" We had a lovely short break, enjoyed the farm animals very much, delicious eggs, a beautiful peaceful location"- Mr Joyce.

We would like to thank you for such a lovely holiday at Swan Street Barn June 6 to 18 June. We feel so rested and relaxed after our stay everything was to such a high standard and beautiful surroundings. My husband had a doctors appointment on our return and for the first time in 3 years his blood pressure was spot on.(Our doctor asked for the web site). I am going on the web site to book for November to set us up for Christmas. Thank you once again, highly recommended. Ralph and Sylvia Aberdeen.

What a brilliant relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting, hoping to return very soon. Global Honeys:buddies (US, UK China)!

We had a brilliant weekend, the weather was beautiful, the barn was lovely, and we loved the animals. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, the eggs and sausages were very good! Morgan, Blisses and Penny's.

Idyllic Kent countryside. Very comfortable modern home. Facilitated my family of 7 very well.

Thanks Joanna... the only thing was the shower in the master- once we got the heat down after my wife took a shower there was water on the floor next to the stairs so we didn't use it at all after that, so it was a little inconvenient to have to go down the hall to wash. Looking at the beams you can see various areas you have had leakage in other areas as well. Other than that we loved everything and would absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises!

Exceeded expectations!

  • 5 of 5

I booked this as a surprise birthday celebration for my husband. There were 9 family members with age range from 5 to 75. We had a good old fashioned birthday party and the spacious barn allowed us plenty of room.

The bedrooms were amazing and the whole barn finished to a very high standard. There was a large range cooker which allowed us to cook full English breakfasts for both vegetarians and non alike (there was a thoughtfully provided basket of provisions provided by Joanna which included delicious pork sausages, a dozen home laid eggs, local apple juice and jam). After breakfast we explored the small holding and saw the chickens, pigs, sheep and Shetland ponies. There are also some beautiful, but very noisy peacocks! All in all a wonderful barn in a lovely location. I hope we have reason to hire again and would definitely recommend to everyone.

The garden of Eden, Kent

  • 5 of 5

We took three French couples for their first ever trip to England. This property and its position in Kent was a "Zut alors!" From start to finish. Lovely fixtures and fittings, fab kitchen, a warm welcome and great location just about sums up this gorgeous house. The amorous peacock on the roof and a couple of low beams got everyone's attention, as did the local pubs, villages, country lanes, views, gardens, Whitstable, Tenterden and its railway, Faversham, Chilham etc etc. Merci beaucoup for a great experience.

We stayed with friends at Swan Street Barn to celebrate our forthcoming wedding. The barn was absolute lovely and well equiped with everything you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all great and decorated to a very high standard. The welcome pack left was a really lovely gesture. Joanna was very friendly and was also quick to mend a light bulb when needed. Thanks for a great weekend.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 1 week in this beautiful barn, it was very well equipped and exceptionally clean. the kitchen had all the necessary equipment required. the grandchildren went to the adjoining farm every day to feed the horses and really enjoyed themselves. My 83 year old mother really enjoyed her stay and spent many hours watching the peacocks and birds in the gardens. We explored the kent coast and the local sights. it was very peaceful place to stay and we will certainly return in the future. We met Joanna on the 3rd day and found her very kind and helpful.
