Beautiful 4 bedroom country villa on 3 floors sleeping 7/9 persons. Set in a tranquil countryside location with spacious rooms, luxury fitted kitchen, garden, terraces and private pool offering fabulous panoramic views. This property is situated a few minutes drive from the village of Cabernadi offering a taste of traditional rural Italian life. There is a well stocked grocery store, cafe/bar and pharmacy in the village itself. A 15 minute drive takes you to the wonderful medieval town of Pergola offering several supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. It is around 35 minutes to the Adriatic coast and nearest beaches and 1 hour 15 minutes from Ancona airport . Several places of interest are within easy reach: Urbino - 40 minutes, Assisi - 1 hour, Jesi 30 minutes, Bologna 1 hour 30 minutes, Perugia 1 hour 30 minutes. Sibillini mountains 30 minutes. This is a wonderful base to explore the real Italy. Ideal for walking, cycling, touring & relaxing!

Fabulous villa and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amy's villa. It was very clean, well-equipped and very comfortable (the villa is very spacious and the rooms cool, even at night ). The pool was very clean and also cleaned during our stay. We had a great welcome. There are fantastic views across the valley to the mountains - we were treated to a pair of eagles every day and encountered a beautiful stag on one of our night time drives back to the villa. We wished we could have had more time to explore the surrounding woodlands. The neighbours and the village Cabernardi at the bottom of the hill are very friendly - the small grocers store/cafe/bar stocks most things you will need on a daily basis and has a great butchers - they also make a mean Aperol Spritz. There are supermarkets in Pergola which is about a 20 min drive - a very friendly town. We recommend the restaurant at Nidastore, just off the road to San Lorenzo in Campo, but book as it is very popular. It was very easy to contact Amy during the booking etc. We would certainly consider returning to Amy's villa - the Marche has much to offer.

Walks,wild flowers and butterflys

This lovely and relaxing house is set in a stunningly beautiful and unspoilt area of Italy. In June, I was amazed by the number and variety of wild flowers which attracted a vast number of butterflys, some that I'd never seen. Fireflys in abundance danced at night and glow-worms can be found in the longer grass. Walks can be taken along the quiet road to the nearby restaurant or the next village which also has a bar/restaurant. A wonderful longer walk can be taken up to the top of the hill, Monte Doglio, which again has many and beautiful flowers and butterflys. The panoramic views are spectacular in all directions. We visited the nearby extensive Frasassi cave system and the medieval town of Gubbio with it's unique cable car. Both within easy driving distance and wonderful.

summer in Doglio

A beautiful spacious family home that is always spotless and tidy on arrival. Stunning views all round with a friendly village below. We have returned to holday four times now. Recommended.

Piacevolissima Esperienza

È stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. La casa molto accogliente e attrezzata perfettamente per ospitare 2 famiglie comode. Il Check-in e il check-out agilissimo e casa molto pulita. Camere grandi e luminose, con il necessario per sentirsi a proprio agio (ventilatore, specchi, grucce negli armadi, cuscini, letti abbastanza comodi ...) Ottimi gli spazi interni comodissimi e spaziosi. Lo spazio esterno vanta una vista meravigliosa e rilassante. Si potrebbe attrezzare forse meglio. La piscina è piccola ma è perfetta nel contesto. Agevolissima da casa (dalle foto sembra più lontana) Cabernardi si è rivelata una località molto accogliente, vicina da raggiungere e con una macelleria con ottimi prodotti. I vicini di casa meravigliosi. Persone gentili e felici di avere accanto nuovi vicini un po' rumorosi. Nei dintorni abbiamo fatto delle bellissime gite. Grazie alla padrona di casa Sara e co. da Milano

I am from sussex but now live with my husband and 2 young sons in the Algarve in Portugal. We bought the house as a holiday home in 2003. My in-laws have had a farmhouse in the area for many years, and we had visited many, many times including living there in 2001 for 9 months.
We really fell in love with the area, the scenery, the culture, people and of course the food!
The house was in it's original state when we bought it and had not been lived in for several years. The renovation took nearly 2 years and included making the "animal shelter / cowshed" on the lower ground floor into a modern open plan living/dining room and kitchen.
Le Marche really is a special place. As soon as we arrive, the feeling of relaxation is immediate.
I hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do!
