Great pleace to get away from it all

  • 4 of 5

Lovely place for a bit of peace and quiet from the big city. The owners are great, and really helpful if you need any info for the best places to go etc. Lots of nice areas to go with in 30min drive, more or less.

Would recommend it.

Relaxing break in a cosy and comfortable cottage with pleasant owners on site

  • 5 of 5

We were last at Heather's House 3 and a half years ago - but this time stayed for 6 nights- more time to enjoy how peaceful the countryside is.

We were blessed with sunny dry but cold weather but the log burner with an abundance of logs ensured we were warm and comfortable.

The cottage is spotlessly clean and has a homely feel- we could relax in comfortable surroundings.

In a good position to reach the coast at Le Touquet and Hardelot Plage - towns such as St Omer and Boulogne in easy reach and this time we even ventured further making our first visit to Vimy Ridge - amazing and emotional day - quite breathtaking! !

Will certainly not leave it as long before we return

Lovely location tucked away in the Pas de Calais countryside

  • 5 of 5

The accommodation is clean and comfortable, with two areas to sit out depending which way the sun is shining. The kitchen area is very well equipped. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. The surroundings are very peaceful but there is a supermarket and petrol station in the next village, and towns like Montreuil and the beaches near Le Touquet are within easy reach.

If you like peace and quiet, this is for you!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Wicquinghem. There was so much to see and do and beautiful walks around the property.

The hosts were truly wonderful and looked after all our needs.

The cottage was clean, beautiful and well equipped.

There is also a beautiful old church close to the cottage.

The driving is quiet and easy, with little traffic.

We wish we could have stayed much longer and if possible, we will definitely return.

Lovely well equipped cottagge

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely well equipped cottage. We had a welcome drink on arrival. Small things can make a lot of difference. Spent most evenings by the log burner drinking a glass or wine or two. The weather was very good for March. We went to the beach at Le Touquet and visited Montreuil. It is a lovely area and maybe one day will will return. Peter and Janet were very helpful and hospitable. We would have no reservations in recommending this cottage and hosts to anyone.
