Apartment in Victoria Court 2, Los Cristianos, Tenerife, Canary Islands - Close to Sea & Town Centre, No Hills to Climb!

Situated just one block inland from the coast, our extended property provides spacious accommodation for up to 4 people. The complex has a beautiful pool with special children's section, is heated in Winter and surrounded by subtropical plants. Adjacent to the pool is a convenient bar and restaurant open every day with meals at reasonable prices. It has a TV for all those sporting programmes, which makes for a great atmosphere!

Why Martin Watt chose South Tenerife

Tenerife offers the benefit of all year round sunshine yet is less than 4 hours away by plane. We can leave Gatwick at breakfast time and be enjoying lunch on our sunny balcony soon after midday. The people on the complex are very friendly - several have decided to make their homes permanently on the island and will offer help and advice on anything you need to know.

The island itself is diverse and beautiful with a rugged mountainous interior, lush green northern coastline and sun drenched southern coastline. There is so much to explore both on land and by sea making Tenerife an ideal holiday resort.

What makes this apartment unique

The complex is clean and well tended with pretty gardens and a lovely pool as the centrepiece. Although the properties are older than some in Los Cristianos, they benefit enormously by their excellent location. They are built more or less at sea level and so everything is within walking distance with no hills to climb!

Notes on accommodation: Our agents are on site 6 days a week so any problems or queries can be dealt with at once. Outside: The main balcony overlooks the pool, beautifully landscaped gardens and restaurant area. The balcony, which gets the sun from early morning to mid-afternoon, has two comfortable sunbeds on the main balcony where you can sunbathe all day with the free sunbeds provided. There is also a patio table & chairs for guests to enjoy breakfast, and your meals outdoors. At the rear of the property is a smaller balcony off the main bedroom. This catches the evening sun in Summer, offers views of the sea and mountains and has a small table and chairs. There are clothes drying racks on each balcony. Wi-Fi available around the pool area and on the main balcony. The pool area has ample sun loungers and the well maintained pool, with a small children's paddling pool, is heated in the winter. The sun loungers are available for a small charge along with some parasols. On street parking is available directly outside the complex with no charges. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedlinen, towels (except beach towels) and tea towels are provided and changed weekly. The property is cleaned before your stay and again when you leave. Please bring your own beach towels. Other: The second sitting room has a dining table and 4 chairs plus a sofa. It can be used as a quiet reading room, dressing room or dining room. There is Safety Deposit box in the main bedroom cupboard, & there are 2 portable room fans for your use.

The complex is approx 10 minutes walk from the nearest beach. It is well kept, the swimming pool is beautifully clean and the sunbeds are practically new. There is a restaurant and bar within, serving good and reasonably priced food and drinks. We had stayed at this apartment before and it was a pleasure to return. The apartment has been refurbished - very comfortable large bed, nice balcony furniture and generally clean and homely. The lounge and balcony face east which makes it so nice to breakfast in the sunshine. (the sun will stay until about 4.00pm -November- ) The kitchen is user- friendly and well equipped. There is a separate dining room which we did not use as we preferred to eat "al fresco" on the balcony. How nice that was! The complex is generally peaceful and quiet which suited us just fine.

Great location but not for families

Arrived and had to climb over 50 steps with heavy cases, child's buggy etc to enter the apartment which isn't great when travelling with a small child or if you have any mobility issues. The apartment is very comfortable and homely and has lovely views of pool etc, only things missing are AC and Wifi which you can get but we had to pay 21 euros for 1 device which only worked on the balcony. The complex itself is in a great location, 5 mins to the front, no steep hills to climb but there is a small hill to climb up from the shops etc. Although there is a children's pool the residents there are mainly of a older age (there are mobility scooters parked all around the complex) and children were being asked to be quiet when playing in the pool, there are also no inflatables, balls or any form of toys allowed in or around the pool and you have to pay 2 euros per sunbed to hire for the day. We tended to either spend the day at the beach or go to our friends complex in Costa Adeje which was a lot more family friendly and relaxing. We would return to Los Cristianos but not to this complex

The property, unlike many newer developments, is built virtually at sea level. The smaller beaches and popular Sunday market are about 2 minutes walk away. The main town of Los Cristianos is about 10 minutes gentle stroll away. The larger beaches are also about 10 - 15 minutes walk away.


The main airport of Tenerife South is about 15 minutes drive away. There are plenty of taxis and a good bus service to Los Cristianos so you can enjoy a wonderful holiday without hiring a car. If, however, you wish to explore the island, there are plenty of car-hire centres close by. Coach and boat trips are also easy to arrange.


Playa de las Americas with its glittering night life, is about 10 minutes taxi ride away. The capital, Santa Cruz, can be reached by bus in about 50 minutes. The north of the island and the wonderful mountainous regions in the centre, are best explored by car. The volcanic crater of Mt Teide, the old city of Oratava and the wonderful animals in Loro Park should not be missed.

Further Details:

There is no shortage of fabulous places to eat and drink, all within walking distance of the apartment. All tastes and budgets are catered for. Gift shops, clothes shops, perfumeries, banks, garages and supermarkets are all within walking distance. The Sunday market is just 2 minutes away and is not to be missed but go early (before 9am) to avoid the rush!

Changeover Day:
Change over days are flexible where possible. The apartment is available from 4 pm and must usually be vacated by 10.00 am to allow for cleaning etc.

Notes on prices:
Prices for the property (in UK pounds) are from £320.00 per week for 2 people, and from £350.00 per week for 4 people.
Christmas & New Year periods (booked as one booking) are from £400.00 per week.
Long Winter lets of 4 weeks or more are available from £275.00 a week.

We request a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week requested to secure a booking, and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
Payment by cheque is preferred.
