About the Owner

Having worked in London for many years, my husband and I relocated to the South Coast to try and make a new life, to include specifically a better work life balance. We gave it 2 years to try and make it work, otherwise we were going to go back to Kent, and working in London. Fortunately, our 2nd year was better than the 1st, and we have now had a child, and thoroughly enjoy our new work life balance. Always thinking of new ways to invest our money, running a property as a holiday let seemed a good option, and with advice from people we have met along the way, we would like to think we've got it right, paying attention to detail, and the little touches that make a difference.

4 of us stayed, apprehensive that inevitably there was bound to be essentials that we'd need to bring with us (coffee, toilet roll, bottle opens etc) it was all there, saving us a small fortune and a lot of time wasting. Everything you need is there, literally a home from home

Lovely apartment - great location

It was a pleasure to stay in this is a lovely modern comfortable apartment. We found it very child friendly for our two year old daughter who also appreciated the dvds. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or the town centre - great to not have the hassle of driving and parking. Adrian and Sarah were very helpful throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Nice Location

Not happy with the key pick up, should be a keyholder to meet you at the apartment.Also apartment not as pristine as we were lead to believe . Pedal bin very small, outside bin store over flowing. Lounge short on size and comfy seats. T V. in a poor position. FRONT DOOR KEY very hit and miss, intercom not working. Shower in main bathroom has leaked at some time, so paint work is a mess.

Lovely apartment, couldn't ask for more.

I rented this apartment for myself and five of my female friends for 3 nights in June and have to say how pleased we all were with our stay at Hartford Court. Adrian and Sarah were very helpful when we had a slight glitch with the key; they were great throughout the whole booking process and answered all of my questions promptly. The apartment is very well presented, has lots of amenities and little extras such as dvds and board games which are a nice touch. Bournemouth town centre is about a 15 min walk away and the beach is also right on your doorstep. The apartment was lovely and quiet at night time and felt safe for a group of 6 girls.

Family Christmas

We booked Hartford Court for a family Christmas near the sea with a small baby. Despite terrible weather on Christmas Eve, we had a really enjoyable few days. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed - even a Christmas tree! It is a very easy walk to the beach and by Boxing day we were able to have some lovely walks into Bournemouth along the beach. There is a lovely bar on the pier for drinks or coffee and with the sun shining you could be in the south of France!

From the Owner

Hartford Court has the best of both worlds, from being close to the award winning beaches, as well as being close enough to the town centre for some retail therapy and great restaurants and bars. Further, Bournemouth is within easy access of the Isle of Wight and being within the county of Dorset, is close enough to the depth's of Dorset whilst still retaining benefits of a town.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is within 5-10 minutes walk, with easy access to the Purbecks and the Jurassic Coastline by car.

Travel:

As above, Bournemouth is accessible by road, sea, rail and air.

Further Details:

Bournemouth town centre is a short walk from the apartment, with all the facilities and amenities you would expect in a town, from restaurants to theatres and cinemas as well as local tourist attractions including the beaches.
