Very charming holiday villa/finca. Located 2 minutes drive from the white and lively village of Mijas. 7km from the coast. Stunning sea views and terraces all around the garden of 6.600 m2. 100% privacy and child friendly: private road; no traffic at all! The house is a reformed farmhouse with loads of character. There is a great pool area, with a lot of shady areas. The house is unsuitable for invalid persons. Payment by PayPal is possible,

We work and live in Switzerland, but have lived for 10 years in Spain, which has been an unforgettable time.

The finca is very special to us, as it reflects the real Spanish life, surrounded by nature, yet close to a village, lovely Spanish neighbours, completely private garden and a wonderful view to the sea.

- Never had better views. Complete privacy. We enjoyed the lush garden and the private pool every day. We had to push oursleves to leave the villa!

- We took our dog to this great secured house and we all had a marvellous time. The real Spain can still be found here.

- This place is great for children: the house has a private pool and it has adventurous direct surroundings (including caves!). Comment from the owners: "True! But although there is no traffic around the house, always accompany your kids on their explorations".

-I can strongly recommend this fantastic villa in Mijas. Located at the very end of a private track offering seclusion, privacy and fantastic views over the hills and out towards the coast.

The landscaped gardens and terraces offer lots of areas to relax in both the sun and the shade.

Hidden gem

Property description does not prepare you for just how delightful the place is. Very private but with terrific views to the sea and surrounding hills.

Accommodation perfectly adequate for family groups with enough room for you own space around the pool,gardens and terraces in full sunshine or shade.

Enjoy grapes and figs from the gardens

Car essential - 5 min to the centre of Mijas but a 15 min walk for the fitter members.

Owners were very helpful and easy to deal with.

No reservations in recommending this gem.

The Flamenco dans school of Mijas performs twice a week in the main square of Mijas. For information, please go to the tourist information centre of Mijas.

There are plenty of nice restaurants and tapas bars in the village of Mijas. The quality of the food is good and prices are very reasonable.

A couple of places where you can enjoy a great meal: Bodega el Placer (Mijas), Aroma (Mijas), Pampa Tablas y Tapas (Mijas), Museo del Vino (Mijas) and Bodega el Tostón in Fuengirola.

Do you like hiking ? Go to the tourist information office in Mijas / they provide free maps of hiking tracks.

We advise to rent a car during your stay in Mijas. Car rental in Spain is very affordable. Outside the high season you can rent a car as of 6 euros per day. We normally rent a car with www.malagaairportcarhire.com
