Apartment in Annecy, Haute Savoie, French Alps - Amazing View of Best Landscape

Imagine being right in the historical centre of the most charming city in the French Alps. Although in the middle of every tourist activity in the city, the apartment is quiet and far from the noise of the street. You can see the river in front of you, the castle and the Palais de L'isle. When you want, you can go to the street and enjoy restaurants, shops or go for a walk to the lake (400m away). After breakfast in your living room, you'll have the choice between museums, hiking, paragliding, boat excursions, walking or even skiing (La Clusaz resort 40 min away). If you want to see somewhere else, it's easy to go to Geneva or Chamonix (by train or road).

perfect apartment

If you want a centrally located apartment which is close to the lake and in the heart of the old town, this is the one for you. Never tired of the view over the lake to the mountains.Very comfortable and well equipped. Quality food shops and good supermarket on your doorstep + instant access to atmospheric bars and restaurants. Lots to do: great swimming, cycling, walking, trips on the lake. A truly beautiful place. We will come back when annecy isn't quite so busy!! but be reassured that the location of this apartment distances you from the bustle of the old town. We have no hesitation in recommending it.

Picture Perfect

This is a late review but i hope it gets read nonetheless.

My wife and our 2 year old daughter visited here last year and we were blown away by the location and beauty. The apartment was perfect for us with a high chair and crib. the view overlooks the medieval dungeon, canal and shops that run along it.

the markets, lake and restaurants all exceeded our expectations and this apartment is located in teh heart of it all.

we feel very fortunate to have found this gem.

Wonderful Facility

We arrived by car from Paris later than expected. This was no problem, we were met, shown to the apartment, where to park and the facilities within the unit. This unit was well appointed, and central to local site seeing and easy road access to major roads to view the region, including the Alps. Shopping was at the front door and the local markets were just amazing. The owner and Thallie were extremely helpful and the apartment was well stocked with tourist information in many languages. We stayed 5 days and will be back it was just a wonderful stay in beautiful area of France

Great Location

The location was ideal for what we were looking for. Everything in walking distance, plenty restaurants, shopping and people watching.

Annecy has lots of amenities and offers holiday makers plenty of activities around the lake.

We liked the apartment and its rustic French feel. However, the kitchen crockery and cutlery was insufficient and needed replaced (mugs, glasses, plates etc.).

We would recoommend this property to others.

Exceptional!

My husband and I have rented in many countries in Europe and we would rank this apartment as one of our favourites. The location is exceptional! Two floors above the canal, we ate dinner looking out onto the canal and restaurants watching the light change and the people walk by. we could quickly pop out for gelato or a visit to the market. It was quiet and roomy. A wonderful base to enjoy the area.

The apartment could do with a little sprucing up but the location makes up for everything.

The lake is 400m away from the apartment and you can find a beach about 900m away.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Geneva Airport in Switzerland (60 min) or Lyon in France (90 min). The railway station is very close (15 min for pedestrians).
