About Richard Watson

I am a solicitor in private practice living in Hertfordshire. I first began letting a holiday home in the Lake District in 2000.

Armed with that experience, I set about achieving a similar four star standard in Italy. It was important to make sure there were new, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen such as we would want for ourselves.

I am interested in old properties and enjoy travelling within Europe. It is always a pleasure to arrive at Naples Airport and drive down to Laureana. In the summer there may be people enjoying live music in the little piazza.

Outside the summer months the area has a character of its own. I have swum in the sea in October. In winter I can enjoy a meal in front of an open fire in a local pizzeria, or see the sights when they are quiet.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Lovely house in beautiful location. Lots of fun outings and days on the hill. Weather better than forecast seemed to be saying.

Fantastic property, very clean and had everything needed for a fantastic break

  • 5 of 5

Had a fantastic weekend break here in April 2018. Lovely clean and well equipped cottage with enough room for 7 people to live comfortably.

Would highly recommend staying here and I'm sure we will be booking and coming to stay again sometime.

Beautifully thought out holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

As soon as you walk in, there's everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, livingroom - large with lots of seating. TV is freesat with dvd player. There is a coal fireplace in the property and outhouse with garden table and chairs. Upstairs are two large bedrooms one ensuite, with a small third bedroom. All in all a good place to go for a holiday.
