“Sunshine Haven” is fully furnished to a high standard with satellite TV, air conditioning in the bedroom and living area, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and a lovely balcony. The complex boasts a beautiful pool with a toddler’s pool beside it. There are sun loungers at the poolside, so you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds in the sun or you can relax and sunbathe on the expansive roof top terrace. Alternatively you might feel energetic and make use of the Tennis Court.

My uncle had lived in Cyprus for many years and when I finally got to go out and visit him, I loved the island so much that I bought an apartment. I'd always wanted my own place in the sun, so it was as simple as that. The weather is great and the people are so warm and friendly it's hard not to love it.

Had a lovely week in your apartment, just a shame couldn't stay longer! A definite high came when we arrived and discovered that I clearly hadn't read the description of the apartment properly and booked a 1 bedroom for 3 of us, but there was plenty of bedding for the sofa bed! I went with my son and my niece and since my son is in the travel industry I've had to take quite a bit of ribbing for my blunder as you can imagine. The only addition I would recommend would be a stand under the table on the balcony for the parasol.

I would happily recommend your apartment to anyone who only needs a one bed!!

Notes on accommodation: Please note that this is a NON-SMOKING apartment so please keep to the balcony when you're smoking, thanks. The air conditioning is preset and is operated via a push button timer switch, below it, on the wall. The door key & electricity fob are in the Key safe, located on the right hand side of the front door, the combination of which will be given to you on your arrival. Please use this facility as it gives you the freedom of not needing to worry about losing the key and finding yourselves locked out of the apartment, (If the Key is lost there is a replacement fee payable). The combination is changed at the end of every clients stay. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE COMBINATION as forgetting the combination, leading to the need to replace the safe, would be quite costly. If during your stay you should happen to forget the combination, the Rae of Sunshine team should be contacted and they will have a record of the original code supplied to you on your arrival. Outside: Each apartment in the complex has a designated underground parking space, "Sunshine Haven's" space is marked B19 15 The Tennis court is external to the main complex area and the key is in the Key safe. Unfortunately, at the moment, I have no tennis equipment available to you. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is done before and after your stay. Extra cleaning can be paid for via the 'Rae of Sunshine' team. Bath towels, (please don't take out of the apartment) and Bed linen, are provided and changed each week. Please bring / use your own Beach towels. Other: The living room leads out onto the balcony, through the sliding french-doors, where you'll find patio furniture which seats four and you can dine alfresco in the warmth under the stars.

Had a fantastic month here. Everything you need. Home from home. Had no problems and did not need to contact the property manager but had his phone number in case. Meet at apartment and showed how everything worked. The apartment was spotless. And well maintained.

My only problem was the walk to Kapparis as I have a walking stick and the roads are not very good. We got a taxi number and used them at night to get back to the apartment, most people hire a car but We like to try and walk or get a bus. The swimming pool and outside area are well kept. The cleaners every daywas cleaning all areas. We liked Wooden Crest for meals if not going into to Protaras. Kennedys is good for bingo on Tuesday and snacks, and if they have entertainment.

I wood not hesitate to recommend this apartment. It was great having breakfast and lunch on veranda and it nice and quiet., so no noise from pool and sun shinning

Had a great time and like to thank Russell and the management team of William and Jacky who when we were enquiringly about the apartment told us all we needed. Also deposit refunded in time. Also as we had a late flight was able to stay in apartment until time we had to leave for airport.

Special interest holidays:

Quite a lot of Scuba Diving schools offer you the opportunity to dive whether you're a total novice or a seasoned pro, but novices please beware, you shouldn't dive deeper than about 20m, (plenty deep enough to see an awful lot and have a great time), until you have experience and also make sure to leave at least a full 24hrs between diving and flying!


There are any number of little bays and beaches from Kapparis to Pernera going toward Protaras where you can sunbathe / swim / snorkel or you could venture further along toward Ayia Napa. A beautiful walkway along the coastline has recently been completed between Pernera and Protaras, which is particularly romantic in the warmth of the evening as dusk comes down.


Whilst it is possible to fly into Paphos Airport (approx 2.5hrs drive from the apartment) it is far more practical to fly to Larnaca Airport (approx 40mins from the apartment). If you haven't already booked Car hire via the internet it is much cheaper at the airport than it is anywhere else in Cyprus. If you're not hiring a car or don't want one for your full holiday then a taxi will cost you around 120 Euros each way or I can arrange for 'Rae of Sunshine' to collect you for a small fee each way.

Further Details:

I shall need your exact Flight details and timings so that I can let William & Jackie know when you are due to arrive and leave enabling them to book you into their busy Diary. You'll be able to make arrangements with them regarding transfers, or meeting them near Protaras, if you've hired a car or are in a Taxi, so they can guide you to "Sunshine Haven".

It's normal procedure for you to ring William & Jackie before leaving Larnaca Airport so they know your expected time of arrival at the apartment. If you get lost just ring them again and they'll guide you in!!

Also if you want them to put a welcome pack (basic grocery items such as Water/Beer/Bread etc), for your arrival, then you need to order it in advance and pay for it locally to Rae of Sunshine Home Services, at a cost of 20 Euros. Alternatively if you supply a shopping list they can shop for you, for a small fee.

1)Details on how to get to the apartment from Larnaca Airport

2)Contact details for William & Jackie of 'Rae of Sunshine'

3)The combination for the Key Safe
