The apartment is situated in the original part of Val Thorens, the resort has great shops, restaurants a leisure centre and many other facilities. It is a family apartment designed specifically for families with up to three children. The studio itself sleeps 5 with a pullout double sofabed in the living area & triple bunk bed in a cabin. The lounge has satellite TV with DVD & stereo radio/CD & Ipod dock. There is a separate bathroom with bath, shower & WC & washing machine. The kitchen is very well equipped with two-ring hob, full fan oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, kettle & toaster. There is plenty of storage in the cabin & main living area. There is also a balcony which benefits from the morning sun, overlooking the rear of the property (meaning that it is quiet) with views of the mountains. The balcony provides an outside space in winter and summer, & also has additional storage (for boots & bags), seating & a table. The studio also has a downstairs boot/ski locker. No pets.
We are an English family who have owned this apartment for 20 years, we have made massive improvements over this time largely because we have spent so much time at the apartment and wanted to have certain creature comforts that we feel are essential to enjoying a good holiday. This is our second home and use it in the summer, for walking and enjoying the mountains and lakes, as well as the ski season, for the best skiing in Europe!!! A last minute holiday request was met with a prompt and friendly response from the owners. The apartment is in one of the older blocks in the resort but is well looked-after and is well located in the resort- close to the slopes, shops, apres bars, etc but is quiet at night. Not a great view but it has a balcony and large windows make it light inside. A very well equipped kitchen - only two hot plates but full size oven and m/wave, fridge, pots pans toaster, utensils, etc. Decent size bathroom (full size bath), plenty of hot water - and a washing machine. Tv (UK channels) DVD player, CD player. Hair dryer, Hoover.
Great little apartment. I know the building very well and it has a reputation for noise in front apartments but this one is silent being at the rear. Very well equipped (with TV inc. Free sky channels +DVD). Friends staying in resort were suitably impressed compare to what they got as well. Very helpful owners too.
Three of stayed in the apartment over February half term. The apartment was exactly as described - well-equipped, clean and in a great location! Even though it is located very close to the restaurants and bars - there was never a problem with noise.
Emma & Richard have been very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions we have had. We would definitely consider going back to VT and to the apartment!
My wife and I stayed here for a week in March and the apartment was perfect for us. It was clean and well kitted out and it was so nice to benefit from all the little touches (coffee, tea, washing up liquid - all those things you end up buying for mass-rental places) you get from it being a family owned and used apartment as opposed to a generic rental.
The location was perfect! Really close to the resort amenities (the nearby Sherpa supermarket does a great rotisserie chicken if you don't feel like cooking, but make sure you reserve one in the morning!) and just a short walk from the slopes. We were a little nervous when we arrived to discover that the apartment block is part of the main strip of bars, clubs and kebab shops, but we had no reason at all to worry. The apartment is at the back of the block and we had no problems whatsoever with noise (oh, and the kebab shop does a great burger!).
A great, comfy, good value apartment. The only tiny gripe is that the Saturday clean up would have been a lot easier with a better vacuum cleaner! :-)
A great little apartment. Well situated for shops and bars, this well furnished apartment is lovely and quiet and only a short walk to and from the slopes. I would certainly use it again and recommend it to friends and family.
Two of us stayed for a week here and would highly recommend it for a small group. Excellent location in Val T and the slope is 100m down the road. The flat was well equipped and very clean. The owners made the whole process hassle free.

Bookings are to be arranged by contacting us directly. Please phone for email address. Apartment is available from 3pm on Saturday to 12 noon Saturday unless otherwise agreed. The apartment may available earlier in the day dependent upon whether it has been rented the week before.
50% of the rental amount is due at the time of booking, along with a security deposit of £200 - this is to ensure against lost keys, serious breakages / apartment damage. The remaining 50% is required 1 month prior to departure. Keys will be posted to you once this is received. Deposit will be refunded after the apartment has been checked.
Changeover day is Saturday. The apartment is available from 3pm on Saturday to 12 noon Saturday unless otherwise agreed.
