Casa Mar - Short Walk to Beaches

The villa is located in a peaceful exclusive residential nearby the Marina Rubicon which is on the most southerly tip of the Island (Playa Blanca) making it the ideal location for those relaxing days in the sun. Being very close to the famous Papagayo Beaches makes it ideal for beach lovers too. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the villa. It has an ample terrace for sun bathing with sun beds and terrace table, a swimming pool and a lovely garden area. The Marina Rubicon which is only approx 5 minutes walk has to be one of the best locations in the Canary Islands. There are a variety of restaurants where you can have a simple lunch to a sophisticated dinner. There are designer shops, a diving school, ten pin bowling, mini golf, a bank and two supermarkets, yet it is also a short walk to the lovely beach of Playa Dorada which is sheltered and safe for swimming. A further 5 minute walk will bring you into the main resort of Playa Blanca.

The property is in a prime location, handy for both Marina Rubicon and Playa Blanca Center. The views from the terrace are spectacular. The villa has everything needed and is very clean and comfortable. I holidayed with my family and spent most days relaxing on the terrace with the BBQ & pool area and watching the see, sunset... We have stayed in Playa Blanca for a long time. We never imagined that one year we would be lucky to be the best place we have stayed. Love the freedom of having British TV, heated swimming pool, BBQ everyday. The views from the terrace are awesome, the standard are first class. We could not find any fault what so ever. Everything is available in the Villa you could possibly need. Lovely views from the very spacious terra, which is private and not overlooked.

Nice Villa

We stayed in the villa for 1 week, 2 adults and 4 teenage children. We were all very pleased with the standard and layout of the villa and its location. Any questions regarding the villa were dealt with quickly efficiently by the owners/agent during booking and while at the property. We all had a good holiday and enjoyed Lanzarote and the villa and I would be happy to recommend.

Coast/Beach:

The beach and coast is only approx 5-10 minutes walking. There are many beaches in Playa Blanca, the nearest to the villa is very close walk away and the furthest being approx 8 minutes drive away, this is the called Papagayo beach which is beautiful and unspoilt.

Travel:

Playa Blanca is a 30 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, this is straight forward drive. The harbour is a 10 minutes walk away which takes the ferry to Fuerteventura Island. Car hire is not essential but is recommended if you would like to explore the beautiful volcanic island and it's sights.

Distances:

There are the Fire Mountains about 15 min drive. Cesar Manriqúe's home which is the famous artists house who developed most of the island about a 25 minutes drive. The famous 'Cueva de los Verdes' and 'Jameos del Agua' and the 'Cactus Park gardens' about 35-40 minutes drive. The Marina Rubicon is only 5 minutes walk and Playa Blanca city center about 10 minutes walking.

Further Details:

There are many restaurants and main shopping area about 15 minutes walk with everything you would need to find. The Fred Olsen ferry goes to Fuerteventura daily from here with about a 40 minutes crossing.
