Apartment in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, Spain, 10 minute walk to beach. - 2 bedroom apartment. Easy access to all amenities. 10 Minute walk to the beach.

A conveniently positioned first floor apartment located near the centre of Fuengirola. It has easy access with ramp access into the building and a lift to the first floor. It is within easy walking to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, bars, shops and large weekly market. There is easy access from Malaga airport by train which is about a 10/15 minute walk from the apartment.

The shared swimming pool is located on the first floor which is very quiet and peaceful. You will also have access to a further two swimming pools with beautiful gardens and a bar/café on the main complex directly across the road.

The apartment consists of a double bedroom, twin bedroom, lounge, sunroom, bathroom, kitchen and an outdoor washing/drying area. We have recently installed Wi-Fi and there is a Smart TV for internet access. We have a wide range of English television channels inc BBC, ITV, CH4, Sky Sports 1 & 2, Disney Channel and more, as well as a DVD player and a radio/CD player. Room fans and heaters are provided.

I have been going to Fuengirola since I was a small boy and hope the children enjoy it as much as I do as they grow.

first class apt

just returned from this apartment and i am writing this just 12 hours after getting home,the apartment is first class and a great location for a family,only 5 mins from promanade but far away so its quiet,the pool is also great,the pictures dont do it justice,it is a good size and also as the apartment block is a residential building it is very quiet,we had it to ourselves most days,the apartment itself is ideal for a home for home holiday,fridge freezer,oven-hob,microwave,toaster plenty of cutlery and crockery,the bedrooms were ideal,double bed in main and 2 single beds in other that were quite comfortable both with plenty of wardrobe space,the living room was very comfortable with 2 nice sofas,dining table and chairs,coffee table,flatscreen tv and freeview with enough channels to be able to watch,e.g sky sports,discovery channel,freeview channels,it doesnt have aircon but we were there at start of august and the fans were just fine,there are 3 of them,the sun room has a 3 piece wicker suite which is comfortable also.I would recommend this apartment to a young family or mature couple as it is ideally located for that.

can i just also mention that the communication from Steve,the owner was first class and he bent over backwards to do a couple of things for us that he didnt have to,just to make it easier for us on arrival and departing was great.

so overall a fantastic apartment with first class owners.

We bought a property in this area for it's ease of access for all facilities. My parents own a property on the outskirts of town but we chose somewhere closer in so we didn't need to rely on a car to get about. The beach is nearby, my wife loves the shopping, and there are plenty of golf courses in the area.We often love to just sit by the pool and read to relax, it is nice and peaceful even though it is quite near the town. The sun shines (most of the time!), and it is lovely to be able to pop across for a long weekend when we can. It really is our home away from home.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


The beach is a 10 minutes walk from the apartment where you will find sunbeds for hire, restaurants, water sports etc.


Malaga airport is approx 30 mins by car/taxi although car hire is not essential. The train from airport to Fuengirola takes around 40 minutes, they are frequent and just a few euros. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from Fuengirola train station.


Marbella is approx half an hour by road. Mijas is only a short bus ride away (there is a bus stop around the corner) or 15 mins by car.

The local water park, Zoo, El Corte Ingles department store are within walking distance.

There is a cash point and pharmacy within a few minutes walk of the apartment. The nearest supermarket and bakery with cafe is within a 5 minute walk. A large local market is held every Tuesday and is within a 10 minute walk.

Further Details:

'Myramar' shopping mall is about a 40 minute walk, short taxi ride or take the Land Train to the Castle end of the town near the shopping mall where you will find a large range of shops, restaurants, cinema complex.

Benalmadena and Torremolinos are a short train ride away with the Sea life centre, Tivoli World, Cable cars and more.....

Changeover Day:
Change over day is flexible. The apartment must be vacated by 10.30am. The apartment is available for arrival from 3pm onwards.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Please contact us for further information if you would like to make mid week bookings or shorter stays. Discount are available for longer lets. A deposit cheque is required for £100 which will be refunded when the cleaner confirms the apartment is OK. Price includes Wi-Fi and electric (no coin meters).

Bookings are not confirmed until deposit is paid. We ask for a 25% non-returnable deposit on booking and the full balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. If less than 6 weeks to departure at the time of booking then full payment will be required.

The apartment is located a short distance from the centre of town, so is close enough to be able to walk to but quieter than being on the main Fuengirola beach. It is close to all the amenities, the supermarket is nearby which has a lovely coffee shop and bakery attached. It is not far from the weekly markets. A car is not necessary to get around, everything is close by and if you want to travel further a field then the public transport is easy with buses to Mijas and Marbella, or a train to Benelmadena, Torremolinos, or Malaga or even Seville. It is easy to get from the airport to the apartment on train which runs direct from Malaga Airport. If you do want to hire a car, there are lots of local villages and towns to visit such as Ronda or Antequerra. If you have any queries, we are always happy to help - please feel free to contact us.
