Myself and my partner Claire and daughter Alice Mary live in West Yorkshire, UK.
We both have demanding jobs and with the added responsibilities a small baby brings look forward to our time spent in our apartment in Cyprus.

We have been holidaying in eastern Cyprus for a number of years - primarily to visit my sister who is married to a Greek Cypriot.
We fell in love with the area, the weather and the people so decided as we would be visiting regularly in the future to purchase our own place so we could have more creature comforts than those provided by the hotel/apartments we had previously stayed in.
We decided to buy in Kapparis specifically as we felt it gave us everything we needed as a location for our holiday home.
It has fantastic local beaches, great bars and restaurants but still retains a more relaxed and less developed feel to it than the busier local resorts (however both Protaras and Ayia Napa are within easy reach if we fancied reliving our youth for a night or 2 during our stay!!)
We set out to create a 'home from home' feel for our apartment. Having viewed a number of more traditionally furnished apartments we decided to furnish the apartment with a more modern feel so imported the majority of furniture, fixtures and fittings from the UK.
We feel we have thought of everything a family would need whilst on holiday and also since we are now parents ourselves have considered the needs of young families also.
The particular elements of our apartment we love are
- the penthouse location which provides excellent privacy compared to other apartments which can be overlooked
- the massive outside terrace which is a suntrap all day long and great in the evenings for alfresco dining and socialising
- the interior specification
- the cool and quiet back bedrooms.
Prior to our arrival at the apartment the owner, Rob, dealt with all our questions efficiently and took time to suggest places of interest that we may visit during our time in Cyprus, even recommending an excellent car firm company that took us from the airport to the apartment free of charge!! The necessary paperwork was easy to complete and was dealt with quickly and efficiently. On arrival at the apartment we were more than satisfied with the apartment as well as the location, it was all perfect. Idyllic beaches with crystal clear waters and friendly tavernas were all within walking distance and others only a short drive away. The apartment itself was very well equipped and as stated in the advertisement, really a ‘home from home’ environment. The children loved the pool, which to their delight was never overcrowded.
On returning from our holiday, Rob even e-mailed us to check that the apartment had been to our satisfaction and our deposit was returned promptly.

Well maintained property with large balcony. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom . A large selection of music and films to watch. Rob was helpful and a good communicator. I would stay again.
Had been waiting in anticipation for this holiday and it didn't disappoint. The apartment is on a lovely quiet complex which is situated at the far end of Kapparis....just perfect for myself and my partner who wanted a break with plenty of peace.
There was everything you would need in an apartment and we were able to make a number of meals as we didn't always want to eat out each night.
The terrace is great for sitting out on a morning and was perfect setting for an evening meal.
The area around has everything you need - a Lidl or alternatively as Asda equivalent called Metro as well as reasonably priced restaurants and tavernas.

We loved it, fantastic apartment all you need for a perfect holiday. Cyprus is such a beautiful Island, friendly people will definitely be returning. Highly recommend The Cove bar run by a British couple, they made us so welcome. Loved it, loved it, loved it !
We recently enjoyed a lovely family holiday at White Rose apartment in Kapparis. The apartment was very well equipped with a fabulous sun terrace. The location of the apartment was excellent just round the corner from all bars and restaurants.
The apartment lacked nothing, well equipped and fantastic balcony. As we are in our 60's, we found the low beds a challenge, but that is the only thing which was not perfect for us. Lovely to have wine and beer waiting for us, which we of course replaced.
Close to Restaurants, with just a gentle incline to overcome on the way back.
If I was coming back to this area, I would definitely come back here.

Coast/Beach:
Excellent local beach (firemans) within 10 mins walk/2mins drive. Other local beaches within 15/20 mins walk/5 min drive.
10 mins drive to Protoras - fig tree bay beach etc.
15mins drive to Ayia Napa -nissi beach etc.
Cape Greco national park area within 10 mins drive - ideal for walking/scuba diving/snorkelling.
Excellent coastal path linking Kapparis (from Firemans beach) to Protaras (paved and lit from Pernera to Protaras)
Northern Cyprus border access within 10 mins drive.
Travel:
Larnaca airport is nearest airport to apartment - approx 45mins transfer time via car (we can advise on car hire options or taxi transfer).
Paphos airport at western end of island is also an option although transfer time (via motorway equivalent road) will be around 2 hours.
Distances:
2 mins walk to Kapparis village.
5 mins drive to Paralimni.
10 mins drive to Protoras.
15 mins drive to Ayia Napa.

Hopefully you will find our apartment a real home from home - it was purchased in 2007 but we have only recently started letting the apartment out to guests so it is still in pristine condition. We have furnished and equipped it to be homely rather than a sparse and 'cold' holiday rental - we think we have really thought of everything you would need to enjoy a fantastic stress free holiday.
Because of the way we use the apartment as a family unfortunately we are intending restricting our bookings to couples and family parties only.
We chose Kapparis as our holiday home location as we feel it has everything you need within walking distance but is still very close to the more developed tourist areas of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Kapparis has a very good selection of bars ranging from the traditional pub to modern wine bars. It has 3 fantastic restaurants and a number of more traditional but excellent eataries. There are 2 local supermarkets, a hairdressers, coffee shop, bakery, off licence and cash point all within easy walk from the apartment. We do recommend car hire to enable guests to enjoy all the area has to offer, but if you would prefer not to hire a car, there is a very good public bus service nearby which travels to most local tourist spots.
Full details of all our favourite places are included in the information pack provided in the apartment - we have been travelling to and staying in the Famagusta area of Cyprus for the past 15 years so can advise on most areas of interest and even direct guests to off the beaten track restaurants/points of interest if required.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit payable upon confirmation of booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival inc £150 breakages deposit which is refundable upon satisfactory inspection by our managing agents in Cyprus. Rental contract will be required to be signed upon payment of deposit to protect both parties. The apartment is non smoking and pets are not allowed. Wi-Fi Internet access is payable by guests if required during stay (2 week access = 30 euros - payable direct to Internet Provider).
Changeover Day:
Saturday/Sunday but other days may be available depending on adjacent bookings (please ask).
Guests can gain access from 3pm on the day of arrival and are asked to vacate by 11am (flexible depending upon flight times/cleaning requirements).
Please note stays of 3 days or less will require cleaning fee of 40 euros payable direct to management company on arrival (in addition to quoted rental fees)
