A spacious modern 2 bed apartment in central Carvoeiro. The apartment is situated within a 3 minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and now offers free Wi-Fi. The complex of 8 apartments has a shared swimming pool in a secure garden, which makes it ideal for children, secure parking and a video phone entry system. The air-conditioned spacious lounge/dining room has a dining area for 4, TV with English channels, DVD player, this room has a sliding door with direct access to the pool. There are 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed (with terrace), 1 with twin beds. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster and kettle. For children there is a "slide and splash" water theme park only a 10 minute drive away. There are also a number of fantastic beaches within easy reach. Also ideal for golfers as there are 2 Pestana 18-hole golf courses within a 10 minute drive. Throughtout the summer the main square offers free evening entertainment and amusements. A great family day out is 'Wildwatch Algarve, Ferragudo' a dolphin spotting boat trip, check out the website which has fantastic reviews.

We've had a great time at your apartment. Everything we needed was catered for and it's a beautiful base for exploring the surrounding area. It was great to only have a short walk back in the evening after sampling some of the great restaurants in Carvoeiro. I was surprised that it was so quiet in the apartment, we expected noise with it being so near to the centre but it was very peaceful. We hope to be back one day.

Lovely well located apartment

We have returned home after a 10 day holiday at this apartment in Carvoeiro. This is a very comfortable and well equipped apartment, maintained to a very high standard and a short stroll from all that Carvoeiro has to offer. This was our sixth holiday in Carvoeiro and our fourth in this apartment. We can highly recommend it and look forward to returning next year.

Great location

Just returned from our 3rd stay at this apartment and once again we have had a great holiday. The apartment itself is modern and well equipped, everything you could want from a holiday let. It is in a great location, close to the beach & restaurants. We look forward to our next visit.

A very well equipped apartment and location.

Our second visit to the apartment. - A warm welcome by the Property Management Team. A very clean, well equipped apartment with easy access to the communal pool and the village just a two minute walk away. We ate out every evening as there are a huge range of restaurants to choose from as well as gift shops, bars, the beach, beautiful views and sunsets, pharmacy, mini market for all you need and much, much more. We also hired a car to visit other local villages, towns and beaches as well as attractions such as the 'Slide and Splash' (only 10 mins away), which was a fun day out. You can pre-order tickets to attractions for easier and quicker access. We downloaded the 'Scout' (sat navigation) app onto our phone, which made it a lot easier when we were out and about. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. (We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children)

Perfect location for a great family break

The apartment was well laid out, with plenty of room in the master bedroom and the twin. Good storage space and an excellent kitchen that included a washing machine etc.

Being so close to the shared pool made it actually feel like your own (when we stayed not many of the other guests used it either). Brilliant for a dip after a long day at one of the excellent beaches in the area.

The location within Carvoeiro itself is ideal; literally a few steps from bars/ restaurants/ shops/ mini supermarkets. The town's beach is lovely and sufficient if you don't have a hire car. (If you do, however, you can take advantage of half a dozen different beaches within 10 minutes drive). Something for everyone.

We also stayed here last time and are already planning to return again next year.

Location

We bought this property from new and thought it was an ideal family apartment, close to the centre, beach and amenities of Carvoeiro. With two small children at the time, our main concern was their safety in and around the apart ment & pool area. Eight years on we still love the apartment & Carvoeiro and love visiting our 'home from home' apartment.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is a 3 minute walk to the Carvoeiro beach and a short drive to a number of other local beaches. Carvoeiro is an attractive seaside resort cut with beautiful cliff top walks. There are many beautiful beaches to visit within 3km of Carvoeiro: Praia de Centianes, Praia de Carvalho, Praia de Benagil, Praia de Albandeira and Praia de Marinha which is one of the six Government designated golden beaches in Portugal singled out because of their water purity and beauty.

Travel:

Carvoeiro is a 45 minute drive from Faro airport with easy access for the motorway. Budget airlines e.g. Monarch, Ryanair, Flybe, Easy Jet and Jet2 fly from airports all around the UK. Most of these airlines are linked to car hire and transfer facilities though these can easily be booked independently. Car hire is available from Faro airport or within Carvoeiro. It is always advisable to book car hire and transfers in advance.

Distances:

Carvoeiro has a beautiful sandy beach from which jet skis can be hired and short boat trips can be taken. For the children 'Slide and Splash' water park is a 10 minute drive away whilst Zoo Marine is a 25 minute drive from Carvoeiro. The beautiful cities of Lisbon and Seville (in Spain) are approx. 2 hours drive away. Lagoa is the nearest working town at 5 min drive away. Ferragudo, Portimao, Silves, Alvor are all within 15 mins drive.

Further Details:

There are mini markets a short walk from the apartment, and larger supermarkets within easy driving distance. In Carvoeiro you will find a huge selection of quality restaurants including traditional Portuguese, English, Italian, Indian, Tapas, Chinese and Thai.

Booking Notes:
Prices quoted are for the apartment per week. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking and the remaining balance is to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
A refundable security deposit of £150 is required with the final payment for breakages and damage to the property. Small breakages, such as glasses or mugs can be replaced like for like, or as near to, without affecting the clients refundable deposit.
Clients are advised to take out adequate travel insurance.

Changeover Day:
We try to be flexible and accommodate our clients needs. Access is from 2.30pm and clients are asked to vacate by 10am to allow for same day changeovers. However alternative times can be arranged if there are no guests arriving or leaving that day.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week for the accommodation for 4 people, and are inclusive of air conditioning, electricity, bed linen, towels, beach towels and maid service once a week.
Sofa bed is available for 5th person at an additional charge of £25 per week.
Discounts are available for long term winter lets. Please note that electricity costs are payable separately between the months of November and March.
Payment in Euros is also accepted please contact for further details.

Our agents 'meet & greet' you at the apartment to hand over keys, show you around and answer any questions you may have about the apartment or the resort. A welcome food pack is available to order (extra charge payable locally). Please note that the apartment is non-smoking and we are unable to accept pets. Outside: The apartment has a secure walled garden, a shared pool with sun loungers which provides a peaceful and safe environment for guests to relax. The apartment has direct access to the pool area and for the safety of children this is through a small lockable gate. To the rear of the apartment is a sunny private balcony area with a table and 4 chairs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The price includes maid service prior to arrival and on departure.
