Villa in Fayence, Var, Provence - Only a Short Walk from centre of Fayence Village with All Amenities

Woodlands is not the usual holiday rental. Beautifully furnished, exceptionally well equipped with all modern appliances, part air-conditioned and with private pool, the house sits in its own small valley surrounded by trees with no immediate neighbours yet only a short walk to the medieval village of Fayence (excellent restaurants, shops and a Provencal market 3 times a week).

A spacious living room and dining room lead out on to a terrace and both master bedroom suites have lovely views over the garden with its climbing roses and terraces to the wooded hillside beyond.

Just below the house is the mosaic pool overlooked by the summer kitchen/outside shaded dining area. Free internet and phone calls to most countries (landlines only), flat screen HD TV (free to view UK channels), DVD Player, Bose Hi-fi, i-Pod dock and a bottle of champagne and provencal rose on arrival. Regretfully no children under 5 and no pets.

35 minutes to beaches, 45 minutes from Nice Airport. N/S inside house.

Excellent holiday villa

Woodlands was just perfect for our family holiday! Beautiful, cosy and rustic villa with enough room and space. Very nice pool, well stocked, tidy and great outdoor kitchen with bbq. Located in quiet and peaceful surroundings but still walking distance from the village. The owners, Susan and James, are both very helpful and nice. Will definately recommend Woodlands in the future!

Excellent house perfect location

Woodlands is for us a perfect holiday location. Plenty of room for 8 people, well stocked, good swimming pool, lovely outdoor kitchen, peaceful, surrounded by nature, 15 minutes walk to centre of Fayence which has bars, restaurants, market and everything you need. Less than 1 hour from the Côte d'Azur and a million miles from the hustle and bustle- perfect !

Fantastic villa in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful two week holiday in this lovely, rustic villa that has so much charm. Ample space inside the property and the outdoor kitchen was absolutely perfect for long lunches and evening bbqs. The villa is located within walking distance of the quaint village of Fayence, but nestled nicely into the hills - it's so tranquil and the lookout is just gorgeous. The villa was clean and tidy and had every utensil you could wish for; the well stocked kitchen meant no need for buying items you'd only use once. We would 100% recommend this villa to any large group looking for a relaxing stay in Provence.

Lovely retreat in the mountains

The house in Fayence was lovely, the gardens were beautiful, pool was very refreshing and the house was perfect for the six of us, we lazed by the pool everyday. It had everything that we needed. The walk to Fayence took about ten minutes and there were lots of great restaurants which we tried, La France was great value and we went to Moulin de la Camandoule to celebrate a 40th birthday which was amazing.

The owners, James and Sue were very helpful both before and when we were away, even booking a restaurant for the birthday bash for us.

Would highly recommend this house for a relaxing holiday away in the South of France.

There is a huge choice of beaches. Nearest timewise are those that run for 3km to the centre of Cannes from Cannes-la-Bocca a 35 minute drive. Cannes has upmarket shops as well as many restaurants.

Travel:

Nice is the nearest airport and is approximately a 45 minute drive to the house. Car hire is essential although the house is within walking distance of the village of Fayence.

Distances:

1 km to Fayence.

Further Details:

Amenities 1km away in the delightful hill top village of Fayence, which also has a Provencal market 3 times a week. It has several banks, a church, 7 restaurants, a post office, a small supermarket and various other retail outlets. 3 major supermarkets within 5-10 minute drive. Golf and gliding 5 km.

A number of the surrounding villages (20 min to 1 hour's drive) are definitely worth visiting (see House Book on arrival for details).

Booking Notes:
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Check in time after 4.00pm and check out time 10.00am. Deposit of 30% payable when booking. The balance, plus a security deposit of £500, must be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday start. Upon funds being cleared details of directions, key code, etc. will be issued. On completion of holiday and safe return of the keys and satisfactory inventory check, the deposit will be refunded in full provided there is no unwarranted damage.

Changeover Day:
Saturday to Saturday - check in from 4.00pm and check out by 10.00 am. Luggage can be left at the house if you arrive earlier but you are kindly requested not to move into the house until the cleaning ladies have left.
