Holiday Home in Villamartin, Nr. Torrevieja, Costa Blanca - Peaceful Location 5 minutes drive from Beaches and surrounded by 4 Golf Courses

This is an area where there is plenty to do, with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. There are four cities within an hour's drive- Alicante, Elche, Murcia and Cartegena and two major international airports Alicante and Murcia. 3 championship Golf Courses within 5 minutes drive from this property. The house has a good size front garden, a drive way, patio area outside. inside, a large lounge and dining area, kitchen, utility room, shower room with wc and twin bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs a master bedroom with balcony, twin bedroom, and 4 piece bathroom. The road serving the property is a private road in between the Avalon development and is also a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic, thus very quiet and child friendly. The communal swimming pool is set in lovely gated communal gardens and is an "infinity" type pool with a separate area for small children.

WiFi :- The most cost effective method is to purchase local ORANGE Sim for 15 Euro for a month 2 Gigabyte data allowance plus calls . For group, to still purchase ORANGE Sim plus a Router called MyFi, costs 85 Euros supports up to 5 devices and after your stay can be used anywhere in the world with any sim or local sim.

Clean tidy nice

Got to the property at around 1am chap was there to meet us no moaning, no hassle, really easy.

Property was clean tidy with everything you need.

Pool was a stonesthrow away well maintained

Very good value for money

Dont believe the wingers at the end of the day this property is a rental at a VERY GOOD PRICE

If you want 5 star expect to pay a grand more.

Great location for Family holiday and a good price

We stayed in this property for 2 weeks for our main summer holiday this year, the property had everything we needed for out stay and was in a great location, we were a family of 2 adults and 3 young children aged 9, 6 and 2.

There was plenty do do in the area and the main VillaMartin Plazza was only 5 minutes walk.

The beds were a little uncomfortable but we have brought this to the owners attention and he has said they will be replaced in the next few weeks.

All the neighbours were very friendly,

The pool is a great size and we spent many of our afternoons there,

great week away with my teenage son

cracking villa , great value for money . I went with my 14 year old which was a shame as we rattled around a bit , the villa easily sleeps 6., with 3 bedrooms a bathroom & shower room. Air con in every room , was great. 50 yards from a great communal pool , while we were there it was never over crowded. 5-10 mins walk from the main villamartin square. 5 minute drive to the zenia boulevard mall & 2 minutes further to the beach.

everything was as promised even the key collection was from the villa opposite, so no hanging around when we arrived.

fantastic value will definitely book next time i'm in the area.

Excellent stay, fair and straightforward owner

A quick getaway for eight days, planned literally just a couple of weeks ahead, quite last minute. I was looking for a quiet area, few tourists, couple of minutes from the sea by car. This was a perfect match and was reasonably priced. Li was responding quickly to requests, everything was going as planned. Communal pool is good to swim in, and is very close, two houses away. Easy to get around, Torrevieja ~10 minutes, La Zenia shopping center ~5 minutes by car. Very nice area, very good for relaxing. I recommend this house and I recommend Li to do business with.

In need of some TLC

We are a family of four who have hired properties all over Europe and beyond. The property is on a lovely complex with a great pool. The property is in a good position and lovely size and was very clean but there the good points end. The property has not been updated or maintained. Within our two weeks stay the fridge, washing machine, electrics, kettle and out door furniture had broken or broken down. The beds are old and springs were evident, resulting in little sleep. We were supplied with one set of bedding and one towel each for two weeks. There were no mattress protectors. There is insufficient outdoor sunloungers for four and no furniture on the balcony. There is no wifi as advertised. The hob must be used with care as it is so warn that you cannot read the dials and which one you are turning on. When the owner was contacted on our return we were told we had abused the property, he was rude and unapproachable. He made no effort to apologise for the numerous inconveniences and loss of money that we experienced. If it hadnt been for the key holders who live opposite our holiday would have been totally ruined. I would go back to Villamartin but not to this property. A very disappointing experience and one that has put me of hiring properties abroad.

Owner's Response: I am clearly disappointed with this guests review. Addressing the points: The fridge was replaced ASAP within 2 days to avoid any issues even though the opinion of the electrician was old fridge was working but perhaps not efficiently. There were EXTENSIVE breakages that had happened with this guest that have not occurred when other people have stay over the years. The bedding was brought to my attention after their stay, the defective mattress has been replaced and not having mattress protectors on each bed was news to me. I have since asked the property manager to provide 2 sets of bedding per bed from now on and ensure a mattress protector per bed. I did thank the guest for pointing this out to me and matter has now been addressed. All breakages have been replaced, garden furniture has to be reasonable numbers to leave room to move around. Property sleeps up to eight people, eight sun lounges would not be practical. The WIFI I can arrange at cost to the guests but in the past there have been more issues than benefits. I discussed this with the guest at a great length back on 1st February 2015 (emails) at the time of the booking and was agreed that they will make their own arrangements. Most guest take out their own packages for security reasons and to avoid last minute issues. The Aircon is provided to be used responsibly, the feed back I had was it was abused with 24/7 use irrespective of guests in the house or not and with windows and doors left open. This sort of attitude will results in future guests paying higher prices. I am looking at methods that makes it fair for all guests in the future. Numbers on the hob not there? news to me, All hob controls that have a definite click at ON/OFF, please look at yours at home. I am due to visit end of September and if its an issue than hob will be replaced. As a general comment The feedback I have from the neighbors and people using the pool that unfortunately these guests were more interested in winging and negativity than enjoying their holidays. These guests paid very little for their 2 weeks in peak period of AUGUST on top of that they demand compensation on their return which I refused From the out set but to draw a line under the matter agreed to return their deposit in full. Very occasionally things do wrong and I feel everything was addressed as soon as it was practicable by the property manager and irrespective of type of review I received from this guest, I refused to be blackmailed.
