Notes on accommodation: There are wall mounted electric heaters for use in the cooler months. Please note that pets are not allowed, either in the apartment or in the apartment grounds. Smoking is not permitted. Wi-Fi access is freely available throughout the apartment. Outside: The freshwater salt swimming pool, approx 30 x 15 feet, is located within a private garden area screened by a low ranch-style fence and laurel hedging. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels, all bedlinen and end of stay cleaning are all included within the cost. Pool/beach towels are also included.

The nearest beach is El Golfet approx ten minutes walk from the apartment. There are several other beaches and small coves in Calella de Palafrugell all within a fifteen to twenty minute walk. There are several other bays and beaches within easy driving distance, in around fifteen to twenty minutes, including Llafranch, Tamariu, Begur, Castell, La Fosca and Palamos.


Nearest airports are Girona (RyanAir) 45 mins by car, Barcelona (several airlines including Easyjet) approx 90 mins by car. The ferry ports of Bilbao & Santander (Brittany Ferries from UK) are approx 8 hours away by car. Perpignan, France and French border approx 1 hour by car. Railway stations at Flaca, Girona and Barcelona.


Palafrugell 10 mins by car from the apartment.

Palamos 15 mins by car from the apartment.

Girona 45 mins by car, 1hr by bus.

Barcelona 1 1/2 hrs by car, 2 1/2 hrs by bus.

Further Details:

There is a wide variety of shops and boutiques, provisions stores as well as a large supermarket within Calella de Palafrugell centre. The nearby town of Palafrugell has several larger branded supermarkets and many other shops as well as separate meat/deli, fish and fruit and vegetable markets daily (except Mondays).

Three diving schools; 'Triton', 'Neptune' and 'Snorkel Offer facilities in the local area, based in the bays of Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc. They organise dives in and around the local coastline and provide for hire all equipment required. They also offer tuition for beginners and novices.

There is a waterpark at Platja D'Aro, approx. 20 minutes by car down the coast. Horse and pony riding facilities are also available nearby.

Other local facilities include mini golf, go-karting and paint ball.

For garden enthusiasts, the botanical gardens at Cap Roig are only a 9 minute walk from the apartment and are well worth a visit at any time of the year.

A loss/damage security deposit of £250.00 is also required and refunded after departure, subject to the terms and conditions of booking.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday although some flexibility can be made during the low season months.

Notes on prices:
The weekly price includes all linen and towels, including pool towels, as well as all laundry and cleaning costs upon departure. For two week stays, the linen and towels are changed and the apartment cleaned at the end of the first week. A Welcome Pack of basic provisions is also provided upon arrival. Unlimited secure Wi-Fi access is also included within the price. There are no other hidden charges.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking. The balance becomes payable 8 weeks prior to the rental date.
A loss/damage security deposit of £250.00 is also required and refunded after departure, subject to the terms and conditions of booking. Payments are made by private bank transfer directly to the owner.
