This 3rd floor apartment has a good size lounge with space for dining, a log burning fire, a false ceiling with insulation and down-lighters, new flooring, corner storage and display area, air conditioning, and patio doors leading to a balcony with sea views. The spacious bedroom benefits from new custom-built wardrobes with lighting laminate flooring, air conditioning and wafer panel heating. The kitchen is fully fitted and comes equipped with a halogen hob and extractor. The large bathroom has new fixtures and fittings and a Jacuzzi bath. All windows and patio doors are double-glazed with mosquito nets and the property is fitted with a video entry security system. The property also has a communal underground garage with remote control entry and a communal roof terrace with beautiful sea views and communal gardens

It is still a lovely and peaceful area to live and spend holidays.

Es una casa muy bien equipada y amplia. Dispone de menaje de cocina y hogar para vivir comodamente, incluso dispone aire acondicionado y bañera hidromasaje. También dispone de garaje subterráneo para liberar al coche del calor, aunque fuera hay aparcamiento. Ademas dispone de un servicio de limpieza semanal incluido en el precio.

Esta en el limite entre Portimao y Alvor, lo que permite disfrutar de absoluta tranquilidad y cercania ( en coche ) a playas de du Vao , de Alvor o la famosa playa de Rocha.

Los dueños son encantadores y atentos.

Only 20 minute drive to the new F1 circuit, hosting the Superbikes and other racing competitions. Also available are cycling; surfing; windsurfing, dune buggy racing; sea-angling; horse riding, dolphin spotting; sea cruises, sand sculptures exhibition, Slide and Splash; trekking and walking; visit the scenic unspoiled Monchique mountain area and the majestic Silves Castle, both within easy travelling distance of Alvor. The weekly ‘Resident’ magazine provides valuable information regarding special events, exhibitions and local markets as well as local news.

Coast/Beach:

Within approximately 8/10 minutes walking distance of Praia da Rocha - one of the finest beaches in the Western Algarve and one of the longest and safest in the area. There is a boardwalk along the beach which is lit at night. Several good restaurants and bars are located along the beach and Marina. Daytime activities include water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, pedalos, and beach sports. Ferragudo, Praia de Vau, Alvor, are a short taxi/driving distance away.

Travel:

Faro airport is 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is not essential. There are many airport transfer services. All amenities are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. There are stops for the local buses outside.

Distances:

There are over 70 beaches listed in the Algarve, the closest being Praia do Vau and Praia da Rocha, both within easy walking distance. Typically, the south coast beaches, because of the calmer waves and gentle slopping shoreline, are very nice for wading, beach combing, safe swimming and sunbathing. The west coast is exciting, wild and excellent for surfing, body boarding, and the general enjoyment of the sea and dramatic cliffs and landscape.
