishwasher. As we were fortunate with the weather we made full use of the south facing balcony / sun trap overlooking the beach.

At night the apartment is very peaceful (except for the sound of the waves) the beds are comfy; 1 double and 2 singles.

If you don't fancy cooking there's the cafe below and the Beach Bar next door does evening meals and a Sunday carvery.

Would definitely recommend this apartment for any kind of group except those looking for lively nightlife.

Very clean well maintained and equipped. Comfotable in an outstanding location.

We had as a family probably the best short break we have had. The location is perfect, actually on the beach. Near to the sandbar pub and above the cafe. The views were stunning and although the Beach was busy during the day. Early morning and evening was very peaceful.we had a great time in an excellent property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful views/ Unique location

I guess the online description does not do justice to this beautiful property and the location. It is bang on the beach and although above the beachcomber café, the apartment is very quiet. Views from the apartment balcony are spectacular.

Our aim is to provide comfortable, well equipped accommodation for our guests to have a wonderful carefree holiday in Praa Sands which is central for visiting the many tourist attractions e.g. Lands End, St Ives, Tate Modern Gallery, Minack Theatre and many more. The apartment is situated on the beach with fabulous views.

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The beach is a mile long and lifeguard patrolled from Easter to end of September. Very popular with families.

Travel:

Newquay airport approx 20 miles. Car hire recommended.

Distances:

Village post office/convenience store aprox. 10 minutes walk. Penzance and Helston 7 miles. Within half-an-hours drive. Falmouth, St Ives. Eden Project approx One-quarter hours.

Further Details:

Banks, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's Supermarkets in Penzance.

Changeover Day:
Bookings from Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10 am on date of departure.

Dogs are not allowed on Praa Sands beach from Easter Day to 1 October between the hours of 7am and 7pm. We do not allow pets to be left unattended in the property unless a pet cage is provided.
