A sunny, warm, family apartment on the 8th (ski-in/out) floor of the Le Varet building, 5 mins from shops, restaurants, ski-pass office and ESF meeting points. It overlooks the pistes and resort, part of the huge Paradiski domain. Arc 2000 is linked to the rail terminus at Bourg St Maurice by a free (with ski-pass) 7 minute funicular trip up the mountain and free bus shuttles terminating 150m from the apartment block. Bourg in turn is serviced by the Eurostar snow train from London St Pancras and TGV and night sleeper trains from Paris. In the ski season there are regular bus services from Geneva airport to the resort. Budget airline fly/drive destinations of Geneva, Chambery, Lyon and Grenoble are all less than 3 hours away. In summer, ski lifts are adapted to carry bikes up the mountain and the Arcabulle chairlift, 15 mins walk from the apartment, goes to the very edge of the dramatic, spectacular and unspoiled Vanoise National Park, offering lovely walks amidst magnificent scenery.

Arc 2000 is snow-sure, the apartment is ski-in/ski-out.
The apartment is a family facility which takes paying guests to defray costs. It is therefore decorated, furnished and equipped to the standard we expect for ourselves.
We had a great time. We would like to go ahead and book your apartment again for next year. For convenience to the slopes, it is hard to beat! Rupert Hollom, Surrey, February 2012.
We had a wonderful time. Very nice apartment, excellently equipped and conveniently located. The eighth floor exit proved particularly handy. Chris Glover, Kent, February 2012.
Great apartment. We really enjoyed it. Andrew Leakey, Lancs, February 2012.
We had a fantastic holiday and thoroughly enjoyed staying in your apartment. It is a great location and I enjoyed not having to walk far in my ski boots! Sarah Bowen, High Wycombe, March 2011.
Thank you for being so helpful. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped and we got a great deal on our ski passes and ski hire thanks to your vouchers. Jackie Day, Salisbury, January 2011.
Thanks for a great last minute booking, great skiing!
Basic apartment, but perfect for our needs.
Rod, the owner, really helpful.
thank you to Rod and Fusia for another great holiday. we broke our journey at the Loft Mountain Hostel in Bourg which we can thouroughly recommend to get you positioned well for the short drive up to les Arcs on saturday morning.
we used Fusia and her team again for bedding, towels, end of week clean and mid week laundry service (great smelling laundry returned!) which just makes it all a holiday and is very reasonably priced and so efficient - packing next year will be even easier as we plan 2 mid week laundry services .
the only change we made this year was to take the Mont Blanc covered car park which was a bit more convenient.
Ski in and ski out were so easy and Bois de L'Ours still has the best atmosphere in the square.
So good we have just booked 2 weeks next year! thank you again for a great holiday - just seems to get better every year - the photograph on your site is exactly what we woke up to every morning.
looking forward to 2017, best wishes K and M
The apartment is well positioned for the ski lifts, restaurants and shops. Its comfortable and seems to all that you would need for self catering. Good use of a small space. Plenty of immediate hot water. Owner and concierge very, very helpful. I left some clothes and the concierge gave them to my friends who were leaving later. I was on my own so found it spacious, but I'm not sure what having 5 people in would feel like. Would have to be very good friends or family with 3 children. Only grip; no internet included, an essential for me.
A compact but a perfectly appointed apartment within easy reach of the slopes and the resort centre. Our family of 5 had a great time in Les Arcs, lots of useful information and help given by the owner Rod and everything we could have needed for a self catering holiday in the mountains. The only downside which some may say is an upside on holiday was the lack of accessible wifi.
Overall a great value option in a fantastic ski area.
Such a brilliant apartment and wonderful treatment from both the owner Rod and Fuzia. Due to forecast storms we decided to try and leave a few days early and phoned Rod to see if it was possible to stay in the apartment. He was most helpful and flexible to our needs.
We received very useful information in advance explaining the easiest way to get there, what to do on arrival and helpful tips as to where to shop.
The apartment itself was great for us, a family of two grown children and two adults. It was also perfectly situated for access to the slopes and for the nine days of our stay we skied directly out the door and into fresh powder, returning to the same door via powder in the evening. Easy access to the entire resort and even in the storms we were able to get up the mountain.
The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could need and many more gadgets besides. The only downside was the lack of wifi, but that actually turned to our advantage as we ended up frequent visitors to the bowling club which offers free wifi and had a great little bar.
Overall a brilliant stay and a really helpful owner and manager to take us through the process. We would definitely return.
We have just had a fabulous weeks skiing. With a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) the apartment is compact but works really well for self catering, eating out, ski in/ski out and access to a great ski area.
The flat had everything we needed for eating and entertainment. We got linen and an end of stay clean from Fuzia in resort which worked well.
We drove and (as recommended) stocked up at Super U in Bourg St M. We brought films on iPad which we played via HDMI socket on the TV. The storage is excellent with plenty of wardrobe space and ski rack/boot storage. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - the dishwasher made self catering more of a holiday.
We booked covered parking, ski pass and ski hire all in advance on-line with some savings and saving time in resort. The parking allowed us to take the car in and out during the week if needed.
We chose the Arc ski pass with a one day explorer to La Plagne area. Some sites suggest it takes a long time to get across from 2000 - but we were over in an hour and a half. We found more than enough good skiing around 2000 which also meant being able to get back to the apartment for lunch.
The ski in / ski out is challenging if the snow is starting to melt - but there is only a short walk (150m) to the drag lift or 250m to the central square. You can drive to the back door of the apartment block to drop off bags - but it gets busy at peak times and can get icy - maybe worth putting on snow socks/chains.
We would recommend it for a great self catering holiday in Les Arcs 2000 and already planning to go again!
