This delightfully attractive Duplex Apartment within a block of 5, has been beautifully furnished throughout and equipped to a very high self-catering standard. The Apartment enjoys stunning views of the famous ’Carmelite’ Church, Valletta and Marsamxett Harbour from its own private sun terrace, whilst enjoying a peaceful location just a short distance away from the popular ‘Strand’.

The modern fully equipped kitchen/diner leads onto the sun terrace, furnished with table, chairs and sunloungers. Hours of sunshine can be enjoyed throughout the year….. or simply dine ‘al fresco’ and watch the amazing firework displays in an evening across the harbour during the festa celebrations.

Local bars and restaurants are just minutes away, serving tasty traditional dishes and local wines. The bus terminus in Sliema is just a 10 minute walk and provides a cheap and easy way to enjoy so many of the local attractions.

The apartment is located on the 5th floor and is serviced by both lift and staircase. Linen, towels and tea towels are all provided and the accommodation includes a laundry service for used linen. All cleaning materials are readily available. Ideal for single adults or couples. Not suitable for children, or guests with limited mobility. THE APARTMENT HAS A SPIRAL STAIRCASE LEADING TO THE DINING AREA. THIS PROPERTY IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING

Great location, private roof terrace, great decor. Couple of drawbacks, narrow spiral staircase to kitchen and roof terrace and no air conditioning, but there are 2 large fans. Owner was very easy to deal with.

Fantastic top floor duplex apartment

Superb apartment with excellent roof terrace and views across the Sliema harbour. Very close to all amenities and restaurants. Jill was extremely helpful with her advice and recommendations.

Trip in from the airport was painless as taxis always available, even after midnight. You will not be disappointed.

Very clean, well presented property in an excellent position

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment as it was clean, tidy and well equipped with lovely terraces to enjoy the sunshine. It was well positioned in Sliema but one street back from the front, so nice and quiet. Very convenient for the restaurants and the strand to catch the ferry to Valletta or for other travel facilities (hop-on hop-off buses, cruises etc). Great base to enjoy the island.

Little Gem!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Apartment for a week in March. We could not fault it or Jill the owner.

The Apartment was spotlessly clean, with lovely bedding and towels, we even had a choice of blankets or summer or winter tog duvets. You don't have that choice in many places.

Communication with Jill was excellent, she answered all our questions promptly by email or over the telephone and arranged transport for us with Wembleys,

the taxi company who were brilliant.

The Apartment had beautiful views from the roof terrace, there are also 4 other small balconies with different views.

The weather was dry and sunny while we were there which was a bonus. It was cold in the evening, but it was only March,we were prepared for that and took warm coats. The Apartment has 2 portable oil fired radiators which were very efficient .

The Strand is only 2 minutes walk from the Apartment, where there are excellent restaurants, our favourite one is Portopalo, we also found a lovely little coffee shop on the strand which was part of the Bayview hotel, the cakes were delicious .

The bus stops and the ferry stop to Valletta is on the strand only a few minutes walk from the Apartment.

We used the local bus a lot to Valletta and further afield.

We also did a harbour cruise and the north tour on one of the hop on hop off buses.

We had an amazing holiday and would recomended the Apartment to anyone.

Beautiful Apartment in very central location

We have recently returned from a week's holiday in Malta and had a wonderful time.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Sliema. ( the photos do not do it justice )

The apartment is very central, only 3 minutes stroll to the sea front, with lovely walks along the strand.

The apartment in on the 5th floor which is serviced by a lift.

Once in the apartment it is on two floors, the lounge, bedroom and bathroom are downstairs, while the kitchen/dining area is reached via a spiral staircase which then gives you access to a very large furnished roof terrace and also a small balcony with lovely views from both.

The apartment is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The towels were soft and fluffy and the bed linen was lovely,with a choice of two different tog duvets or blankets if you prefered.

You don't have that in many places.

As we stayed in March we did not know what the weather would be like, it was sunny every day, with temperatures of about 16/17 degrees during the day, the evenings were cold, so a warm coat is recomended. The apartment had 2 portable oil fired radiators which we used in the evenings. I also took a hot water bottle, it came in very handy.

We did not hire a car,it is so easy to get about on public transport,, we did a lot in the time we were there, we went to Valletta twice on the bus, then one day caught another bus from Valletta to Marsaxlokk which is a pretty little fishing village, well worth a visit

Another day we went on the hop on hop off bus and did the north tour which included Mosta and Mdina,that was very enjoyable.

We also did a harbour cruise which was very interesting, Malta is steeped in history and the architecture is amazing.

We found Sliema to be an excellent place to stay,there are some lovely restaurants, (our favourite is Portopalo on the strand) delightful coffee shops, the one in the Bayview Hotel did the most amazing cakes and for shopaholics there are lots of clothes shops including M and S and Mothercare to name a few.

We had a fantastic holiday, the people are lovely,the apartment was all that we wanted and more, we would certainly recomended it, the booking was so easy, Jill was so helpful, answering all our questions before we left, she even arranged our airport taxis for us, (she uses Wembleys, they were excellent)

Gorgeous penthouse apartment with stunning view

Dear Jill,

Thank-you so much for welcoming us to your beautiful home. My Husband and I were greeted at the airport by a lovely man who welcomed us to Malta and drove us to the apartment. Once there we found the building easily accessible and were blown away by the beautifully decorated two storey penthouse apartment with no fewer than FIVE, yes FIVE outdoor spaces.

We fell in love with Malta and agreed we would move right in if we could!

The views are stunning and we enjoyed cooking and eating out on the terrace as much as dining in the many good restaurants in the area.

We enjoyed trips to Valletta (twice), Mdina and a long walk to via St Julians to Paceville and back again - taking everything in.

Four days really isn't long enough!

We were so impressed with Jill's kindness and great communication which also enabled us to have a stress free transaction.

We would very highly recommend Jill and her property and hope to visit Malta again in the near future.

Although there are no sandy beaches in Sliema, sunbathing is predominantly from rocky platforms surrounded by warm rock pools, just a short walking distance from the Apartment. There is a small beach in St George's Bay, however more variety to the North of the Island, easily accessible by local transport. A short bus ride will take you to Malta's most popular beaches at Mellieha Bay, Paradise Bay and Golden Bay. On the approach Road to Mellieha a sign to Anchor Bay leads to a pretty little sandy bay and 'Popeye Village' where 'Popeye' the movie was filmed.


The Airport is approximately 15 minutes away. Taxis are readily available on arrival or can be pre-booked in advance with the Owner, fare payable locally.

In addition, Wembleys is a very reliable Taxi Company who not only provide a 24 hour service, but also guided tours of the island in their air-conditioned vehicles, 00356 2137 4141. (Fares are normally cheaper than 'white taxis').

Car hire is available locally and relatively cheap. (Be warned that the quality of driving may be a little erratic).


Ferries and Water Taxis depart from Sliema to Valletta taking just minutes to cross the Harbour. Alternatively, local transport travels all over the Island for, currently, just 6.50 Euros for a 7-Day ticket, available at the Airport or locally. 'Hop-On', 'Hop Off' buses are also an easy way to explore this fascinating Island and these travel both North and South. Check with the booking agent as many include a Harbour cruise with the day ticket.

Further Details:

There are many small shops nearby selling local produce, groceries and a variety of household goods. These are convenient for stocking up on essentials, however, prices tend to be higher than the 'Tower' or 'Scotts' supermarkets. Both are conveniently situated in the centre of Sliema, and deliveries can be arranged if orders are in excess of 50 Euros.
