It has a large balcony and roof terrace so you can make the most of the sunshine. Vila Sol is one of the Algarve's most exclusive golf resorts. Vilamoura has many attractions and facilities, including six golf courses, a marina, a lawn bowling club, a tennis centre, night clubs, an international casino and easy access to fantastic beaches.

Why Jeremy Clark chose Loule region

We have always loved Portugal, and the Algarve in particular so when we decided to buy a holiday property it was an obvious choice. We chose this apartment at Sunset Villas because of its spacious design, large terraces and the landscaped gardens.

What makes this apartment unique

Vila Sol is an ideal holiday base in the Algarve, with its excellent amenities and central location. The gardens and pool at Sunset Villas are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the year-round sunshine. Nearby there are beaches, golf courses, restaurants, water parks and shopping. It is within easy driving distance of Vilamoura, Loule and Faro. Tavira, Olhao and Carvoeiro are fascinating little towns, all less than an hour's drive away. Further afield, Huelva and Seville can each be visited as a day trip.

We have fitted out the apartment to a high standard, making it modern and comfortable for a great holiday experience.

Notes on accommodation: High speed wireless internet is provided in the apartment. This is a non-smoking apartment: smoking is only allowed on the terraces and not inside. A cot is available on request - if required, please mention this when making your booking. Outside: 2 separate patio doors lead from the lounge onto the terrace, which has beautiful views over the communal landscaped gardens and pool. The terrace is equipped with a table with 6 chairs. A further set of steps leads to a spacious rooftop terrace, which receives the sun all day long. It is equipped with 4 sun-loungers. Utility Room: Washing machine, clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly cleaning, bathroom towels and bedlinen included.

Superb Apartment

What a fantastic apartment. Great communication when booking. Perfect location and base for relaxing in the April sun! Richard was very friendly, pleasant and informative when we arrived. Apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious for the 2 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy! Terraces were spacious, roof terrace (sun all day) was great for catching the sun in the morning (and the breeze) until the sun came round to the main terrace. We sat by the pool one morning .... being April, it wasn't busy at all and it was a very quiet complex. We could hear our neighbours downstairs and next door but it didn't bother us at all. Lidl was a 5 minute journey in the car - had everything we needed. We parked the car in the underground car park - was great to know the hire car was safe! The internet tv was an added bonus. Overall 5 out of 5 - we loved it and would like to thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. We would certainly like to return again.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We had a lovely holiday. Apartment was spotless, spacious and had everything you could possibly need and more in it. Everything had been catered for. We had Wi-Fi in the apartment which was such a bonus. Huge patio area and upstairs terrace all to ourselves so no rushing for loungers! It took us about 1 minute to walk to a lovely quiet pool area.

Oscars bar on site was very welcoming as was hotel which was just around the corner.

We rang Richard when we arrived at airport and again when we arrived on site and he met us within a few minutes. He took us to apartment and told us all we needed to know. So easy!

Will most definitely stay here again.

This apartment more than lives up to the description, very well presented, comfortable and immaculately clean. We found this a great base for exploring both Central & Eastern Algarve. We hope to return and will definitely be bringing the golf clubs. The apartment is professionally managed by Richard who is contactable to assist with any queries & our dealings with Jeremy the owner has been excellent from our initial contact to the timely return of our security deposit, which has not always been our experience when renting in the past.

Sunset Apartment

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this apartment whiich was exceptionally well appointed. The location next to the Vila Sol Golf course was ideal.The property is furnished and maintained to a very high standard and is located in a very quiet corner of the complex, with the advantage of the sun all day.A car is recommended.The Marina at Vilamoura, a 5 minute drive away, offers many restaurants and shopping.

wonderful apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in this marvellously equipped apartment. Everything was decorated to the very highest of standards and levels of comfort and was scrupulously clean. The location is only 20 minutes from Faro airport with Vilamoura only a few minutes drive away. There are several excellent supermarkets nearby which stock all the hungry holiday maker will ever need. Splendid sandy beaches are only a matter of minutes away and there is a great selection of restaurants in the vicinity. If you want to play golf on a fantastic course, enjoy a stroll on a picuresque beach or relax on a sunterrace with a favourite book, this is a wonderful apartment to make your holiday base in the Vilamoura area. We are already planning to return in 2014.

The Vila Sol Beach Club is a short drive away. A long stretch of soft, golden sand, this beach is spectacular and stretches for miles. The beachfront restaurants serve freshly caught sea-foods, and other local specialities with an excellent range of wine. Vilamoura marina and award winning Falesia Beach are only a five minute drive away.


Vila Sol is about 12 miles (20 mins) from Faro Airport. Comprehensive directions are available on request. A car is recommended, but taxi hire is readily available. We can arrange for airport transfer via our management company (at additional cost).


The Aqua Show is only 0.5 miles away. Quarteira 3 miles and Loule 5 miles.

Further Details:

Vale Do Lobo and Quinta Do Lago are both within easy reach.
