A new three bedroom apartment in an exclusive and tranquil area of stylish apartments and villas. It sleeps 8 people with king size beds in two bedrooms, twin beds in the third and a double sofa bed in the living room. Cots available on request. All the rooms have patio doors leading out onto a 99sq.m terrace which wraps around three sides of the apartment providing both sun and shade throughout the day. The terrace and small garden overlooks a shared walk-in swimming pool and jacuzzi, which are enclosed providing a safe environment for families.

The historic walled town of Lagos is only 3km away (5 mins drive/25 mins walk), which has beautiful cobbled streets and an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a regular fruit, vegetable, fish and meat market. The marina provides boat trips to the grotto's and dolphins. The area offers something for all the family. Nearest golf club is 5 mins drive, National Park for hiking and horse riding is 20 mins drive.

Excellent apartment

Very spacious, modern, well equipped apartment with a large terrace, looks exactly as shown in the photos. Set in a very quiet area, 10 minute walk to a lovely beach which has a couple of beach bars. Would definitely recommend a car as the property is on the edge of town. There are well kept gardens around the pool area and while we were there we practically had the place to ourselves. Recommended as a great place to stay.

Fantastic

Just arrived back from a 10 night stay at this lovely apartment, it has everything you need and the whole set up is well catered for. It is spotless throughout and a very comfortable villa, the pool is exactly 20 steps away from this villa LOL .. exceptional [place to base our holiday and fully recommend this.

Apartment in Porto De Mos

This is our second stay at the apartment which is delightful and suits all of our requirements. The apartment is fully equipped, light, airy and very comfortable. It is located between Praia da Luz and Lagos, both with lovely beaches and restaurants. The apartment is a short walk to the lovely Porto de Mos beach but we recommend a car to explore the Algarve. We stayed at the apartment for five weeks and it really is home from home. The pool area was quiet during our stay, allowing very peaceful sunbathing and use of pool and jacuzzi. The owners of the property are very accommodating and our rental was handled efficiently from booking through to the end of our holiday. The Home Team were waiting for us on arrival and are extremely helpful and accommodating. It was good to have a welcome pack on our arrival so that we did not have to rush out to the supermarket. We are looking forward to another long rental next year, if we can wait that long!

We highly recommend this property.

Fantastic apartment

Our second stay in this beautiful and spacious three bed apartment and enjoyed our time just as much as the first time. Spotlessly clean and well equipped including beach towels (which as we were travelling Ryanair made a difference to the dreaded weight allowance!) The welcome pack was amazing and Linda who managed the property was really helpful and gave us lots of local information. Spent most of the time sat by the pool area which is beautifully maintained and never crowded. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you

Location

We love the area because we can escape and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We really enjoy sitting on our balcony watching the world drift by. Porto de Mos is a beautiful and peaceful area, yet within easy walking distance of Lagos which has a wide variety of bars and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes.

There are many beautiful beaches on the Algarve. The closest is Praia do Porto de Mos, which is an easy 5 minute walk (600m). There are also two lovely restaurants at the beach serving a wide variety of international meals. Ask for a loyalty card, and you can get money off meals especially if you visit more than a couple of times during your holiday. Adeja de Marina in Lagos is also part of the same group and your loyalty card can be used there too. If you visit Adeja de Marina and if you like pork, ask for "Secreto with fries and salad", it is wonderful. You will find it listed on the specials board. The locals like to keep it a secret!

Faro airport is approximately 80km away (approximately 50 mins drive). There are a large number of car rental companies available at the airport. Alternatively we can arrange an airport pick-up/drop-off for you. A car is recommended to enjoy the Algarve, however there is a regular bus service from the beach to the centre of Lagos costing around 1.50 Euros p/p. Taxis to Lagos cost around 6 Euros.

Our management company is based locally. They will visit you within 24 hours of your arrival and are also available at all times should any emergency arise.

Two large supermarkets (Intermarche & Continente) are located around 1km from the apartment, which sell virtually everything you may require for your holiday. However if you do not want to shop, then we can purchase your groceries for you prior to your arrival, please ask for details. A welcome pack containing some basic items is included in the rental cost.

There are numerous banks with ATM's located in Lagos.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has air-conditioning in every room. There are external electric blinds in all rooms, which not only provide excellent security but also keep the apartment cool in the day and night. There is secure basement car parking, alternatively there is ample free on-street parking. A lockable room in the basement is also available for the storage of golf clubs, trolleys, prams and pushchairs. High chairs and cots are available free of charge, but please request when booking. A safe is provided. Outside: The apartment has a large terrace (99 square metres) which extends around three sides of the apartment providing both sun and shade throughout the day. From the terrace are views over the park. It also overlooks the shared pool and jacuzzi. Access to the pool area from the terrace is via a private gate making the apartment very safe and secure for young children. Patio furniture, which seats 10 people, is provided. In addition, a smaller outside table, which seats 4 people, is provided outside the kitchen. This is ideal for breakfast. A BBQ is also available on the terrace. Sunloungers are provided which may be used on the terrace or by the pool. A box of beach toys for all ages is also provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided. From summer 2012, we will also be providing pool/beach towels. For stays of 1 week, a mid week towel change and light clean will be provided. For stays of 10 - 14 days, a mid holiday towel and linen change will be provided.
