Perfect French Country Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 5 days in this beautiful, comfortable gite. Both the setting and the location were a perfect base from which to explore northern France and Janet and Peter were always on hand if we needed anything and suggested places we may like to visit during our stay. The house was very well equipped, with everything we could possibly need for the perfect holiday.

The weather was very kind to us and we spent every day going out and about. We spent a day in the beautiful town of Dunkerque and visited the war museum there and also visited Nausicaa in Boulogne and La Coupole, both of which are an absolute must see!

Thank you both so much for your kind hospitality, the cup of tea on arrival was most welcome!

Next time we need to stay longer!

Perfect in everyway!

  • 5 of 5

We have been to this gite twice and and everything has been perfect both times. Janet and Pete are friendly, helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. The accommodation is very well equipped and homely. We took our 3 boys who always found plenty to play with from the games shed. We had a very relaxing week and will definiely return.

Owner's Response: We were pleased to welcome these guests to our gite. Having motorcycles didn't prove a problem and it was great to see people enjoying themselves despite the inclement weather.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a fabulous week here in July. Janet & Pete could not have been more welcoming and accommodating for my husband, me and our 2 very young Daughters who loved the garden and toys that were freely available. Everything is there to make the stay comfortable. We were very lucky with the great weather but I have the feeling any weather could not prevent a fantastic stay here!

We shall certainly be looking to visit again!

Thanks again to you both, you have a perfect holiday home :)

Tranquil home from home

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a lovely 10 night stay in the gate house. The owners Janet and Peter were available to offer advice on activities within the local area and helped our children have a wonderful holiday with all the activities available for them. The property has all the essentials needed for a holiday.
