Cabanas Beach is a 15 minute walk from the apartment and can be accessed via a 1 minute boat trip from the harbour. With extensive white beaches and a coffee/snack bar and 2 bars, this is an ideal getaway.

Tavira Beach 15 minutes away by train, bus or taxi. This is a busier beach with more restaurants and bars. There is a ferry over to this beach too.

Travel:

Faro Airport is a 40 minute taxi/car journey, but is the apartment is easliy accessed via train or bus.

Distances:

Tavira town is a five minute bus, train or car journey from Cabanas and Spain is approximately 30 minutes journey by train of car.

Further Details:

Nearby there are several excellent grocers where you can get everything you need. There is a market in Cabanas and a large shopping centre a 5 minute bus/taxi ride away.

Cabanas and Tavira have lovely restaurants and there is plenty choice for every taste.

Eating out is very cheap compared to other areas of the Algarve.

Very easy to arrange activities eg boat trips, water parks, shopping, golf etc

Nice apartment within close distance of lovely small town with many restaurants

Well presented and large property with shared pool. Could do with more sunshades at pool and a shame that there is no access to pool from rear of property.

Takes about 20-30 mins to walk to town centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars (there are a few restaurants closer than this). From centre you can take a short boat ride (5 mins) across to the beach. The picturesque town of Tavira is only 4km away and is well worth visiting both in day time and evening.

It is a shame that you can't go through the front but I chose that apartment specifically because of the location overlooking the pool plus the security. Sunshades are an annual problem and we replace a good number every year. Unfortunately there are guests who do not look after them. Hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards Craig

Lovely, peaceful holiday

we had a fabulous time at Craig's apartment. The kids loved the pool, and we did too. The apartment was lovely and Craig was great at answering my many questions in the build up to the holiday.

Jeff-who manages the apartment - was really helpful too.

The walk to the boardwalk was a tough on the kids in 35 degree heat, but we wouldn't have missed eating and drinking by the water front. I was really pleasantly surprised by the whole place really. Cabanas was lovely and we may well be returning, and to this apartment.

Relaxing Holiday

Really enjoyable family of 5 holiday, great area, very clean pool with plenty of sun loungers. The apartment was finished well and has a lovely view over the pool.

This is one of the first holidays where we did not need to hire a car. Craig organised a taxi from the airport and we used them to have a great day out at the waterpark and a trip to Tavira shopping mall. The rest of the time we went by train or walked into Cabanas and took the water taxi to the beach.

The local restaurants were fantastic and the entertainment at the Vert'in on Saturday night was a good laugh.

The only things that would have improved our holiday would have been a second set of keys with another fob to enter the pool and according to our girls the sofa bed in the lounge was not very comfortable.

Craig was very easy and helpful to deal with and I would highly recommend his apartment.

Excellent spacious and well equipped apartment, with a great balcony overlooking a fantastic pool

This is an excellent apartment, was spotlessly clean and really well equipped with air con, dishwasher, washing machine, TV etc. It has two twin bedrooms, an en-suite and separate bathroom, with a great living room and kitchen area. It also has a fantastic balcony overlooking a really well maintained and lovely clean pool area. The pool also has its own toilet and shower facilities, all lovely and clean.

We arrived by car and the the apartment has ample parking space. The apartment and surrounding areas felt really safe and secure.

The apartment manager who met us on arrival was really helpful and made himself easily accessible throughout our holiday if we had any questions or problems.

The apartment is just 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main restaurants and bars. Cabanas is a great resort with fantastic beaches and really friendly locals.

The apartment owner was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole booking process really easy, a very reliable and trustworthy owner who responded to our questions and queries promptly. I would definitely book this apartment again.

Excellent Apartment

Had a really nice holiday in this excellent apartment. Clean and very well equipped. Well located minutes from the little village of Concicao and a short walk to the strip in Cabanas. Excellent bars and cafes close by offering fantastic value for money. The beach at Cabanas has to be one of the best around. Thanks to Craig for making the whole booking process painless and to Wendy who met us on arrival and was so helpful.
