Villa in Ador, Nr. Gandia, Valencia, Spain - Peaceful Location, 10 Minutes Drive to the Beach

The Villa lies between the two rural villages of Ador and Villalonga. In Villalonga, 5 minutes drive down the mountain, you will find street cafes and bars, restaurants, newsagents, an internet shop, banks and various general stores, plus a very well stocked supermarket and also some night life in the evening. The village also has freshwater fountains and a playground, and is known to host some of the best fiestas in the area. Dates can be given on enquiry. On the road to Gandia, around 8 mins drive away, is the ‘Moli Canyar’. Here, every Saturday night, you can dance the night away to live music and disco whilst enjoying a traditional 5-course Spanish meal. The Moli is also open every lunchtime with a splendid ‘all you can eat’ buffet costing just 10 euros! In neighbouring Ador can be found the best pizzas and tapas of the area at the ‘Aventura’ restaurant where many Spaniards go to eat, giving it a very lively and traditional family atmosphere.

About Toni

My husband and I visited this very Spanish part of Spain many times before we decided to buy a plot and build a house from scratch. We absolutely love the atmosphere in Gandia and the local environs, both Villalonga and Ador are very friendly villages. We both live in London so we find it very easy to get here quickly and relax within a few hours of leaving home.

Why Toni chose Ador

We have had many brilliant holidays in our villa, its very easy to use and we have equipped it as we would our own home. The pool and outdoor kitchen are great additions to the living space and in the summer we spend all our time outside.

What makes this villa unique

When we built this place we were determined have an infinity pool and a large terrace to gaze at the beautiful views that we knew we'd have once the plot was cleared. These are just a few of the many things that made us fall in love with this area and indeed the villa we built.

Notes on accommodation: Master bedroom upstairs with atrium balcony not suitable for young children. Pool is not fenced off. Outside: The villa has good-sized 6 x 12m ceramic tiled infinity pool with Roman stairs into water. Pool lighting for evening and night swims. Tiled patio area around pool with parasol and table, sun lounges – ideal for catching those lovely hot Mediterranean rays and eating outside. No china or glass by pool. Plastic plates and glasses provided . Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, airer, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included. Cleaning on arrival and departure. Extra cleaning on request.

Immaculate villa perfect for families or couples

Spacious and loved the lay out and views from vila and pool. Everything worked plus all bedrooms had A/C which is a major bonus. Best thing about this villa is location which is perfect. Brilliant. No issues with payments or entry to villa, all went as planned and instructed. The communication with the landlord before and after our stay was really good. The description online is very precise and we didnt miss anything. Top class you won't be disappointed if you book to stay here.

Another fantastic Holiday

This was our third visit to this beautiful villa and once again we were not disappointed. Its so peaceful and relaxing you just cannot beat it, we never tire of the incredible views over the lime and orange groves with the village of Ador and the sea in the distance.

Everything you need is in the villa, barbecue, WiFi, TV with BBC and Sky news and the outside area with the pool just gets better, I spent hours in the pool just looking out at the view.

We love the peace and tranquillity that you have here and also the opportunity to shop and eat in Gandia whenever you want to.

The Saturday morning market in Gandia is well worth a visit for really nice table clothes, shawls and other bits and pieces.

The small village of Villalonga just 5 minutes away has a great supermarket which has everything you need plus some welcoming bars and restaurants.

We love this area of Spain and will hopefully be back again next year.

My family and I had a brilliant holiday here, the views were incredible as was the pool. In the evenings we were able to relax in the TV lounge and it felt like a home away from home. Definitely a place I would like to come back to.

We stayed at the villa for the second time. Location is great on top of the mountain with wonderful views. A great Place to relax and make a trip to Valencia or other beautiful places nearby. Amazing Scenic Stay!

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here! We'd happily stay in sometimes, although we could easily drive down to the beach or visit cities nearby. A car is a must.

Photos don't do the villa justice and they provided everything we'd need - welcomed with a bottle of red too! The red sofas by the window are the comfiest, with the perfect view - the spot to be! Also, have to mention that we needed help at one point and the very friendly House Manager, Steve, came within 30 mins to sort everything out!

Definitely recommend!

Special interest holidays:

The coastline is a short drive down the mountain with the fine sandy beaches of Gandia, Bellreguard, Miramar, Daimuz and Piles within easy reach. Facilities for scuba diving, wind and kite surfing and, of course, sailing and boating are all available there. Gandia's beach has superb facilities for disabled travellers. The town of Gandia, once the old capital of Valencia, is around 15 minutes drive away and is very much geared to Spanish rather than foreign tourism giving the visitor a truly Spanish experience. Its 14th century Palacio Ducal de los Borja is its number one tourist attraction and the church in Plaza Major is also well worth a visit. There is a lovely tree-lined avenue with fountains and benches and plenty of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants keeping the pedestrianised street abuzz most mornings and evenings, ideal for watching the world go by.


Gandia Playa Nord stretches for 3.5km and the quality of its fine, golden sand is second to none in Spain. The beach is a blue flag and is only 15 minutes from the villa.


Valencia airport is about 45 minutes drive away and Alicante airport is approximately one hour away by car. Car hire is essential to access the Villa. For those wishing to travel down by car, the villa is conveniently situated about half an hour away from J61 of the main coastal motorway.


The nearest villages are Villalonga and Ador, just 1km from the villa.
