Fabulous views over both bays in a quiet residential area but with restaurants, a cocktail bar and shop close by.

No.1 Lâle Apartment (formerly Ada Apts) is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard in neutral shades, the property offers a modern and comfortable home from home comprising of open-plan living/kitchen/dining room, a bright and airy bedroom and a large bathroom. The windows are double glazed and the bedroom and living area both benefit from air-conditioning units. Outside the apartment has a private terrace with an umbrella, and table with 4 chairs. There is a large shared swimming pool and sun terraces with ample sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a large roof terrace with barbecue and kitchen area, w/c and tables, chairs and umbrellas with lovely views over the harbour and Kalamar Bay. There is a small shop next door selling basic provisions including water, milk, fresh bread etc and the nearest restaurant is only about 50 metres away, allowing easy self catering or eating out close to home if preferred, although the village centre is only a 10 minute stroll away

The location of this apartment is perfect. It was very clean and had everything you need. Pool was lovely. 1st class service from muhamett the maintenance man. Very helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you penny.

great apartment with all u needed

Our 2nd time in this apartment block and both apartments we had are ideal and close to all amenities. Plenty of restaraunts close by to enjoy lovely food, especially The Brothers which is opposite. 15 minute walk into the town. Pool at apartment lovely and clean and the roof top has fantastic views. We will be going back

Another great holiday ....

This was our fifth visit to Kalkan and Lale 1 is in an ideal position within walking distance of the fantastic town. The apartment and pool area are very clean and well maintained, with plenty of outdoor space and sunbeds. There are now a few restaurants and bars in the area if you do not want to stray far but it is very peaceful at night and the views from the rooftop (with a glass of wine) are great. Having a small supermarket close by is great for fresh bread daily for breakfast or lunch on the patio but although we have good intentions of cooking we usually end up "eating out" in this foodie paradise.

An awesome holiday in Kalkan,Turkey!!!!

We had a fantastic holiday in Kalkan, the apartment was very clean, comfortable and all amenities very well maintained-great to have a good sized private pool. Everything we needed was easily accessible with fantastic shops, restaurants, bars and the beautiful beach within walking distance. The property manager and car hire people were very friendly, helpful and informative, which made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable - they made sure we got the best out of our stay. We are already recommending this area of Turkey and the apartment to our friends and we will definitely be going back next year and for a longer period of time, a week was not enough!! One of the best holiday destinations we have been to in years!! Thank you to Penny and all the lovely people of Kalkan!

A lovely apartment with a lovely clean pool.

A good position along the Kalamar Road. Some excellent bars over the road - food is all great. The pool is lovely and clean. Handy shop next door. Very quiet when we were there. Apartment clean and well maintained. The Manager Mohammed was very helpful - our water dispenser stopped working while we were there and he came within the hour to replace it. We have been to Kalkan lots of times before and we still love it - so many places to eat - never had a bad meal there. The beach is beautiful too. We are definatley going back.

Just what the Doctor ordered!!

Having had such a lovely holiday in Kalkan last year, it wasn't a difficult decision to make about returning. We usually try different venues each year for our holiday but not only did we decide to come back to Kalkan, we also stayed in the same apartment as last year as it had ticked all of our boxes!

Although near a busy road, it was not an issue for us. In fact it helped with everything being so accessible. You can walk to the nearest beach, lovely restaurants close by as well as a supermarket. The friendliness of everyone we met was genuine even remembering us from last year & giving us a lovely welcome!

The Lale apartment was clean, very well maintained and comfortable. From the moment of booking, Penny ensures that our holiday runs smoothly, the transport she arranged for our journey from the airport was very professional, our welcome from her Manager on arrival and a very informative handbook answering anything you would need to know. I would have no hesitation on rebooking!

Activity and Interests

Kalkan has a small pebble beach which is a 15 minute walk away. Kaputas beach is a 10 minute drive, this is a beautiful but small beach with no facilities and around 100 steps down.

Patara beach is around 15 minute drive away, this is a stunning sandy beach that goes on for miles. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for hire in certain areas and there is a small snack bar. There is a 5TL admission fee due to it being part of an archaeological site.


The nearest airport is Dalaman and the transfer takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes by car. Kalkan can also be reached by Antalya airport and transfers from here take approximately 3 hours. There are several reliable local companies for airport transfers and I can give further details if required. Car hire is available but not necessary as the apartment is in easy walking distance of all Kalkan's amenities. For travelling further afield there are regular bus/dolmus services and taxis.


The apartment is a 10 minute walk into the village centre and 15 minute walk to the harbour. There is a small shop next door and the nearest restaurant is around 200 metres away. The nearest towns are Kas approximately 27km and Fethiye approximately 85km.

Further Details:

Kalkan is an attractive fishing village with narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed bougainvillea covered buildings. There is an attractive harbour where many an hour can be spent with a cool drink watching the boats coming in and out. The village boasts over 100 restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, many of which are on rooftop terraces overlooking the harbour and islands beyond. Although there is a small pebble beach, Kalkan boasts several beach clubs, these are purpose built platforms with steps into the sea and have sun loungers and umbrellas to hire, many have restaurants and bars and some also have canoes, water trampolines ringos etc, some are quiet and relaxing and others more lively. If you wish to venture further afield there are several companies organising trips to places of interest. It is also easy to hire a boat and crew for a lazy day at sea, either privately or as part of a group, just speak to the boatmen in the harbour.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has 2 air-conditioning units both of which can be switched to heaters if necessary. All the windows are double glazed and have insect screens fitted. There is a large water storage tank with pump for use in the event of water shortages or low pressure. No smoking in the apartment please. Outside: The apartment is set in attractive and well maintained, mature gardens with a good sized shared swimming pool and a small children's paddling pool, surrounded by sun terraces with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a large shared roof terrace with barbecue, kitchen, wc, tables, chairs and umbrellas. The apartment also has its own private terrace with an umbrella, table and 4 chairs. Utility Room: In the utility area there is a washing machine and several large storage cupboards containing iron, ironing board, clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned twice weekly, this includes changing bathroom towels and bedlinen.
