This 2 bedroom spacious maisonette is directly facing Fistral beach with amazing views and a super location for all the local amenities. Ideal for families, couples and groups seeking good clean modern accommodation with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is off road parking and communal gardens with your own patio overlooking Fistral beach. It is fully equipped: WiFi, LCD TVs, Sky box, DVD player - and a selection of DVD's, as well as a secure surfboard store. The Pentire area of Newquay is only a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre, harbour and shops. There is a small local shop and surf school only 2 minutes walk away. Dogs are welcome at a small cost to cover extra cleaning.

Why Nikki Nicholson chose Newquay & St Austell area

Having spent many happy holidays as a child in this part of Cornwall, I was thrilled to be able to have a holiday home directly opposite Fistral Beach. The views are fabulous and it's great being able to walk outside and be on the beach in a minute. If you enjoy the waves, the surf is pretty amazing too. Having the Coast Path on the doorstep is an added bonus - with miles of beautiful coastline to explore. It really is a wonderful location - and perfect for my dog who loves going on the beach all year round.

I love my beach house - and I really hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!

Beautiful comfortable amazing views home from home

We were in Newquay for our anniversary holiday, and we brought along our dog, and this was the perfect property for us. Not only was it pet friendly but it was also very comfortable and had lots of little personal touches throughout the apartment that we really appreciated such as dog bowls, dog treats, tea selection and pint of milk waiting for us in the fridge. And plenty of towels were lovingly placed in linen baskets for us.

The kitchen/dining room was upstairs and offered amazing views of Fistral beach. The bean bags in the dining room made for a lovely seat in the morning with a morning coffee and a bit of surfer-watching before enjoying a lovely power shower and then heading over to the beach which is just a two min walk away from the maisonette.

Perfect maisonette for a romantic getaway. We're already looking forward to returning next year.

Superb accomodation and location

I have stayed at this property four times now, I think, although it could be five times! We come back almost every year.

Superb beach side property, perfect location. The views are unreal. Uninterupted views of Fistral beach. I just love sitting upstairs and watching the surfers. It is so relaxing. The apartment is lovely,tasteful, clean and lots of added extras too.

The location is spot on - a short walk to the lovely Newquay town centre, a very short walk to the beach which is right opposite. The Llewyln pub/restaurant at the top of the hill is great, and the apartment is right next door to the Esplanade Hotel which has a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, so you can walk right out the door, pay £5 or whatever it costs, and then use the swimming pool ! Its a no-brainer.

A must-rent property. Love from Tim Kay and baby George.

Lovely apartment. Fantastic views.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is has a lovely kitchen-dining set up with lovely views over Fistral beach. We enjoyed watching the surfers from there. Bedrooms were very comfortable and nice new bathroom also. Location was really good: easy to walk over to the beach across the road, or walk into the town centre as well, if required. We had a lovely stay there and would recommend it to a small family like ours. Just note you must be able to walk up and down stairs, as it has two levels.

Fabulous location and great holiday base

This apartment couldn't have been in a better position for access to beach, town and walks. Surf school next door. Brilliant well equipped kitchen and lots of lovely little touches. Great power shower! Comfy beds.Nikki liaised well with us and deposit returned promptly. Will definitely return.

Amazing

Everything was wonderful! Amazing view from the flat, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The location can't be any better. The beach is literally across the road. What really added value to this holiday rental is the owner's care for those that stay there. Communication has been clear and efficient all the way through. On arrival, a box of local fudge and a card was waiting for us on the table, an email lying in my inbox checking if we arrived OK and if there is any problem. Any questions were quickly answered. A guest guide was provided that contains everything we need to know about location, history, attractions nearby, food, shops, restaurants, maps, vouchers etc. Excellent collection of DVDs and books as well. We had a very happy week there. The deposit was returned straight away.

Now that we are back home, my little boy still keeps saying: "I want to go to the seaside." We definitely hope to come back!

Special interest holidays:

Surfing lessons, surf/body boards and wetsuits available from the Surf School which is right next door! There is a secure surf board and bike store at the rear of the maisonette. This location is also ideal for exploring the Cornish coast, as the coastal path is only a 5 minute walk away. Fishing trips and canoeing are available on the River Gannel and are only a 15 minute walk.

Coast/Beach:

Only 1 minute walk to Fistral Beach - just down the steps opposite Pentire Court. No need for a surf cam, you can check out the waves from the kitchen, dining room or lounge!

Travel:

Newquay Train and Bus Stations are 5 mins by taxi.

Newquay Airport 9 miles (car rental and taxis available).

Plymouth Ferry 1.15 hrs.

Car is recommended for exploring Cornwall; although not essential for Newquay (and there is a Hoppa bus nearby for those Supermarket trips)!

Distances:

Newquay is a great base for exploring Cornwall. Watergate Bay and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen are only a 10 minute drive; with Padstow and Rick Stein's Restaurants only 20 minutes by car. Rock, Truro and Crantock, are all within a 10 - 20 minute drive away, with St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, and Lands End 30 - 45 minutes.

Booking Notes:
20% deposit is required when booking please. The full balance is due 1 month before your holiday with late bookings under 4 weeks, payable in full at the time of booking. An additional security deposit of £100 is also required when booking. This deposit is returned once the property has been checked for breakages or damage within 3 days of departure. Payment by bank transfer or cheque.

Please note: An additional £20 will be or international payments, in order to cover banking charges when returning the security deposit.
Changeover Day:
During peak season (July and August) the changeover day is Saturday. Throughout the rest of the year changeover times and length of stay are flexible. Arrival time is from 2pm and departure at 10am and is also flexible outside of the peak season.

Cleaning:

Please note, for stays of less than 5 nights there is an additional cleaning cost of £110 which will be included in the final price. Stays of 5+ nights do not incur this additional cost.

  • Outside: There is a patio area in front of the apartment, which leads on to a communal garden. Outdoor furniture is stored in the surfboard store. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the hotel next door, which is available to use at a small cost. Utility Room: Secure surfboard/wetsuit store, as well as a washing line and outside drying area at the rear of the property. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and bath towels are provided; but please bring your own beach towels.
