Villa with Private Pool, Sea and Mountain Views

Overview

Property

Updated: 30-Oct-2016
Villa in Ador, Nr. Gandia, Valencia, Spain - Peaceful Location, 10 Minutes Drive to the Beach

The Villa lies between the two rural villages of Ador and Villalonga. In Villalonga, 5 minutes drive down the mountain, you will find street cafes and bars, restaurants, newsagents, an internet shop, banks and various general stores, plus a very well stocked supermarket and also some night life in the evening. The village also has freshwater fountains and a playground, and is known to host some of the best fiestas in the area. Dates can be given on enquiry. On the road to Gandia, around 8 mins drive away, is the ‘Moli Canyar’. Here, every Saturday night, you can dance the night away to live music and disco whilst enjoying a traditional 5-course Spanish meal. The Moli is also open every lunchtime with a splendid ‘all you can eat’ buffet costing just 10 euros! In neighbouring Ador can be found the best pizzas and tapas of the area at the ‘Aventura’ restaurant where many Spaniards go to eat, giving it a very lively and traditional family atmosphere.

Amazing Scenic Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here! We'd happily stay in sometimes, although we could easily drive down to the beach or visit cities nearby. A car is a must.

Photos don't do the villa justice and they provided everything we'd need - welcomed with a bottle of red too! The red sofas by the window are the comfiest, with the perfect view - the spot to be! Also, have to mention that we needed help at one point and the very friendly House Manager, Steve, came within 30 mins to sort everything out!

Definitely recommend!

Beautiful villa in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit to this fantastic villa and once again we had a great time, the new barbecue / kitchen and toilet area next to the pool made a big difference, we filled the fridge with food and drink and just relaxed by the huge pool.

This is a beautiful villa in a marvellous setting overlooking lime groves and mountains for as far as you can see. You get the sun on the terrace all day but the new addition of the shade over the outside table means you can have a break from the sun whilst having lunch, it was hell.

The small village of Villalonga is 5 minutes away and has to be visited, it has a really good supermarket, lots of nice bars and a couple of good restaurants, La Taska is a new restaurant, it has a good extensive menu but you may need to book especially at the weekend.

The beach in Gandia is about 15 minutes away and is really nice, there is an underground carpark running parallel to the beach which is easy to find and cheap to use.

Thursday night is music and dance night in Monte Corona at the bottom of the hill, book it and enjoy.

Steve the managing agent was really helpful and is only a phone call away for anything from help booking taxis to booking a table in the restaurants, my spanish is shameful.

Thanks Toni for allowing us to use your home we will be back again next year.

Regards,

Jim and Steph Burns

I was eager to find out what you thought of the improvements to the villa as you are a repeat guest. To hear you want to come back again can only mean you approve wholeheartedly. We've had such a positive response this year that all the hard work done by Steve and his team has been totally worth it. We look forward to welcoming you back next year Jim. All the Best, Toni

Beautiful villa with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks here as a family of five, and really enjoyed the well-equipped villa with amazing views. The photos on the website do not do justice to the light and space offered by the property, which is what makes this such a special place to stay.

There are a few good restaurants within a short drive and the takeaway paella from the restaurant at the bottom of the hill was amazing, enjoyed on a lazy Sunday afternoon on the terrace. The nearest beaches are a good 25 minutes away but very nice, and there are plenty of other sites to see, albeit quite a bit of driving is required to get the most out of the area.

We hope to be back soon!

Spacious, light, airy, comfortable, wonderful view

  • 5 of 5

We had a really lovely holiday in this immaculate villa. The photographs on the site are a true representation, it really is beautiful. There is a small village within a short drive with a well stocked supermarket but a car is essential unless you are super fit as the villa is situated high on a hill. The beaches run all the way along the coast but are 30 mins away at least. Having said that we were perfectly happy to stay put with fabulous weather, a crystal clear (and very clean) pool and incredible views. I would not hesitate to return, we had a very peaceful holiday. A couple of things; if you do head this way and hire a car at the airport, accept the offer of a sat nav - we didn`t and regretted it more than once, or have a very good map with you! Because of the hill there are steps up to the villa at the front and from the door to the terrace and pool, could be tricky for someone with mobility issues. Finally, this is not a tourist area and a vague idea of basic Spanish , even just to order food, would be very helpful.

Thank you Toni,

One word, Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Lovely location set in the hills with a wonderful view over the orange and lime groves with Gandia in the distance. The villa is sett out with the view in mind so when you wake up; that is the first thing you see. We had most of our meals by pool side apart from visiting the restaurant at the bottom of the hill twice, They have a sett menu each day for ten euros which is a 3 course, jug of sangria, and coffee, or you can choose a la carte, If like us you love Paella they make that on a sett day so ask at the start of you holiday or you may miss out. easy walking distance from the villa 15 minutes but a bit longer on the way back. Villalonda is a lovely village which has a supermarket where we bought all our fish for the BBQ and was very reasonable priced i.e. two meals for the three of us cost no more than £12. Our favourite beech was Daimus south of Gandia which was a lot quieter than Playa de Gandia. it also had plenty of restaurants just set off of the beech. if you are looking for a nice cove you will find Playa de la granadella about 40 minute away by car which is just past Xabia but it has a stoney beech. If you want a quite day which involves just chilling like we did then there is no better place than Toni's villa. we can give it no less than 5 stars and we plan to return.

Amazing Villa

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful villa for 8 days recently. The house itself is at the top of a hill that gives wonderful views across the valley to the sea. There are also mountains to the left, where we were lucky enough to see several gorgeous sunsets.

The villa itself is beautifully built and equipped. No expense seems to have been spared, and there are many thoughtful touches like basic foodstuffs in the kitchen, some left over sunscreen by the front door and, of course, the very welcome bottle of wine when we arrived. Three lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite from the master bedroom) make up the upstairs. Downstairs is a very well equipped kitchen and lounge area.

One of the key features of the villa is the amount of glass that is used, giving a light and airy feel throughout. This culminates with a big front window that has two of the squashiest armchairs you can every wish for arranged in front to look out at the view and, because of the size of the window, the same view can be seen lying in bed in the master bedroom. Pure luxury.

The infinity pool is very nice. We found it a little cool first thing but by mid-morning it was a delight to escape the heat of the day. There is also an outdoors kitchen area which was nicely designed and a great place to organise a BBQ.

Support while we were at the house was excellent, with advice, help and lots of friendliness available when we needed it - many thanks to Steve.

We had a fantastic family holiday at the villa and can heartily recommend it to anyone who visits this part of Spain. And, with this level of luxury, service and such facilities, this was a perfect find for us. Enjoy!
