This modern apartment has a wrap-around terrace on three sides and is located on the seafront. The views are breathtaking and you will never tire of the beautiful mountains, lapping ocean and complete open vista before you. A chilled glass of local wine, taking all this in as the sun sets, ensures you will have a truly relaxing holiday you will never forget. Most guests return many times. The famous Balcon De Europa can also be seen from this apartment. It is located in the most prestigious and popular street in Nerja,Calle Carabeo. Every year many people return to this apartment due to it being located above the beach and only a 5 min walk to the centre of Nerja and also due to the high standard of decor. We listen to our guests and are always happy to oblige if guests suggest 'little extras' they would like. Your comfort is very important to us and we want you to feel 'at home' in the apartment which is why we enjoy adding decorative features and useful objects to ease your stay.

The local Carabeillo beach is literally 2 mins away down steps under the apartment! This joins the famous Burriana beach of Nerja.

A stroll will take you to the other side of Nerja where there are many other beaches. The choice is yours!

The wraparound balcony affords you a wonderful view of the whole of Burriana beach and surrounding mountains.

Along the beach you can have your own paella cooked for you or delicious fish prepared on the open barbecues while you sit and look at the sea.


The nearest airport is Malaga and is 40 mins away by autovia. We usually use Malaga Car Hire.[www.malagacarhire.com]

You don't need a car unless you want to visit other places as the town is a short stroll away.

A taxi can be arranged for you if you decide a car is not a necessity and this can be ordered through our local agent in Nerja when you arrange key collection.

The location is perfect for people not wishing to use a car at all but simply wanting to explore on foot.


The apartment is in a cobbled street 5 mins stroll from the fascinating town of Nerja.

The beach is below the apartment!

Frigiliana is a small local whitewashed village about 10 mins by car you may wish to visit.

The Caves of Nerja are a famous attraction and are 10 mins by car.

Along the local coastline there are many interesting Andalusian towns to explore. Malaga has a fabulous beach and a wonderful cathedral.

Further Details:

You will always find another restaurant or Tapas bar in the town of Nerja each time you visit. There is an amazing range of shops selling everything from Serrano hams to designer shoes. There are many cashpoints and banks available locally as well as car hire, taxis and horse-drawn carriages which transport you elegantly around the town. An excellent small supermarket is only 1 min away, great for water/bread/eggs/wine etc.

As this location is so central to the town and the beach exploring is easy and can always be done on foot.

The cobbled street of Calle Carabeo is outside the apartment and this leads straight in to the town. Even along here there are excellent restaurants and famous tapas bars to stop and have a drink and 'people - watch'.

Notes on accommodation: A Welcome Pack is provided on arrival for all our guests. The apartment is located in probably the most famous and exclusive road in Nerja. The location is very simply 'the best'. At night the waves will put you to sleep as they break below on the beach under the apartment. The lovely stroll in to the centre of town to look at the pretty church in the square or stand at the end of The Balcon De Europa [a famous landmark] is a pleasure and very easy. Were you to get the bus or a taxi from the airport and only wanted to chill for a week and swim in the sea/sunbathe you would not need a car at all. The interior design is important and is constantly upgraded. We use knowledgeable local agents who look after the property for us and can be contacted easily if needed. Ceiling fans are fitted to cool you in Summer. Electric central heating and a modern gas fire are available at fixed costs. The outside terrace has three sides providing sun or shade all day depending on your preference. Outside: There is an immaculate garden with a good - sized pool.Grassed areas with flowers and trees (e.g roses, a fig tree, hibiscus and bougainvillea) and a tiled area near the pool. Tables are available out here for picnics etc. This area is never busy as there are only just over 20 apartments in total and many owners do not rent their apartments out. Even in high Summer it is quiet here. The outdoor showers overlook the beach. There is a modern toilet block in the grounds for changing etc. On the apartment balcony there is a table with chairs for dining and a variety of loungers and comfortable chairs with cushions are also supplied. The pool area is enclosed. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Modern bed linen and towels are provided and replaced each week. A clean is provided free of charge if your stay is for longer than 1 week. During this your beds will be changed and the bathrooms/kitchen cleaned for you. Other: Entrance hall with armoire full of novels/games, sewing kit etc. A washing line is provided on the terrace. The balcony wraps around three sides of the apartment so you are always able to sit in the sun and enjoy the views! A table and chairs outside.

Excellent apartment with lovely views

We had a great break in this excellent apartment . The views are amazing and the wrap around terrace meant we were able to enjoy all day sunshine. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped.

Amazing Views

We had a wonderful, relaxing 2 weeks at this stylish and well equipped apartment,. When you first open the doors onto the balcony the views just about take your breath away! From such a high vantage point you look out directly over the sea, but also across to the mountains and down to the Balcon....just incredible. Sitting on the balcony you are at the tops of the beautiful trees with the birds all around. The location is ideal, it is a straight flat walk into the centre of Nerja where we explored the pretty winding streets and sat in the cafes in the square watching the world go by, we were there to relax so we didn't hire a car, we were more than happy to potter around the immediate area. There are masses of restaurants to chose from, the one below the apartment served high quality food, lovely for a treat, but you didn't have to spend much to eat well. We enjoyed cooking in the apartment, there was everything we needed and to be able to eat on the balcony was better than all the restaurants! There are 2 mini markets very close by for basics, salads, bread etc with the bigger one about a 10 minute walk away which was fine. The pool was heaven, as the apartments are privately owned they weren't all occupied when we were there so we regularly had the pool to ourselves, which was clean and well looked after. All in all we couldn't have asked for more (apart from maybe air con in the bedrooms, but even though it was very hot, we still slept well with the ceiling fans and balcony doors open), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and we are all keen to return one day!

To book we require a 25% deposit of the total cost.
The balance is due 6 weeks before departure.
A £100 refundable damages deposit is also required with the balance. This will be returned immediately if the apartment is left as it was found.
The amounts are paid by bank transfer (some people prefer cheques, but this is now rare)
We also have a villa in Nerja ref. S10730 and an excellent local agent looks after our properties for us.

Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Saturday. During lower season months this could be negotiable.

Notes on prices:
Xmas/New Year and Easter weeks = Please get in touch for costings if available.
Stays of 3+ weeks can be negotiated.
The Welcome Pack is included and consists of fresh bread, cheese, chorizo. Wine and water. It is a typically rustic Spanish 'picnic'.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
