This lovely apartment is located on the Golden Mile,one of Marbella's most prestigious areas, conveniently located within 5 minutes drive from both Marbella town and Puerto Banus. The urbanisation is also situated close to bus routes which only take minutes to get into either Marbella or Puerto Banus. The apartment is situated close enough to enjoy the night life of Puerto Banus and shops in Marbella but offers a more relaxed atmosphere when you just want to chill out around one of the biggest swimming pools in the area. Playa Casablanca beach is just across the road with sun beds and umbrellas available for rent. Try out one of the Chiringitos on the beach or take a leisurely 20 minute stroll along the promenade all the way to Marbella's marina.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for children of all ages. It is all on one level. There is a secure underground parking space (although ample parking exists outside the apartment) with lift access. No pets allowed. The pool is open Easter week, week of the May Labour day bank holiday and from June to the end of September. Outside: Very large communal pool with life guard in summer months Tropical gardens. Waterfall. Tennis court. Utility Room: Clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels included (not beach towels). Apartment cleaned before and after use. Cleaning is included in the price on the understanding that the apartment is left in a reasonable condition, otherwise a charge will be incurred. Additional cleaning during the rental period can be requested but will incur a charge. Other: There is a spacious balcony area for outside dining with a dining table and chairs.

Lots to Like - other things to know

Rather than repeat all the positive things listed by other reviews I'll just add what I'd have liked to know. So please read the other great reviews!

This is a gated residential development with 24hr security - it's really safe, just one way in and out. However this also means you cannot drink on the balcony late evening (we weren't rowdy) without being told (in Spanish) to shut up. The neighbours below will complain at anything - we were reprimanded for a few crumbs our six-year old had tossed in to some bushes. This matters as the booking form which you get after payment says you can be chucked out without refund (we weren't!). The pool hours are quite restricted, just 11am-7pm in September and if you're going in October or later you can't use that lovely pool at all.

The apartment preparation was rather half-hearted. The floors were not mopped and our feet were filthy in minutes. Cupboards and drawers had dust and old receipts. The owner is 100% attentive and arranged for the cleaner to return for an hour to sort the floors. We also found 5 different light bulbs had failed - again the owners sorted but it's surprising for a premium price place we'd booked for two weeks.

The owner Jeanne is English and her partner is Spanish. They are friendly, helpful and responsive. They helped my Mum out with hospital information which we were really grateful for.

The balcony says great for spacious dining - but there's only the pictured five chairs (we were eight). The kitchen is missing essential items like food containers and baking trays. The oven and hob are fine but the fridge is rather small (for a group of 8) and the kitchen itself quite pokey. The blinds mentioned in another review have clearly been serviced for the doors but not the windows. I was super careful but found the 'blue' bedroom blind progressive got stickier so I stopped using it. They could do with a service...

The walk to Marbella along the promenade must be one of the best walks in the World! But first you have a really busy dual carriageway to cross, from the apartment it's 6-7 minutes to the prom. The road alongside the apartments is quite noisy if you're sitting outside. Marbella and the whole area is overpriced compared to the other resorts closer to Malaga. We particularly liked Victor's beach (turn right along the prom, walk for a mile) - good vibe and less excessive price. Boardwalk at Marbella port has great happy hour cocktails (and food!)

Perfect location and very helpful owner

We were a group of 8 people (4 children and 4 adults) and we had a great time. A very nice location with everything you need within walking distance. The apartment has everything you'd expect and need. A new frying pan and a BBQ would make it even better though. The children appreciated a well functioning internet for their Ipads.

The owner was very helpful and flexible regarding arrival and departure.

Amazing! Highly recommended!

This is the second time we've stayed at this apartment, it's simply amazing!

An incredible location on the golden mile between Marbella and Puerto Banus, with everything you could possibly need within walking distance (supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, petrol station and a variety of excellent restaurants) plus only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. If you do drive, it's very convenient having a dedicated parking spot, it's also comforting to know that there's 24 hours security.

If you don't fancy the short walk to the beach, there's the lovely clean pool on your doorstep, which is family friendly with its own lifeguard; it's big enough for the kids to play at the shallow end and for the adults to swim laps in the deep end.

The apartment has all the amenities you could wish for (air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher etc). It's also beautifully decorated and spacious (with four bedrooms and three bathrooms). Having unlimited WIFI was an added luxury - we used it to discover local events and book restaurant reservations. An added bonus was discovering that you can change the language settings on some of the TV channels so that you can watch programmes in English too.

The owners are friendly, helpful and efficient. Thank you to Jeanne (owner) for making the booking process stress free and easy.

We would highly recommend the apartment, it really is everything you could wish for in a holiday home! We're already planning our next trip!

This is a fantastic apartment close to all the amenities Marbella has to offer.It had all we needed to have a lovely break in a complex with beautiful tropical gardens and a fantastic pool for the kids.Jean the owner is very helpfull and we will be returning again in the near future.

Security deposit loss, rude neighbours!

I never write reviews but feel the need to here as the owner has completely ruined our holiday experience. I find it ironic that scrolling through the reviews there has also been another person with the exact same complaint- getting blamed for breaking the shutters of the window and doors and being told they could also stay in the apartment for longer on checkout day when they actually couldn't and they would have got charged for half a day! The person who came to pick up the keys did not know any English and told us he would come back at 5pm to collect keys even though the villa was booked for someone else from 3pm! I was on holiday for 4 days with 7 girls. We are all 25+ mature women and left the apartment how we found it. We felt so awkward and uncomfortable from the minute we arrived due to the neighbour downstairs complaining to the owner of our villa about the kind of people she was renting it to! She was being extremely rude and looking at us in a threatening way. Then we were told not to make any noise and could the neighbour take our number. By this point she was on our balcony screaming and shouting at the owner in Spanish literally the second we entered the villa she was knocking on the door moaning and shouting. Not the most professional welcome we've had! Would not recommend staying here if u breathe loudly! That was a joke however we didn't complain and just tried to enjoy our holiday making not one sound of course!! Had no problems during the holiday however got an email from the owner upon our return to say she was taking money for the broken shutters that no one even knew existed and also... A missing lightbulb!! Like we would steal a light bulb!? Description of the villa definitely is not accurate was told it was a penthouse and a duplex. No point telling people to read the description properly when it isn't even accurate in the first place. Welcome pack was tatty and outdated. I could go on but I'll leave it at that. Just be wary of crazy neighbour, light bulbs that go walkabouts and the owner who it appears can't be trusted. We gave our deposit in good faith and have blatantly had money stolen from us. My friends and I are all disappointed and would not recommend this to any of our friends and family.

Owner's Response: I find it really sad when guests take to writing malicious reviews when they are asked to pay for damage they have incurred. Not only are these comments hurtful but simply not true. I would like to refute each and every one of the allegations starting with the situation with our rental agent. There was a language misunderstanding regarding the time of departure but as soon as my agent contacted me I phoned the girls and had the issue sorted out in minutes, I actually let them leave their cases in the apartment until 12.00 noon which is later than the agreed rental departure time because I try to accommodate my guests wherever possible. My agent did not tell them they could stay until 5.00pm because he knew this was not possible, Yes, unfortunately our neighbour did come up to complain about the previous guests when these guests were arriving but my husband managed to diffuse the situation quite quickly and at no time did the neighbour interact with them or give them threatening looks. At no point did I ask the girls not to make any noise or give their phone number to the neighbour. The review goes on to say that they didn’t have any problem with the neighbour during their stay which confirms that the matter was dealt with effectively and had no impact on the enjoyment of their stay.All I asked was that they respect the neighbours, which I don't think is unreasonable. With regards to me stealing money from them I would just like to stress that I only deducted the cost for the repair to the window and door blind which were both working perfectly prior to their arrival. I don't know why they are talking about a light bulb because this was never discussed. Finally, I would like to address the allegation that I falsely advertised my property as a penthouse or duplex. If you read the description of my property you can see that there is no mention of either a penthouse or duplex, In actual fact, before I even accepted their booking I pointed out that my property was an apartment and not a villa. I asked for confirmation that they wanted to make the booking knowing this and they agreed to go ahead. If I was deceitful would I have bothered to clarify that my property was not a villa? It's disappointing that people feel it is unreasonable for owners to recoup the cost of damage incurred to their property and try to hold them to ransom by threatening bad reviews. I just hope people reading these reviews compare these comments against the rest of my other reviews.

Fantastic accommodation and location

A great apartment, home from home with all you need. Size was brilliant for 9 of us including a baby. The on site pool was just a few miniutes stroll away and had a life guard however, this did not open until 11am but was open until 9pm. You are only a 5 minute walk to huge supermarket and restaurants along with the bus stops that take you into Marbella town or P.B. Would 100% choose to stay here again. The booking was made easy with constant communications with the owner.
