Villa near Chiclana de la Frontera, Costa de la Luz, Spain - Peaceful Location Overlooking Countryside, 'meet and great' & 'welcome pack' inclusive in rental

The villa is set in 1200sqm, half of which is a grass garden with Roman style swimming pool (9x4.5m). The house has all necessary features for a great holiday: 3 double bedrooms; one en-suite: kitchen with all necessary appliances, large lounge/diner, some satellite TV, veranda, (100sq.m patio) and ample off road parking. The Villa is located in Hozanejos a small village a few minutes from amazing beaches, restaurants, shops; you won't be disappointed. We find ourselves stocking the fridge!, chilling out beside the pool! and looking out on the farmers fields and the Chiclana countryside (it is a great spot and it's hard to pull yourself away!).

I live in London with my beautiful wife and lovely two daughters! We spend as much time at our holiday villa and love the Spanish community that we have found in the Costa de la Luz.

Why Andrew Mccabe chose Chiclana de la Frontera

We love the coast line and the amazing Borrosa beaches that are 10 minutes from our villa door! The area has everything the holiday maker needs - bars, restaurants, great supermarkets and all the outdoor activity you can muster! The nearest airport is Jerez de la Frontera, only 40 minutes away.

Additionally this is a great family area, no tacky 'english abroad' bars, lager louts, just real Spain and all that goes with it!

What makes this villa unique

The villa is tremendous for the family, parking for 15 cars if you need it! Large garden and pool, that is lockable for those with very young families. We have all the amenities you need for a great escape, loungers, sat telly, barbecue, 100 sq metre patio - nearly everything you can possibly need for a great family escape holiday.

Guess most appropriate comment here, is that we have about half a dozen families who come to our villa year after year! Suggest this is because they get a great value family villa and pool with all the necessary mod-cons and can swim overlooking the Chiclana countryside...

Notes on accommodation: The villa is all ground floor and very suitable for young families as the garden and pool is all gated and can be locked for peace of mind! The villa is surrounded by fencing/tree lines for privacy and a lockable front gate, lighting is provided in most areas externally and can be set by the guests as they feel fit. Outside: Pool Roman style, 9 x 4.5 metres, private and looks over farmers fields. Loungers, seating and pool toys provided. Large gas barbecue and pool side furniture included. There is a large patio (100sq.m!) overlooking the countryside. You will find it hard to go off on trips as chilling out at the villa is just great.... Utility Room: Lock up/essential consumables with equipment for pool and games. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels for the house and bed linen are provided as part of the charge/rent, house fully cleaned after each rental period.

Fantastic Villa / Holiday

Another fantastic holiday at the villa came to an end :(

The owner has made several improvements over the last few years, re-tiled the pool, new covered seating area, near to the pool, free Wifi, welcome pack in the fridge when we arrived is a nice touch.

The villa is very clean and well presented.

We are all ready planing our next holiday to this villa.

Exploring the surrounding area still brings pleasant surprises, new places to go and to eat.

I highly recommend this villa to all :)

Superb, well equipped Villa in a peaceful location

Just returned from a great holiday in this superb villa with loads of space and a great pool. It really has everything you need and is fully equipped, like a home from home. Sat in big grounds, it is very private and secure with good fencing between neighbours. Welcome pack in the fridge to get you started and a local agent on call if needed. The villa is remote with views over Sunflower fields. A car is essential as the nearest shops are 10/15 minutes drive, superb beaches at Barrosa is 15 minutes drive where you will find beachside restaurants. If you want peace and tranquility this is it.

Great for families

We loved it here. The house is perfect for a relaxing holiday, but within easy reach of loads of beaches and towns. Our kids loved the pool, which is perfect for kids, as it has a great shallow end with steps leading into it. There are even a few inflatables floating around, so fun was had by all. We really appreciated the fact that it is a short drive to the shops, which meant that our kids weren't constantly harrassing us buy them ice cream:) All in all wonderful, and a house that has that many books for me to read has deserved 5 stars :) Would return in a flash

Special interest holidays:

There are plenty of large supermarkets and shops in easy distance of villa (a car is however a necessity) excellent shopping, health spa, golf, horse riding, great walks and outdoor sports spread across the Borrosa coastline!

Coast/Beach:

Beautiful world renowned Borrosa beaches are 10 mins away (car required) stunning 20km stretch of Atlantic beaches - that are as good as any you will find in Europe! La Borrosa has enjoyed the Blue Flag for clean beaches in europe since this reward was created; the sand is fine and clean, atlantic water is super, with decent sized waves and lovely scenic dunes; if you are a beach lover you won't go wrong!

Travel:

Jerez Airport 40 mins -Ryanair. Seville Airport 1 hr 15 mins Ryanair. Gibraltar 1 hr 15 mins Easyjet/Monarch. Car hire essential - excellent rates at carjet.

Distances:

El Colorado 2km. Chiclana de la Frontera 6km.

There are many day trips that can be organised.

Aqua Sherry (Water theme park) Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadiz) 17 fun filled rides, plus a picnic area. Day trips to Morroco; crossing on high speed catamaran to Tanger; full sightseeing of town, Kashbah, Zocco, modern town - with English speaking guides. Many excursions sailing out of Gibraltar and Tarifa; all marine life from dolphins, whales, sea life on offer. Jerez and the surrounding area is renowned for Sherry products; there are mant tours and excursions to take in this aspect of the culture; where the history and tasting is all part of the experience; there are many leaflets and guides at the villa for your perusal and enjoyment! Why not try horse riding at many riding stables nearby, sailing, surfing, jet skiing and many other water sports are in very easy reach.
