Completed in 2007 the apartment is situated on the second floor of a block of thirty six apartments. Furnished and equipped to a high standard and with everything you would expect to find in accommodation of this quality. The lovely bright living room, has two sets of patio doors which open onto a large suntrap balcony with built in barbecue, plus outside shower and sea views. The kitchen is well equipped with table 4 chairs plus 2 stools. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. All windows have electric shutters.

Just a quick note to let you know that we had a great week in your apartment. It is a lovely apartment, very quiet - not sure if anyone else is in that area of the building! We had a very relaxed time - although we did see some rain - quite unusual! Thanks again - look forward to going again.

Peaceful, comfortable holiday

We had a really great stay in Jo and Alan's apartment . Well equipped, spacious, comfortable rooms and a large balcony to while away the day on, if you get too relaxed to go to the beach ( easily done ) Communication was great and Stewart the property manager was prompt and helpful. We would definitely try and book this apartment again if we return to Cabanas.

Big, nice and comfortable apartment with great view and facilities

This was the perfect house for the perfect hollidays! Well located, near the beach and center of Cabanas de Tavira.

Big rooms, well equiped and very safe!

Although it was very hot, all rooms had air conditioning.

There was nothing missing!

Very good apartment and excellent location.

We have spent 2 weeks in the apartment and we really enjoyed it. Great terrace and views, well equiped, large bedrooms and air conditioned. Building very calm and a great location. Hope to return next year. Thanks Alan and Jo.

amazingly quiet and relaxing

The apartment is in a great location and suited me perfectly - it's quiet there, yet just a short walk to the front where all the shops and restaurants are, and the boat to the beach, although I preferred to swim in the tidal river as I'm not a good swimmer and the sea looked too rough when I visited.

I spent a lot of time on the sun terrace which has sun all day and the canopy provided plenty of shade when I needed it.

I would definitely consider going back to Cabanas and staying in this lovely apartment. Thank you Alan and Jo !

A clean well appointed apartment

We enjoyed our stay in Cabanas, the apartment is well appointed and comfortable. The sun terrace is a wonderful addition and was well used.

The apartment was only a short walk to many restaurants, but it is still quite enough not to be disturbed when relaxing on the terrace. Thank you Alan, we would love to return!

Coast/Beach:

The whole area is a beach lover's paradise. The beach at Cabanas has fine, pale golden sand and crystal clear sea. It stretches for 4 kilometres and is accessed by taxi boat service departing from the waterfront (a few minutes walk from the apartment). Further afield the lovely old town of Tavira, also known as 'the little Venice of Portugal' is 4km away and can be reached by train, bus or car. Here you will find Ilha Da Tavira, a seemingly endless stretch of beach backed by sand dunes.

Travel:

The apartment is 35 minutes drive from Faro Airport.

Distances:

Since the opening of the A22 motorway, the whole of the Algarve and its many attractions are now within a short drive. The motorway also heads across the border (24km) into Spain, and the border town of Ayamonte can be reached in less than half an hour. Seville (180km) is less than 2 hours drive.
