Completed in 2007 the apartment is situated on the second floor of a block of thirty six apartments. Furnished and equipped to a high standard and with everything you would expect to find in accommodation of this quality. The lovely bright living room, has two sets of patio doors which open onto a large suntrap balcony with built in barbecue, plus outside shower and sea views. The kitchen is well equipped with table 4 chairs plus 2 stools. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. All windows have electric shutters.

Furnished and equipped to a high standard and with everything you would expect to find in accommodation of this quality. Outside: Large suntrap balcony with table and chairs (to seat eight), also BBQ plus two sun loungers. Lovely views across the river to the sea. There is an outside shower tap on balcony. Guests are asked to please provide own towels for the beach.

Great apartment

We stayed in this apartment on the first two weeks of September. It is very well equipped with lifesaving air conditioning. We enjoyed a few BBQ's on the large balcony which has 180° views. It is located very close to the front and the water taxis that take you to the beach across the lagoon. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment for a stay in the lovely town of Cabanas

The property was clean,tidy and well equipped. Everything needed for a comfortable holiday.

We enjoyed the patio area, equipped with a BBQ, large table and chairs... great for leisurely breakfasts in the sunshine and BBQ suppers !!

The kitchen had everything necessary for eating in, preparing picnics to take out.... full sized fridge freezer,cooker, washing machine,dish washer and microwave plus an extensive range of crockery and pans.

Our stay was very relaxing, we'd certainly visit again.

Great stay, excellent apartment and location

It’s the second year that we stay in Jo and Alan´s apartment in Cabanas and we enjoy it a lot. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and restaurants. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need and very comfortable, with a great view from the terrace.

Great stay in Cabanas and we hope to return next year.

Immaculate! Air conditioned & great balcony

A relaxing summer break! We have stayed here many times (about 9!) and continue to enjoy the apartment, Cabanas, Tavira, Fabrica and many more places. The apartment is well equipped and welcoming. The balcony has beautiful views out to sea and of the mountain sunsets. Love spending evenings outside BBQing fish fresh from the market and watching the sun set. Our favourite part of the Algarve - home away from home! Thank you Alan and Jo!

Fantastic Apartment!

Just returned from a 2 week stay in this fantastic apartment. This was our 4th stay in Cabanas and this apartment was by far the best accommodation. The apartment is light & airy, clean & comfortable with all you could wish for in a holiday home and much, much more! We really appreciated all the little extra touches, even an oyster knife, which we made good use of! Also impressed by the security doors and shutters. Our thanks to Stewart and Renee for looking after the property to such a high standard, again really appreciated. We love this area and this apartment is in a very good spot, a short walk to the restaurants and the ferry to the beach, but not so close as to be in a noisy area - perfect! Thanks Alan & Jo, we will be back!

Clean, very well equipped and fabulous location

The apartment was well situated for easy access to all amenities - restaurants, bars, beach, market and grocery stores. We found the apartment clean and comfortable for our 10-day stay, with a well eqipped kitchen, comforable bed and ample wardrobe space. There is a spacious balcony which gets the sun all day. There were plenty of English channels on the flat screen tv if you fancied staying in for a night.

Stewart, the property manager, was very helpful and available when required. He provided us with the key on our arrival, gave us a tour of the apartment, pointed out some places to dine, local stores and the daily fresh market, which sold both fruit/vegetables and fish.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends/family (already have!!).

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The whole area is a beach lover's paradise. The beach at Cabanas has fine, pale golden sand and crystal clear sea. It stretches for 4 kilometres and is accessed by taxi boat service departing from the waterfront (a few minutes walk from the apartment). Further afield the lovely old town of Tavira, also known as 'the little Venice of Portugal' is 4km away and can be reached by train, bus or car. Here you will find Ilha Da Tavira, a seemingly endless stretch of beach backed by sand dunes.

Travel:

The apartment is 35 minutes drive from Faro Airport.

Distances:

Since the opening of the A22 motorway, the whole of the Algarve and its many attractions are now within a short drive. The motorway also heads across the border (24km) into Spain, and the border town of Ayamonte can be reached in less than half an hour. Seville (180km) is less than 2 hours drive.
