'Casita De La Vista' is a modern, beautiful, 2 bedroom apartment located in a quiet complex in the Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen. It is situated right on the edge of 'Los Mojones', the most exclusive part of the Old Town, and centrally located just behind the 'Biosfera' shopping centre. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has all mod cons to make your holiday a relaxing one. It boasts a lovely large patio/dining and BBQ area, and the complex pool, kiddies pool and pool bar are a couple of minutes walk away. Buses and taxis are all very close by. Within a 5-10 minute walk are the shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants of the famous 'Old Town' harbour of Puerto Del Carmen, where you can find anything from Irish bars with entertainment, local Spanish fish and tapas restaurants, or even our local fish and chip shop! The local beach 'Playa Chica' is perfect for snorkeling, and is a 5-10 minute walk. The main beaches and promenade are 15 minutes walk.

ali is very helpful with booking and sorting things out, the villa itself is clean and brilliantly located i believe its ali's mum who does the cleaning shes so friendly and patient she will help with anything throuroughly enjoyed everyday staying there thank you for a great time will be booking again so so soon!

Great little apartment.

Super little 2 bed apartment, very clean, very compact but designed to make it feel bigger than it's size, well done. On arrival was very impressed by the cleanliness and the great welcome pack 10/10 (many miss this trick, or are just too greedy to spend a few euros) Brilliant, great location, loved the pool (once we could get in!!!!) good views from the pool / bar area, German run and very clean and helpful if a little pricey. Good parking outside the apartment, great breeze flowing through the place, much needed, and really enjoyed the 9 Day stay, highly recommended.

Only 2 niggles, first 'come on just pay the scandalous sky TV subscription' if your advertising the fact it has it, pay up, anne made excuse that everybody is in same situation that sky has pulled the plug!! no just everybody else has paid for it (porkie).

The second as stated before in reviews, 5 days without a swipe card for entry to pool!! last visitor left in their wallet? Get a spare, easy.

Wonderful accommodation and complex

The apartment is spotless, modern and well equipped with everything you would need for a family of 4, kids aged 5 and 9 loved it! We had lots of questions when booking and Alison the owner was always very helpful and Ann who met us at the apartment was lovely, she had left us some essentials of milk, bread, water, ham, cheese and butter for our arrival at 5pm and when she called the next day she gave us lots of advice on things to do and the best places to eat! We stayed for 11 nights and Ann came and cleaned and changed the beds and towels after 7 days aswel. All the beaches, shops and restaurants were as described easily reached on foot within 5-10 mins depending on whether you have a 5 year old with you but it is quite hilly but this wasn't a problem for us as we like to walk and prefer not to have a car! The airport is litrally 10mins away, we jumped in a taxi on the way out and booked a transfer for our return. The pool area is clean and well looked after and is a 2min walk from the apartment straight over the road and through the complex and the pool bar serves all drinks and light bites and the staff are really friendly! We loved the small beach Playa Chica for fantastic snorkeling and the boys enjoyed jumping off the jetty into the sea! We also went to Rancho Texas on the only cloudy day, its a zoo/waterpark which is 5 mins by taxi and that was a lovely day out. Would highly recommend this apartment for its high standards and easy access to everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Family stay at casita july 2016

Great little apartment, Good location, room for 4, everything you could need. Just spent 9 days with the Girls (4 in total) do not hesitate in booking this apartment would go back tomorrow. As other reviews state, clean, tidy, towels, beach towels, everything you need was sorted right down to the welcome pack of bread, milk, cheese, ham and water, very professional thankyou ann and alison. Pool area was great always room for us at anytime, Great view over the bay from there, Good mix of different nationalities around the pool including the German lady around the pool bar, here you can get snacks and Good food and even better ice cool beer and cracking service from the staff, really wonderful if a little pricey (3 euro for a beer!!!).

Only 2 little gripes, the first was the previous guest at the apartment had taken home the swipe card to gain access to the pool area, this was sorted after 5 days by anne who looks after the place. The 2nd was that the tv hardly worked at all, and when you've two teenagers and a wife that likes to keep up with the soaps, not good. The owner is well aware of this and should make people aware of the problem, anne did appologise up front and said it was a problem all over the island with the sky contract!!, sorry but i think this was a porkie as everyone else around including the bars extra and the lady next door had no issues!!!!!!.

But 5 stars it still gets, (we all know sky is a rip off but, if your advertising you have it and charging top dollar for your apartment then theirs no excuse, sorry) Thanks again and as stated highly recommended.

A Great stay

We arrived at Casita de la Vista and was very pleased it was very clean quiet and a nice out look inside it was spotless every thing you could want was there not far to shops harbour and restaurants when we come to Lanzarote again we will come to this apartment

Great place for children

Fantastic accommodation, looks even better than the pictures as it must have been refurbished since they were taken. We went with our 19 month old son and it was perfect for a toddler. Cot and bedding provided, high chair, loads of little toys that he loved to play with- could have left ours at home! Accommodation extremely clean. Very well stocked kitchen. Lovely 'welcome pack' of food that was perfect for our lunchtime arrival. Great that towels and beach towels were provided. First class service from the owners with prompt response to queries.

Location- approximately 10 minute walk to the lovely harbour area with great restaurants. Same distance to nearest beach. Supermarket around 5 minutes walk away. Swimming pools great but not heated so quite cold in March!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The local beach in the Old Town is called 'Playa Chica' and is only a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. This beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling or just chilling out in the sun. At weekends you will find the locals down here with their BBQs and beer!

The main sandy white beaches of Puerto Del Carmen are to be found along the main boulevard, which is only 15 mins walk from the apartment. Further afield you can find the white beaches of Papagayo, near Playa Blanca about 25 mins drive.

Travel:

'Colina Del Sol' complex is only 10 mins drive/taxi ride from Arrecife airport. Taxis and buses are readily available outside the 'Biosfera' shopping centre which is 2 mins walk from the apartment. We are very happy to advise you on recommended car hire companies if required during your stay, although car hire is not essential with all amenities within walking distance.

Distances:

Casita De La Vista is on the complex 'Colina Del Sol'. This is located in the Old town of Puerto Del Carmen. It is very easy to get taxis and buses to most parts of the island from the Old Town.

The capital town 'Arrecife' is 10 mins drive, or 15 min bus ride away and you can get on or off a bus anywhere along the main boulevard.

Costa Teguise is 20 mins drive, or 40 mins bus ride - same bus stops as for Arrecife.

Playa Blanca is 30 mins drive or 45 mins bus ride. Buses go from the Old Town.

Further Details:

We are situated minutes from the Old Town Harbour with shops, Biosfera shopping centre, and numerous bars and restaurants offering good food, great views of the harbour and nice ambiance. About 15 minutes walk is the Main Boulevard (or 'Strip' as the locals call it) where you can find local shops, supermarkets, tapas bars, restaurants, taxi rank, local bus route and the lively Central Atlantico with its live music and entertainment.

Island tours are also available: Mirador Del Rio, Timanfaya (Fire Mountain), Jameos Del Agua and Cueva De Los Verdes (Green Caves) are all worth a visit whilst on Lanzarote.

Also leisure activities including scuba diving, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, golf, horse riding, go karting etc are available.

There are at least 4 supermarkets within a 4-5 minute stroll. Banks and Pharmacies are also within the same walking distance.

Booking Notes:
Tariff rates are for up to 2 persons staying in the apartment. There is a charge of £65.00 per week for every extra person up to 4. (Including cot and highchair) £100 per week deposit payable on confirmation of bookings. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. We also take a £100 security/breakages deposit when the final balance is paid, and this is refunded at the end of your holiday. All guests should have holiday insurance.

Changeover Day:
Bookings are normally from 14:00 hours to 10:00 hours, any day. We can be flexible on late checkout, depending on whether we have other guests arriving, and there is a surcharge for this. Please note that all guests should have holiday insurance.
