Villa Goldeneye is a unique and quite stunning 3 story villa complete with ground floor self contained annex. Situated in peaceful area in the mountain village of Ovacik. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms both have balconies with views of the magnificent Babadag mountain, whilst the master bedroom gives access to a huge semi circular balcony with spectacular views towards distant mountains. Another very large balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens is accessed from lounge and kitchen and is perfect for leisurely "al fresco" dining and relaxing "sundowner" evening drinks. The garden is large and has ample space for loungers tables and umbrellas which are supplied. There is also a handmade wrought iron gazebo which comfortably seats 12 people. 2mins walk to the recently opened Aquapark. Hisaronu is only a 10min stroll with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops. 5 mins drive to the spectacular beaches of Oludeniz and 15min drive to the beautiful port harbor town of Fethiye.
I was born and raised in Istanbul. After completing a degree in maths and engineering. I eventually decided I wanted to build and run a small hotel in south west of Turkey. Having previously visited the beautiful coastline around Olu Deniz I realized this was where I wanted to be based.
In 2000 I finally realized my dream and my hotel was built.
The Hotel Cypriot has been my main business for the last 10 years with many repeat British and Turkish guests.
In 2005 I bought a beautiful plot of land in Ovacik and went on to design and build Villa Goldeneye which was completed and furnished in 2008.
As the villa is fairly close to the hotel guests have the assurance of knowing any problems or snags will be addressed immediately.
Erkan purchased this villa in 2005
The plot is situated in a peaceful hillside area in the village of Ovacik. It has delightful views across the village and valleys in one direction and fabulous views of the mountains in the other direction.
It is very close to all amenities and is an ideal base for exploring the area around Fethiye, Olu Deniz and beyond.
One of the main benefits of this villa is that has a purpose built self contained annex. When talking to many holiday makers I have found that although they enjoy coming on holiday with other friends and family it is also important that they can have their "own space" from time to time.
Villa Goldeneye offers this facility which many other large villas don't.
As the annex is on the ground floor it makes it easier for children and the elderly to gain access.
I recently spent a wonderful 10 day break at Goldeneye; being a regular visitor to the area I can honestly say it is by far the best accommodation I have had and will definitely return.
The villa looks great on the web page but far exceeded our expectations. The views both near and far cannot be captured to their full by camera alone.
The accommodation is spacious light, airy with balconies providing panoramic views on every floor. The decoration and furnishings are of good quality and comfortable. All the bedrooms are good sized doubles with lots of hanging space! The garden area is huge, colourfull and along with a private pool there is lots of outside space with tasteful furnishings and even a BBQ.
The villa is situated on a corner plot away from noisy night spots but only a 3-4 minute walk from the Dolmus making access to beaches and Fethiye very easy. There are shops and restaurants within 3-4 minutes walk.
The owner Erkan was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Amazing villa, large rooms lovely pool and fantastic views. Erkan an Ahmed couldn't have done more to ensure our stay was perfect. Great location very quiet and not overlooked, 2 minute walk to nearest shops and bars. Taxi button right outside and arrive in minutes. Only one negative was the lack of a tv. When it's too hot to sit in the sun it would have been nice just to cool down inside to watch a film. Not a big problem still give 5stars and would recommend to anyone
When we arrived at Villa Goldeneye we were I awe of the size and facilities available in the property. Booking the villa was made very easy by Erkan the owner, he also arranged our transfers. At the time of our arrival he was away on family business but his assistant Ahmet looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble and if we need anything we would contact him and any problems, etc were dealt with immediately. My husband and I went with our son and daughter and their partners for 10 days, can honestly say it was one of our best ever holidays none of us wanted to leave. The area is beautiful, hisaronu and oludinez are both just a short distance away. Hisaronu can be walked in 10 minutes, oludinez can be reached by either a short journey in a dolmus which pass by frequently or a taxi. At the villa gate is a button to press which summons a taxi and will be with you in a few minutes. Cannot praise this villa and region of turkey highly enough. This place is a must visit, both the place and the people are amazing ❤
Villa Goldeneye IS as beautiful as it appears to be on this listing. If anything is deceptive about the listing it is that the pool is actually bigger than it looks on the photographs - bonus!
The owner Erkan is the friendliest and most helpful person you're ever likely to meet, (he is also extremely polite and respectful of privacy if ever he comes to the villa), solving a couple of minor problems during our stay with the absolute minimum of fuss or trouble.
The area the villa is set in is lovely too, as it fronts on to some grass / scrub which apparently will never be built on, so it feels quite open & spacious even though there are other villas nearby, and surrounded by mountains in the distance (try & be up for at least one sunrise during your stay - SPECTACULAR!!).
There are also a HUGE selection of restaurants & cafes nearby, including the Seashell restaurant about 200 yards staggering distance away - which serves amazing food at ridiculously cheap prices (review on Trip adviser).
We hired a car (which Erkan can also arrange) - but the Dolmus public bus stops about 50yds away & are modern vehicles & seriously cheap.
The pool and gardens are maintained daily and are above ANY criticism, the kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner (sticky kitchen handles / hair on the bathroom floor) and some of the bathroom fittings are beginning to show their age, but my wife IS hyper-critical of such things! And overall these didn't detract from our overall enjoyment one bit!
We have recently returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday staying at the Villa Goldeneye in Ovacik. The villa is lovely, very spacious and the kitchens were well equipped including a microwave, washer and dish washer. We didn't do that much cooking at the villa prefering to go out to one of the numerous local restaurants or have a bbq. Really good is the water coolers which saved us a lot of money and hassle.
We were met by Erkan the owner who showed us round and gave us some tips for our stay. He was only a text message away if needed and his hotel was also local. Erkan was very helpful during our stay and also booked us a private boat trip which was fab and one we would very much recommend.
The balcony on the middle floor from the kitchen/lounge was great for morning breakfast with lovely views to the mountains in the distance. We used the gazebo for lunches and when neccessary a break from the sun! Although there were plenty of sunbeds with umbrellas supplied. Pool was lovely and great for cooling off.
It was a 5 minute walk down to the main road to catch the dolmus to the main town and to the beaches. We didn't get a car but with the dolmus it was easy enough to get around.
All in all a lovely villa in a great location. We were glad of the cooling breeze from the mountains!
