This 5* villa enjoys miles of sea view with sandy and pebble beaches just few steps away. Zaboric Bay has probably the best climate on the whole of Adriatic Cost. it is Sheltered from the open Sea by several small islands, and from the hinterland with surrounded hills. Very often we hear the news on the TV about the heavy Storms and rain just 10km North an South of us, but we had just cloudy sky and maybe just a normal rain. Due to this microclimate, our sea water is always at lest 2ºC warmer then in the other areas. Last year the sea water in our bay was up to 30ºC, and even at the end of September, up to 25ºC
Everything is at the walking distance, shops, restaurants, entertainment, beaches,
Stefan says: 'Everything was perfect. The villa is right by the beach with a very beautiful view of the sunset/sunrise. The rooms are large, modernly decorated. Slavko, the host, was very hospitable and helpful. Zaboric is a very quiet place but there are a lot of places to visit - Sibenik, Krka National Park and Trogir to name a few. We will definitely return to Zaboric and Villa Maria.'
Mrs Ali M. says: 'Today we are back home from a very nice holiday in your house in Zaboric. The very warm welcome of Mrs. Morovic and also the extras, such as wine, food, bread. etc. was a pleasant surprise for us. Also the young people in the beach bar were very kind to us. Thanks again!'
Alles sehr gut perfekter geht es nicht Danke
The villa is beautiful , it is spotlessly clean, the garden and pool area Immaculate and the views and sunsets stunning.
Slavko and Maria the owners are such warm , lovely people and great host. We were a family of 6 adults and
Slavko kindly arranged our taxi transfers and we used the taxi company all week who were very efficient. There are 2 small supermarkets within waking distance.
There is direct access to the beach via a private gate and you can do a beautiful walk along the coast.
The Shark bar is literally a short walk from the back gate and serves good food and drinks etc and there is also a pizza restaurant within easy walking distance.
We used the local bus during the day to get to Sibenik and Primosten and went by taxi in the evening.
Both places are beautiful to walk around and have a large selection of restaurants.
We also went to the Krka National Park by taxi ((20 mins away) which is stunning.
If you are thinking of renting this villa do it, you will have a fabulous holiday.
Shared this fantastic villa with 5 friends and just could not fault it. We regularly holiday together and this was the best accommodation yet, the photos do not do it justice. Huge amount of space, no arguments about allocation of bedrooms as they are all beautiful with their own en suites. Gardens and pool were immaculate, lovely bonus being able to pick as many cherries, peaches, salad and herbs as we wanted. Slavko and Maria were such attentive hosts without being intrusive at all. Couldn't do too much for us from the amazing food platters when we arrived to little treats like home made cherry strudel, Croatian cheese pie and of course a sundowner of Slavko's home made fruit grappa! The villa would be perfect for groups of friends like us, couples or an extended family group. Direct access via a private gate to the beach with the clearest water. A car is very useful to visit the local area and for shopping although there are 2 small supermarkets in the village. Must visit Krka National Park and Sibenik, both within 30 minutes drive. Would definitely return, but get in quickly as, not surprisingly, this villa is booked many months ahead!
As a family we had a fantastic stay at Villa Maria. Starting with the welcome pack - containing Slavko's own excellent wine - which was the best we have ever received, the villa and the hospitality of Maria and Slavko exceeded our expectations. The villa is very spacious and well designed and had everything we needed for our stay. Outside the pool and gardens were very well looked after and ideal for a relaxing day in the sun or to grab a dip after a day out. They even had a sea kayak moored off the beach which was great for exploring the immediate coast and the islands offshore. We were able to take figs and plums from the trees in the garden which was lovely.
The view from the villa is amazing and the sunsets were spectacular. There is a bar/restaurant, the Shark bar, close by which does good food and a couple of small supermarkets within a short walk. We had a car and visited Krka National Park (lovely but very crowded when we went), Sibenik, Split and Trogir (which was our favourite town).
Would definitely recommend Villa Maria.
We really could not fault this villa. The pool is perfect and well maintained while the beach is fun for snorkeling or just people watching. The standard of finish in the appartment is high and feels very familiar to us British as the frequent guests are the UK family of top hosts Slavko and Maria. Welcome food and drink exceptional. They live quietly downstairs but that ensures garden is perfect and all needs met. Village has enough going on but drive or bus for buzzing towns. Would go again.
This villa is sited in an idyllic location, overlooking the sea and islands. When lazing around the sizeable pool, one can take in the superb scenery. The garden is well-kept and attractive, with lawns, fruit trees, flowers and vegetable patch.
Inside, the villa is bright and spacious, with a large open space comprising well-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge; the latter having satellite TV, surround sound and stereo CD player etc. The 3 bedrooms are roomy, each having huge en suite bathrooms and sea views from windows and individual balcony.
The villa is a short stroll away from a couple of local supermarkets, and a similar distance from a couple of bars/restaurants and another bar. Or use the villa's own kayak to get there!
The villa is cleverly designed, so that although the owners live downstairs, it feels like you have the entire property. Slavko and Maria are delightful but very discrete hosts; they are there to help, clean the pool, maintain the garden etc, but take care to ensure that guests have uninterrupted access to all the facilities, including the comprehensively equipped bar-b-q kitchen/cooking facilities and al fresco dining area.
We have never had such a super welcome pack, not only because of the range of items, but also because platters of cold meats, cheeses, bread, etc had all been prepared ready for our first meal, along with wine, beer, chocolates and fruit.
We often chatted with them, gained tips for sightseeing and eating out, and were invited to join them for drinks on a couple of occasions, as well as being encouraged to pick fruit and vegetables for ourselves.
In all, our party of six were very happy and fully satisfied with this property. It is superb!
