Modern 3 bedroom apartment, situated in the magical and ancient town of Kotor, in a quiet location by the 9th Century South Gate of the City. Stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor, right on the waterfront. Unique to Kotor the apartment enjoys the benefit of a spacious garden, in a premium position, which is perfect for outdoor dining, sunbathing and relaxing with views of the Bay of Kotor, mountains and Marina. It has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/lounge.
For those people who want to have a good time in the most popular cafes and restaurants in Kotor, the apartment is excellent choice. On the other hand, the apartment is more than suitable for people who need some peace and quiet, regarding that the apartment is looking back to a peaceful garden under the St.Giovanni fortress. Conveniently nearby are the supermarket, restaurants, bakery, pharmacy, post office and fresh food market.
The apartment were a truly fantastic place to stay during our visit to Kotor. The rooms are clean and spacious and have excellent views over the harbour. The hosts could not be more welcoming hosts and made us feel incredibly relaxed and happy in their home. The opportunity to rent bicycles/kayaks is also invaluable and I would recommend anyone visiting the apartment to take the opportunity to do so - kayak is definitely the way to see the area!
Stayed in this apartment for 16 nights. Kotor is breathtakingly beautiful and the location of this apartment is ideal. However, we were disappointed in the accommodation. We paid more than we had initially budgeted for because we needed a property suitable for a person with walking difficulties and the photo of the outside shows only 5 steps with a handrail. There are, in fact, 20 steps, 15 of which have no handrail. One member of our party really struggled with access and egress. THE SITE NEEDS TO STATE THAT THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTIES. Also, this apartment is billed as being 'luxury'. The inside is pleasant and comfortable but not luxurious. There was insufficient hanging space for clothes, a number of bulbs were broken, there was no stopper for the bath, and there were no instructions for working the T.V. The outside kitchen is a wonderful concept (the stone table is amazing) and we would have enjoyed it more if it had been cleaner, more hygienic and better maintained.The canopy/awning was dirty with many cobwebs and two of the rings on the cooker did not work. After rain, puddles of water remained on the terrace long after everything else was dry. We did not meet the owner but her representative, Mel, was very friendly and helpful. For those who value their privacy, this apartment is unsuitable because a business is being run from the garden leading to the terrace, meaning that customers are arriving at all times of the day. Overall, we loved Kotor and Montenegro but felt we were short-changed by this accommodation.

The apartment was very spacious and in s great position. The outside space was lovely to sit in and watch the world go by. We were met by slobie s nephew shot told us everything we needed to know and he took us out on a boat trip around the bay, which was so beautiful.
Kotor is a lovely town with excellent restaurants, beautiful walks and a short drive to pretty beaches.
We all so enjoyed our stay and felt very at home here with the beautiful weather and the magnificent scenery, going to the fresh food market, picking grapes and relaxing in the garden with views of the Kotor Bay.
I would recommend hiring boat or the boat trip to see the Bay properly including the Blue Grotto and the two church Islands at Perast. Also the climb to St Johns fortress in Kotor itself is a great way to take in the view.

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment was clean and spacious and the building is in the best location possible, a few steps away from the Old town and a 5 min walk to the buss station.
We loved the terrace and a possibility to cook outdoors and Slobie is very charming and welcoming. We will definitely return.

The location of this property could not be more perfect. Just a few metres from the south gate into the old town, and right over looking the harbour, absolutely stunning views from all of the bedrooms! Plus a supermarket next door.
A few things to note: there is only air con in the living room; the wifi can only be accessed from one bedroom and that end of the hall (not the other bedrooms or the living room!); the DVD player doesn't play UK DVDs; while the apartment might sleep 9, the sitting room only seats 4; there are no bins in the whole of the house (only one outside)!
There isn't any parking at the apartment. You can park in the supermarket which costs 50 cents an hour. There is a small space with free parking opposite, but otherwise it's a 5 or so min walk.
The only other thing that was less than perfect was that the lady who met us spoke no English. This made it difficult to find out the information we needed, such as the wifi password, where to park, how to switch on the hot water, where to take our rubbish, what we could recycle etc. None of this was available in written format either - I had a number of conversations over the phone with the lady's grandson trying to describe things, or passing messages to his grandmother from me, but mostly we had to find things out by guesswork.
but mostly a lovely apartment, and a great place from which to explore Kotor and Montengro. I can definitely recommend the takeaway barbecue Tangya opposite.
Coast/Beach:
Waterfront Location/short stroll to the local beaches
There are many excellent sandy beaches less than 20 minutes drive away, Jaz beach over in Budva and Mirista, Zanjice, on the Lustica peninsula near Rose.
Travel:
Tivat airport 5km/10 min. (Easy jet, Jat via Belgrade, Montenegro airlines Thomson in summer). Dubrovnik airport 71km/1.5 hours (Jet2, BA, Monarch, Croatian, many airlines). Podgorica airport 80km, Bar port (ferry to Bary in Italy) 75km.

The apartment is available for weekly lets (shorter stays and long lets are subject to availability). This is a no smoking apartment. No pets. Free parking is available just outside the South Gate or there are several pay and display car parks just outside the Old Town. On arrival in Kotor, you will be met by lady who will show you to your apartment. Please advise of any travel delays as soon as possible.
