Hi my name is Linda and I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands with my partner Peter. We bought our apartment in Cyprus after falling in love with the beautiful country and friendly Cypriot people. Cyprus reminded us of Jersey with its beautiful beaches but with good weather all year round!

We chose Peyia because of its peaceful existence and its old world Cypriot charm. The village in walking distance of the aprtment has tavernas, bars and local shops. Yet just five minutes drive away and you can be in Coral Beach with its clear turquoise blue sea. You are never short of restaurants to suit all tastes at Coral Bay, including bars and nightclubs for the young at heart!

What makes this apartment unique

An exceptionally light and beautiful holiday accommodation in the Vanessa Complex with its landscaped gardens. Fully furnished to an extremely high and modern standard with a large terrace overlooking the pool complete with sunloungers and al-fresco dining. The kitchen is complete with all reqired facilties for a self-catering holiday whilst the living and dining area is very spacious.

We loved your Cyprus home and had a wonderful holiday. Good apartment, Nice complex

Very easy to get to & really nice apartment

complex has all you need & more.

Very near to beach and village with everything for a very relaxed holiday. If you want to get around, you really need a car, but bars , beach, supermarket, entertainment all within walking distance.

For a really great Greek evening walk up to the Savvas Grill on a Tuesday or Friday, Really good food & great entertainment with authentic Greek dancing & music only 3-5 minutes walk away.

A 20 minjute walk or 3 mins drive to Coral bay for all the bars & entertainment you could wish for. NOT a big tourist trap, ideal for a quiet family or couples holiday. Great bars & restaurants like KLEOS, KIKKOS, LEKANTOS, CHALKIES & RENEGADE. Our favourite for Chinese or Indian was the GOLDEN TEMPLE. Really good food & great service with very friendly staff.

Overall; If you need a relaxing, friendly, satisfying place to stay, go to Cyprus for a really friendly welcome. You won't be disappointed !!

Well equipped clean apartment.

Stayed here with my mother to use as a base. We found it peaceful and enjoyed the lovely pool area when we returned each day. The local taverna Savvas Grill was with walking distance, the staff were friendly and the food very good. Thank you for the lovely stay 🙂

Comfortable, well maintained apartment in wonderful holiday complex

The apartment is on ground floor overlooking a very large outdoor pool and well maintained grounds. During our 'winter' stay weather was sometimes cool and cloudy so use of heated indoor (albeit small) pool, gym and sauna was particularly welcome. The air-conditioning system provided fast and reliable heating at no extra cost. We appreciated all the facilities of the apartment including fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, provision of all linen and towels, with substantial balcony outside living room and bedroom. We also appreciated instant help from owner when some clown in the complex had turned off our water supply! If you wish it, TV can be provided with almost every conceivable paid-for channels in English language, including provision of fairly recent films, at a cost comparable to that in the UK. Internet access, inc. WiFi is extra but relatively modest in the apartment, but is free in the outdoor area. If more than 2 people staying, access to bathroom is only through the main bedroom.

The surrounding area near to the village of Pegeia (Peyia) is very quiet and peaceful but close enough to shops, banks etc if you are reasonably fit and active. Savvas, the very nearby restaurant, is excellent but not expensive. The beach of Coral Bay is undoubtedly the best in the area but access is easiest by car. The Akamas peninsula and Akavas gorge, both relatively remote and oustanding areas of natural beauty are accessible in part by car, but would really need either quad vehicles or mountain bikes to access the further reaches and/or more bumpy roads, including Lara beach's turtle reserve, a truly magnificent and remote beach, completely devoid of the usual tourist distractions. The Greek, Roman and byzantine ruins in and around Paphos town are outstandingly interesting, beautiful and well managed, with yet more still being discovered and restored. 2017 witnesses Paphos' year as European Capital of Culture, bringing with it many interesting exhibitions, plays, concerts etc. in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues. English language is very widely spoken throughout this part of Cyprus and the local people are particularly friendly and helpful while never pushy or intrusive.

A great holiday for us at an unusual time of year. We've been before and intend to return later this year.

Lovely apartment

We arrived late, a small light was left on, felt so homely, and welcoming, just a little touch but meaned a lot, apartment very well equipped had everything you needed, right down to toilet rolls. Beach towels, towels, washing up equipment. The complex has 3 swimming pools, gym, and table tennis, lots to do in the area. Would recommend for a couple of people . Thank you for the stay .

The apartment is well furnished and equipped and very clean. The resort is quiet with excellent facilities. When taking into account the price, if you're looking for a one bedroom apartment in Peyia you couldn't do better. Highly recommended.

With beautiful Coral Beach just five minutes away by car, besides its clear turquoise water and white sandy beach, the area offers a variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. A marina is soon to be built in the Peyia area.

Travel:

Paphos Airport is just forty minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended or taxi transfer can be arranged.

Distances:

Peyia village just five minutes walk away offers local shops, supermarket, bank with ATM machine, tavernas and pubs. You are just five minutes drive from Coral Bay beach and restaurants and twenty minutes to Paphos town with its beautiful harbour.

Further Details:

Peyia still holds onto its strong Cypriot values. The original village, church and coffee shops with its meandering streets dominate the village centre where people pass the time of day. Surrounding villages such as Tela, Kissonerga, Chlorakas and St. George are all similar interesting places to visit. The local village shops seem to always be open in the village. The smell of fresh bread from the bakery and the meat cut to order at the local butchers, along with the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables at the local supermarket compliments this wonderful way of life. The views when walking down from the village are breathtaking! A visit to 'The Grande' a local taverna in the midst of the village to quench your thirst and a taste of local cuisine or try Savvas Grill with local Cypriot cuisine and join in the Cypriot dancing! Inevitably a car is a must in Cyprus to visit the beautiful surrounding beaches of i.e. Paphos, Larnaca, Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Cyprus offers golf, water sports, horse-riding, fishing, mountain-biking, jeep safaris, tennis, Winter sun breaks and good nightlife.
