Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, with free WIFI, in the heart of Puerto del Carmen, overlooking the beach and beside all amenities. Only a 5 minute drive to the nearest Golf Course and 25 minutes to the Teguise Course. Ideally situated for a stress and hassle free holiday requiring no car or taxi hire to get access to everything you need. We have just recently had air-conditioning fitted and had the wifi / tv system upgraded to the best there is on the island. Now we have all the UK and Irish tv channels, plus the full SKY Package.

My wife and I and our three grown up children are from County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. We have owned the apartment for 8 years now, and have spent a lot of time and money refurbishing and modernising it, as you can see from the photos! We find it very relaxing and stress free here when we stay ourselves and hope potential customers come away feeling the same and craving to get back again.

Great apartment and owner
Unfortunately we were unable to stay in Brendan's apartment but he was very helpful in finding an alternative one for us on the same complex. The apartment was great, right on the frontline of the complex with a fantastic view of the beach and sea. The facilities in the apartment and the complex were first class with a lovely clean pool and beautiful gardens. Everything about the booking was very easy, from requesting the booking originally to ease of payment to great service from Brendan regarding him finding us an alternative apartment when his was unavailable for our dates. The only problem we had was getting the wifi to work but it only took one text to Brendan and he sorted it straight away. The complex is just a few steps from the many bars and restaurants but there was no noise at all in the apartment. We would definately book again - hopefully next year!
Unfortunately we couldn't stay at Brendan's apartment but this man bent over backwards to help us get another apartment it was a pleasure to do business with him it was a great holiday so relaxing and laid back the apartment was great too so clean central to everything and no noise at night we will come back here again loved it thanks again Brendan Dougie and Tricia
fantastic apartment with great views
We had a fantastic holiday staying in this beautiful apartment. The location was ideal close to all the shops and restaurants and only across the road from the beach. Pool area was lovely and quiet. Views were amazing!!! Will definitely be booking again!!!
We arrived for a week's holiday, wished I had booked for 2 now. Jackie was there to meet us, nothing was too much for her, if we needed anything during our stay, she was there.
The apartment is everything that it says it is, so comfortable and relaxing to be there, (really home from home) good nights sleep every night!! The view is truly amazing and the balcony very private. A few steps to climb, but with controlled breathing - easy peasy. (we are in our 60s) All the restaurant's that Brendan & Helen had suggested, were brilliant. We also discovered a lovely tea shop - Vallery's - amazing cakes and the best coffee. Not so good for the diet though, but we were on holiday !! Also the TV & Wi-Fi came in handy as husband John became ill a few days into our holiday and needed to see the doctor, and was advised to stay in !! Would definitely return, for a longer stay next time.

We were unable to book Brendan's apartment , but he managed to arrange a booking for us in E 28 which was excellent it had all the facilities to make your stay very comfortable . The complex is excellent very convenient for shops, beach restaurants I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and Brendan was very helpful and everything went very well in assuring we had great holiday
Lovely property in a great part of the world!
Having stayed here from 6th September - 20th September we had a fabulous time. The apartment is lovely from its stunning views of the beach, sea, mountains and Fuertaventura!
The apartment is lovely it has everything you need, location is spot on right on the strip and 10 minute walk to harbour, surprisingly peaceful given close proximity to the strip, private relaxing pool area too!
A couple of teething problems upon arrival, however Brendan was only a text away and was on hand to sort them out which was very reassuring, would like to thank Brendan & Helen for letting us use their lovely spot in the world and making the whole booking experience a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble answering the most trivial of questions! Thank you. A really lovely holiday, the only trouble is.......when we can return!! :-)

The close proximity to everything you need from a short or long term holiday, and the luxuriousness of the overall apartment complex is what encouraged us to buy an apartment in Las Tabaibas, quoted by many people to be one of the best, and best located complexes on the island.”

There are lots of things to do on the island which is only about 40 miles long and 16 miles wide. There are specialist companies all along the main strip who can organise day trips and tours for you, or you can hire a car from either the airport or the numerous car hire firms along the main strip. The beautiful area of Puerto Calero with its designer label shops and millionaires row of private yachts is well worth a look. You can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants with fairly reasonable prices and lovely views onto the marina, and see how the other half live! Taxi is only about 8 euro from Puerto del Carmen.
Beach is only 50 metres from the apartment, with sun loungers and umbrellas available to rent. There are numerous activities to avail of such as jet skis, paragliding and banana boats, as well as fishing trips and boat/submarine tours. There is a water park suitable for all ages in Costa Teguise which can be reached by regular buses or by taxi.
Arrecife is the main and only airport on the island, and is approximately 10-15 minutes from the apartment. Taxis are readily available outside the airport and will cost roughly 12-15 euro to the apartment. Car hire is available from the airport, or there are lots of car hire firms on the main strip in Puerto del Carmen.
If required, we can arrange to have you lifted at the airport and brought straight to the apartment, leaving the start of your holiday completely hassle and worry free.
Las Tabaibas (the name of the complex) is situated at the start of the Newtown area of PDC (about 300 metres from the Farionnes). It is approximately 10 minutes walk to the Oldtown area which has the harbour, lots of different types of restaurants, and a good selection of bars offering live entertainment on a nightly basis. The Newtown area also has a large selection of restaurants, live music bars and night clubs, all within walking distance. Taxi hire is very cheap and available 24hrs a day.
There are lots of supermarkets e.g. Spar, Supermercado, beside your accommodation which stock food items from the UK and Ireland. Banks are all very close and the cash machines accept most cards. Banks are open from about 8.30am until 2pm Monday to Saturday. You can get sterling changed to euros in any of the numerous tobacco shops which offer a better rate than even the banks at home.

Bookings should be made in plenty of time to avoid disappointment. Bookings confirmed on receipt of 25% deposit (non refundable). Balance to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. If you find that our apartment is booked for the times you are interested in, we can put you in touch with other people on the complex who also rent or arrange it for you. Apartments we recommend will be apartments we have stayed in ourselves and are of a high standard. Only mature couples and families need apply.
Apartment will be ready from approx 1pm on your day of arrival. On departure day, apartment must be vacated by 11am to enable our property managers to get the apartment ready for the next visitors unless a later departure time is agreed.
Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per night in UK pounds, and based on 2 people sharing. It is £35 per week per extra person up to a maximum of 3 extra people staying ( 5 people total ).
Price includes all electricity, water and WiFi usage. There are NO hidden charges.

- Notes on accommodation: Accommodation and complex is very family friendly, with lockable gates at both entrances to the complex. Our patio area is very secure and child safe. There is a small hidden safe available for use at no extra cost. However if key is lost, a small fee will be imposed to replace it. The following TV Stations are available at no extra cost: BBC 1 BBC 2 ITV 1 ITV 2 CHANNEL 4 CHANNEL 5 ITV2 + 1 RTE 1 RTE 2 TV3 3E Childrens channels & cartoon channels Unlimited Free WiFi Total of 75 english speaking channels. Outside: The complex itself is reasonably small, with all apartments privately owned. It is very well maintained, with mature palm trees and flower beds throughout. The complex is very well illuminated at night for people's safety. Pool is shared with a shallow end for infants and extremely well maintained. Each apartment has it's own sunbeds which are numbered which means no early rise in the mornings to reserve your beds with towels! Pool is not heated, but does get warm. Utility Room: Washing machine situated in bathroom for use when required. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen in place on arrival. Towel change mid week.
