Swan Street Barn is set within the grounds of 15th century hall house, in idyllic Kent countryside. Swan Street Barn is a traditional 17th Century Kentish barn, lovingly converted to provide the most modern comforts, complementing the historic timber frame. The barn offers very spacious, luxury accommodation, perfect for families. It is situated on a small holding guests are welcome to walk round and enjoy the animals. The historic villages of Charing and Lenham are only minutes away with numerous restaurants and local shops. Local pub with good food 5 minutes walk. Near to Leeds Castle and the cathedral city of Canterbury. A short drive into the heart of the Weald with its charming villages and historic attractions. Both Kent coasts can be reached within 20 minutes, including the fishing town of Whitstable famed for its oysters, to the north, and Dover with its historic castle and white cliffs to the south. Golfers have numerous courses to choose from.Other outdoor pursuits include miles of beautiful walks such as the Pilgrims Way on the North downs, and not forgetting the cycling and horse riding.

We would like to thank you for such a lovely holiday at Swan Street Barn June 6 to 18 June. We feel so rested and relaxed after our stay everything was to such a high standard and beautiful surroundings. My husband had a doctors appointment on our return and for the first time in 3 years his blood pressure was spot on.(Our doctor asked for the web site). Stunning Barn and stay

A beauty of a cottage, so much space for a family get together and trip away from the big cities.

Caters for a big group so plenty of space, bathrooms and a big fridge to stock up!

Joanna was lovely and came over very briefly to say hi and when we had a problem with the dishwasher.

Perfect family holiday

Seven of our family spent four days in this beautiful barn celebrating my mums 84th birthday. Ages ranged from 6 - 84 and because the barn is so large and spacious it was perfect.

A truly beautiful barn that allows you to have a home away from home experience!

First impressions of Swan Street Barn were stunning. Open plan living room with so much space for a large family to spend a few days, situated on beautiful land with just a few peacocks to keep you company. The barn had everything you could possibly need to make your holiday as relaxing as possible.

We enjoyed trips out to Port Lympne animal reserve, Hastings and even a trip on the Kent and East Sussex steam train to Bodium Castle. All located within 30minutes of the barn. Just perfect! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing

A fantastic stay

Thank you so much for our fabulous holiday. The house was beautiful, in a picturesque setting and large enough for 12 people for a week.

It has a great location - near to Leeds Castle and Canterbury - and was the perfect base for a relaxing week.

Check in time is after 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and Check out time is before 10.00.am. on the day of departure. Late check outs are available on request.

Maximum occupancy at any one time 10 people, including visitors.

The barn is not suitable for 10 adults - it provides accommodation for a combination of 6 to 8 adults and 2 to 4 children not exceeding maximum group size of 10 persons. 2 babies in travel cots can be accommodated in addition to the 10 person maximum.

Please note that additional persons that exceed the maximum persons on arrival may be asked to leave.
