Lovely cottage in beautiful area.

  • 5 of 5

This is a pretty cottage in a very sweet village. Emma was great at communicating with us throughout our booking process. The cottage is well appointed and beautifully refurbished. The children loved playing in the garden. It is a great base from which to explore Dorset. We loved it.

Picturesque thatched cottage beautifuly presented.

  • 5 of 5

I experienced easy and pleasant booking with excellent communication and follow up.

The cottage is well presented with many small details attended to, ensuring this cottage is not an average holiday let. For example, the welcome pack, crisp white linen, toiletries, books, DVDs etc…

A good location for touring. We did a day trip to Stonehenge and Salisbury followed by another to the Jurassic coast as well as local towns.

The only thing I did not find were microwave dishes, though not a problem.

Highly recommended.

Tranquil haven

  • 5 of 5

The cottage lived up to its description in every way. As well as the lovely interior decoration, position and tranquillity it was all the extra touches that made the stay so lovely: fresh coffee and Hotel Chocolat chocolates, wine, biscuits, local cheese and butter as well as fresh flowers in every room - there were even treats and china bowls for our dogs!

Thank you so much.

Beautiful cottage

  • 5 of 5

The property was situated in the loveliest quaint village, exactly what I was hoping for. The cottage itself was beautiful; it was clean, had pretty much everything we needed and was wonderfully cosy sitting in the lounge of an evening.

A wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

Such a cosy and beautiful cottage! We had a wonderfully comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings, both in and around the cottage. Emma was great to communicate with and all the extra touches from a Welcome Tray to toiletries and luxurious beds were much appreciated. This is a lovely part of the world and as our stay was only three nights we know there is much more left to explore so we hope return one day.

"A chocolate box gem"

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful, cosy property. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable for our 3 day stay. The house book gave clear instructions on how the appliances worked and other information was good. The wood burners we lit in the evening gave a lovely warm cosy feel throughout the cottage. All the bed linen was of exceptional quality and the bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable. We were provided with lovely soaps and fluffy towels too. The owners have decorated and furnished this property with good taste and when we arrived there were lovely vases of flowers in each room. A tray of biscuits, wine and chocolates were left for us with cheese in the fridge. A lovely welcome! The owner is easily contactable if needed. We visited many attractions locally and within a 30 min drive including the Jurassic coast. Lots to see and do from this location. This is a super property to stay in and my family and I would highly recommend it.
