Large Apartment La Duquesa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Perfect for Couples, Families and Golfers All Year Round

Our large luxurious apartment is located in the gated resort of Coto Real just a few minutes from La Duquesa Marina, the wonderful beaches and the Duquesa Golf & Country Club. Being a raised ground floor apartment it is ideally suited to couples, families with children of all ages and for those who have restricted mobility. It is fully air conditioned/heated and has marble floors throughout. It has 2 bedrooms, one double with direct access to the terrace with an en-suite bathroom and one twin with a private bathroom. We provide linen, towels & beach towels. The large lounge & dining room has luxurious furnishings including satellite TV & DVD and direct access to the terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted including dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is a large terrace ideal for 'al fresco' dining with direct access to the gardens and pool area where there is a swimming pool, children's pool, umbrellas and sunbeds. There is secure underground parking.

They also have a luxury chalet in the French Alps which is a ski business during the winter months since their passion is skiing. Stunning Views

The owners Chris and Susan were a pleasure to deal with right from our first enquiry upto arriving back home.

We were met on arrival by Steve who was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local and surrounding area's. The apartment was lovely with everything we could possibly need. The outside space was lovely and we spent a lot of time sat on the balcony enjoying the lovely views.

The apartment has its own secure garage with a lift to the apartment if you needed it. The pool, although a little cold (to be expected at this time of year) was clean and well kept and we had it to our selves every day.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the Duquesa area and we will be returning.

Great apartment & helpful owners

Just back from a last minute mini break to coto real. The owners (Chris & Susan) were really fast and helpful. The apartment was lovely with a huge terrace. We enjoyed the short walk to the marina for wine and tapas, and especially happy with the great weather 28 degrees and quiet beaches. thanks!

We wanted an apartment in a secure gated complex with a high quality specification that we could offer to guests who were looking for something just a little more luxurious and in a very peaceful location. The apartment had stunning views of the ocean as well as the surrounding area which included the golf course. The apartment is only a few minutes drive from all amenities of Sabanillas and the port which enjoys a great selection of bars and restaurants.

In addition to a relaxing summer holiday our apartment is ideally located for walking holidays, cycling holidays and winter sun breaks.


Head to Puerto de la Duquesa, a 5 minute drive away and you will find two of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol stretching away from either side of the marina. They are clean and safe for children with access to children's play areas and beach bars/restaurants. There are promenades along both beaches.


The two closest airports are Gibraltar (25 mins) and Malaga (55 mins). You have a wide choice of airlines including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, British Airways, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Jet2 and Aer Lingus

To get the most out of your holiday we recommend hiring a car. An alternative method of airport transfer is to hire a taxi. Charges are in the region of 120 euros from Malaga and 40 euros from Gibraltar.


There are many places to visit including the famous village of Casares, Spain’s oldest city, Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Sotogrande and of course Gibraltar from where you can take a trip to Morocco and a Dolphin Safari. All of these are within 20-30 minutes drive.

For our younger guests, Selwo Adventure Safari Park Estepona (20 minutes), Mijas Aqua Park and Fuengirola Zoo (40 minutes).

Sitting in the Duquesa Golden Mile, the Puerto de la Duquesa really is Spain’s best kept secret and when you visit us you will understand why.

The port has a wide range of amenities, affordable top class restaurants to suit all tastes, many boutiques and numerous bars. The local, uncrowded beaches stretch for miles where families can while away the hours in the company of the sea and the sand.

The Duquesa Golf and Country Club is nearby and from the marina you can enjoy sailing, windsurfing, jet skis and scuba diving. Duquesa combines luxury, leisure and the beauty of nature all in one place and whatever your age you are sure to relax, have fun and enjoy a marvelous holiday.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of 25% is required on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. If departure is within 8 weeks then full payment is required on booking. A refundable security deposit of £200 is required against breakages and damage which will be refunded within 10 days of return of the apartment keys to us providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment inventory.

Changeover Day:
Any changeover day is available *. If your holiday is back to back with another then the apartment will be available from 4 pm and the apartment vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. We try to be as flexible as possible so please ask. * During our peak summer season (June - September) changeover day is a Saturday only.

By Bank Transfer - 25% on booking and the balance including the security deposit due 8 weeks before departure. The reservation fee is non refundable Any fees levied by the booking service you use are outside our control

A swimming pool area shared with a very limited number of apartments making it almost a personal pool area. There is also a separate pool for children. Our apartment is on the ground floor with a lovely big terrace partly in the sun and partly in the shade - the best of both worlds. The pool area is only a moments walk across the lovely gardens and can be seen from the terrace. It is ideal for couples or families wanting to enjoy a luxurious getaway.
